Tucked away in a beautiful Destin community, lies Gulfside Cottage. Perfectly positioned a short stroll away from the Gulf of Mexico and right across from some of the best shopping opportunities at Silver Sands Premium Outlets, you couldn’t ask for a better spot than Gulfside Cottage! This Destin, Florida vacation home offers three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms for 9 guests, as well as access to community amenities at Gulfside Cottages.

When you enter the home’s first floor, you’re greeted by charming, coastal décor that’ll have you dreaming of the beach in no time. Shiplap, pastel-yellow walls and cool hardwood floors invoke a sense of relaxation throughout the room. Whip up a meal in your fully equipped kitchen, accented by a spacious breakfast bar and granite countertops. A half bathroom is also located right off the living room.

Then make your way up to the second floor for the three bedrooms. The master bedroom features access to a private balcony overlooking the beautiful community. The suite also comes complete with a private bathroom, outfitted with a dual vanity. The second and third bedrooms both share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

Meanwhile, enjoy direct access to the beach at the end of Open Gulf Street, located just a quick four-minute walk away. For days not spent on our famous sugar-white sands, Gulfside Cottages offers a community pool perfect for soaking up some sun all day long. Just grab your favorite book and some sunscreen and start relaxing!

Beautiful and relaxing

Private neighborhood right on the beach, perfect for our friends trip, there were floaties, umbrellas, and beach chairs in the storage area which was super helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Loved it!

We had a great time. I loved that someone was always there to assist us. I also loved the neighborhood and the short walk to the beach. The house was very comfortable and very nice kitchen to prepare our meals. We would stay here again.

Great location and close to the beach

The home was located in a great spot. Short walk to the beach with plenty of room for large families. Loved the neighborhood and the pool. The only negative thing was the appliances not working properly. The agitator in the washer didn’t spin, dishwasher was molded pretty bad and the fridge kept freezing up. Family had a great stay and would love to come to this area again.

Great spot.

Enjoyed a Spring Break get away with my 4 teenagers. Great condo and location that worked perfectly for us. Only 2 small issues: propane tank for the grill was empty and water pressure is a bit low when starting the washing machine These did not take away from our enjoying our trip and we will definitely purely stay here again if we return to the Destin area.

Beach Vacation

There were some broken furniture outside and some cleanliness issues with the couch. Nothing that stopped us from enjoying our time in this lovely neighborhood we will return to soon. We love the location and the amenities. We would book again.

Perfection!

This house is so much better than what the photos show! Nine of us stayed and were very comfortable the entire time. The kitchen is huge and the living space was very spacious for all of us! The porch was a great space to hang out together as well. The short walk to the beach was truly a short walk! And the private beach was so nice!!

Perfect Beach Vacation

We really loved this place! It's a very short walk to the beach and we appreciated the easy access. We knew it would be plenty big for our family of 5 (2 adults, 1 teenager, 2 kids), but it was even larger than expected which was great. I loved how clean it was when we arrived and the neighborhood has a bunch of places within walking distance. It has a ton of pots/pans/utensils to make meals, just be sure to bring salt/pepper/oil if you plan on cooking. The property management were very responsive and friendly, too. We also really appreciated the signage and instructions around the house, as well as the check-in process , very well done! Overall we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this house!

Great house

This property was awesome! We did have a few issues and reported them. They were fixed but the only thing that I didn’t like is that they didn’t communicate if anything was being done. Other than that, it was a beautiful home. We had a great time, probably one of the best rentals I’ve ever gotten in Miramar Beach. I highly recommend.

Was just OK

Need beach supplies/chairs/towels. Spotted one or two giant roaches: one in kitchen and one on the landing. Bad sheets on some of the beds: hot, slippery poly. For that price they should be cool, 100% cotton bedding. Otherwise everything was fine.

Nice and quiet beach house

We enjoyed our stayed and really appreciated the flexibility to extend our stay. The rooms were spacious and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad even though it was raining during our stay. They did have a fully stocked kitchen. The bathrooms upstairs were a bit dirty when we got there. It was a last minute booking so that might explained it. Communication was easy and anytime I needed something they were quick to respond. Overall, we were satisfied and happy with our stay. I would recommend the beach house and staying with Southern Rentals.

Miramar beach rental

Great location. Convenient to stores and restaurants. Football field away from beach. If we had 11 guests as we projected it would have been cramped. Repair issue handled timely and professionally. A/C needs to adjust at night for comfortable sleeping in the upstairs bedrooms. Overall and 8.5 out of ten. And the additional water toys were convenient as well.

Wedding Trip

We were in town for a wedding. The house is very nice and comfortably accommodated our family group of 11. The house appeared to be clean when we arrived, however you can tell the cleaning crew didn’t sweep under the furniture or mop the floor before we arrived. The trash cans outside were overflowing with trash so I’m assuming someone checked out the morning of the day we arrived. Overall we had a good experience and would book again!
