Oceanside Villa "Puebla" is a ground floor villa at the ocean front resort "Villas San Miguel" with spectacular ocean views.

The villa has a full kitchen with all amenities plus a separate bedroom with a large private balcony overlooking the spectacular crystalline waters of the Mexican Caribbean.

Oceanside villa "Puebla" has a very spacious interior (800 sq. ft.) with the bedroom opening onto the large ocean view balcony.

Villas San Miguel are traditional Mexican courtyard villas located directly on the ocean side walkway in Centro Isla Mujeres at Villas San Miguel....... (one of twelve separate villas and casitas surrounding a courtyard pool area along the seaside malecon)

The perfect villa for our trip!

Loved the location and size of this Villa for our stay on the island. Everything was within walking distance. The place was clean and perfectly sized for our week long stay. Would go back to here for sure!

I can't say enough good things about this property! Location is excellent! So clean, the cleaning lady does an excellent job and makes the cutest towel animals. 2 pools both clean and warm and amazing views. I would stay here again over and over. Thank you Keith!

What a great place to stay on Isla. I have zero complaints. It was quiet. Loved the pools. Loved the golf cart rental right there! The staff cleaned the rooms to perfection. Highly recommend!!

This was a delightful place to stay. The condo is very clean and lovely. The king sized bed is very comfortable. The courtyard is lovely and contains one of the two pools on the property. The condo is about 200 yards from the ferry, and is right across from the town’s plaza (we watched all of the Dia de Los Muertos activities there).The eastern shore of the ocean is right outside, off your balcony. You cannot swim right there, but a short walk takes you to the swimming area. The souvenir vendors area starts a block away. There’s a grocery store on the block, and lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. The concierge was helpful in giving us directions, restaurant recommendations, and securing taxi services for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing place, repeat customer

Have stayed at Villas San Miguel multiple times in different units & will continue. Great location near the square. Walking distance to all the restaurants, shopping, beach. Love hearing the water at night. The villas are immaculate & the service is great. Love being able to also rent golf carts there without having to go anywhere else.

Beautiful apartment, great stay

We had a great first impression as we walked in the door for the first time. The apartment was beautiful and in a great location. The space was very, very clean. Personally I loved how the rooms were decorated, very nice! Everyone we spoke to was very friendly and always made a point to speak and say hello. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Charming, clean, and great location

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It's located on the oceanside malecon and it's a convenient walk to a small grocery store, restaurants, the square, and the beach. The apartment is beautifully designed with pretty stained glass and dark wood beams. The maids came by to spiff everything up every other day.

Wedding Party Hangout

This property was exactly as advertised. It fit our wedding party perfectly. The mulitple game rooms, jacuzzi, putting green, and tennis court were perfect and kept everyone entertained. Beds were comfy and clean just like the entire house. Avantstay were perfect managers keeping in contact through the entire booking period. I will highly recommend anyone with a large party to consider staying here!

Loved Puebla! Will return

Beautiful little complex of 12 casitas (apartments). Great location in the center of town, close to the port where you arrive on the ferry, close to a supermarket, and all the action that takes place on Sunday at the Plaza. Our unit Puebla, had amazing views of sunrise, it was steps from the ocean (which we loved listening to), very clean, beautifully decorated, well equipped kitchen, nice quality linens, a big drinking water jug, shower had plenty of water and good pressure, wifi was good. This unit has a balcony and is on the ground level. We felt safe. For next time, we will try a unit on the 2nd floor for a bit more privacy, while still enjoying the ocean and people watching as they walk down the Malecon (ocean side walking path). Gracias!

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa. Our unit was very quiet, and extremely clean and the whole property is very well taken care of. The location couldn't be better: shops, restaurants, etc are a 5-minute walk away but far enough that you are not in the party zone and can enjoy a peaceful unit. There is a little grocery store right around the corner for basics and the golf cart rental is right next door. You get all this plus a 5-minute walk to the best beaches on the island. We loved the authentic Mexican theme of the Villa and our suite and the very high ceilings make the spacious unit feel even bigger. The master bedroom is very well-appointed and a bonus is that you can lay in bed and stare out at the ocean. The deck is very private but offers a fabulous view of the ocean. And the A/C throughout is very appreciated after a day in the sun. We would highly recommend this unit and would love to book again on our next trip to Isla.

Very nice

I stayed in the Puebla unit. Very clean, first floor far enough away from the walkway to promote plenty of privacy. Very clean, close to everything. Walk to North Beach in 15 minutes. Aki supermarket is fine for some essentials but if you want a better selection of stuff I would recommend a trip to chedraui (sp?) you will have to take a taxi or if u have a golf cart… about 10 minutes away. Nice pools, well kept up property. Very respectful and helpful staff. Loved the ocean view shower!!! One thing I found very frustrating which had nothing to do with the villa is that very few vendors/ restaurants can change larger pesos and many will not take credit. When you get pesos from the atm’s they give you large bills. So you are left having to leave a very big tip… i am a very generous tipper but began resenting this form of manipulation. Just come up with a plan on how to acquire smaller bills. I would definitely stay at Villa San Miguel again!

Excellent Property

Everything is as advertised. We walked in and were led straight to our unit with ease. The building and units are very clean, modern, and well looked after. There is someone on property every day far assistance if needed and there is maid service every two days. The location could not be better as it is a short walk to everything on the north side of the island but far enough away from the craziness around the port and playa Norte. The sunrise can be seen just to the south of building, viewable from most of the units. To experience everything the island has to offer rent a golf cart so you can explore the south side. We rented from the place right beside our building, no reservation no problem. Word of advice on the golf cart, they are all over the island and almost all are in rough shape but they get you there. We had no problems with ours. Most importantly, it is congested at times and it can seem like a free for all when you first start driving but you get used to it. Just keep an eye on your rear view mirror and let people pass, especially the taxis.

Our stay was great. Perfect location for walking to restaurants, shops ferry and beach. The condo and pool area were very clean. The staff was very helpful for things to do on and off the island. We will be returning!

Isla Mujeres best

For the most that we’d love to keep Villas San Miguel our little secret in Isla Mujeres,that would be so unfair to Keith Turner and his beautiful property. So here is our review. We rented the oceanside Villa Puebla trusting in the reviews and pictures, yet we were amazed of the beautiful setting in the condo, the decor, the furniture, the stained glass, shutters, paintings etc etc are just so beautiful, and the functionality of everything from the a/c, water pressure, cleaning, maintenance, but the very best is the people at Villas San Miguel, from the receptionist Abiel, to Gloria the amazing housekeeper everyone here was a delight to deal with. The beautiful view from the balcony allowed us to enjoy our first cup of coffee with that ocean breeze and sound that prepared us for a wonderful day ahead. The location of the villas are the best, close to absolutely everything and yet in a quiet area where you only hear the waves when you fall sleep. We rented a golf cart that we parked in the lot adjacent to the property. There is a Aki supermarket less than 60 yards away to gather the basic stuff, like coffee and beer :) Next to that its (in our opinion) the best pizza in the island Sonny’s. The villa has its own steps to the malecón that we used to do our walking exercise going south and also going all the way north to the end of it and then kept walking on the beach, passing Medialuna beach (lots of sea glass there) , Mia’s beach to the beautiful North Beach. You can’t beat the views!!! Thank you Keith for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful villa in the wonderful Isla Mujeres! When we come back to IM we will surely book one of your villas.

Better than the pictures

This place looks better than the pictures. It is situated directly on the ocean. It is close to the grocery store and within walking distance of so much. Abdiel (the concierge) is excellent and able to help you with everything from getting COVID testing to booking tours and renting a gold cart. Huge space and great location with great value.
