Luxurious Private Residence in town of San Juan - Best Location and Amazing View

Casa Miramar is "IN TOWN" on the south side of San Juan Bay. It takes just four minutes to touch the sand (really) and maybe four more to reach the center of town, allowing for easy access to all town has to offer. Amazing views of San Juan Bay, back-up power and water, privacy, pool, AC, bluetooth portable speakers, extra surfboards...the house has it all.

Most groups book with us primarily due to our location and then are always pleasantly surprised by all that Casa Miramar has to offer. Casa Miramar is a spacious and private compound that contains two Villa's situated around an amazing courtyard full of lush landscaping. Both of the Villa's are situated to fully maximize the excellent ocean and town views. The front doors of each Villa open up to your private pool oasis and BBQ veranda. Upon your arrival you will be stopped in your tracks by the breathtaking views of the entire bay and beach. The exterior of the property is surrounded by tropical plants, flowers, and trees. No detail has been overlooked for your comfort. Well furnished and impeccably maintained. This is your home away from home.

Each bedroom has whisper-quiet A/C units and ceiling fans to keep you cool while you sleep.

All bedrooms are located on the upper story.

Living areas in both Villas are downstairs with two complete kitchens, two living rooms, two dining rooms and two half bathrooms.

The outdoor area consists of a beautiful pool with a shallow side and a spacious pergola-covered patio with a BBQ, Pizza oven, sink, and table and chairs. A pleasantly landscaped courtyard separates the two villas which are never rented separately and allows guests with larger groups to have more than ample interior space for everyone

With the ocean, it is easy for surfers to check the wind and wave conditions by glancing at the direction of the boats moored in the bay, and the size of the San Juan Beach Break. Boat trips for surfing or fishing can be booked by request on a modern and fast boat with a knowledgeable Captain for an excellent price.

As the owner of Zen Yoga, your stay includes half-off Yoga classes, and discounted massage (either at the studio or at the house). You can see the studio schedule and special offerings at ZenYogaNicaragua...just look us up on the web.

We also have a meal plan or cooking service if groups want to leave that detail to someone else. Just let us know.

Perfect spot for a large group in SJDS. Beautifully done home with large bedrooms and great appliances. View is awesome...outdoor areas are great for lounging. Vanessa and her team went over the top to make sure our stay was top notch. Daily cleanings of our place, Laundry on site and generally very kind! She offered to grab us dinner upon our arrival (as we were getting in rather late) and helped with any other questions/asks we had during our stay.10/10! Hope to be back soon :)

I stayed here with four of my sisters from Canada, and we had the most wonderful experience. The villas were beautiful, the location perfect, and the views absolutely breathtaking. San Juan Del Sur

The house is very nice and well situated. We wanted to stay in town in walking distance to everything and the location of this house fit that bill perfectly. The house well designed, the AC worked and pool and veranda well suited for resting and enjoying one's vacation time. The owner was extremely helpful in organizing our shuttle from CR. She, or the property manager (a family member) answered any question we had promptly. We would not stay anywhere else if you returned to SJDS.

We loved our stay here. Very friendly host that responded quickly to any requests or questions that we had. Helped us arrange transportation to a nearby beach that was perfect for us. Rooms are in two houses connected by the patio. Worked perfect for our group as the teens could be in one space with two bedrooms and the adults in the other with three rooms. Easy walk down hill to town and beach. So close to town you can hear town party noises at night on occasion. Great outdoor and indoor spaces.

Best Vacation Home Ever!

I’m not sure I have enough kind words to accurately depict our experience at Vanessa’s homes. We rented both of her homes for 14 people for my husband’s birthday. The homes were immaculate, the staff were incredible and the location was perfection. The homes were well equipped with everything we needed, and Vanessa stocked the bar for us upon request. The staff cooked the most delicious meals and cleaned the property daily. It felt like we were in a very exclusive all-inclusive resort. Vanessa had a vendor for everything. Her transportation guy helped us plan our trip around Nicaragua, she’s got a surf instructor contact and her recommendations for everything else were perfect. Her mother lives on the property and handled any request we had which weren’t many because we had everything we could ever want. I’m so genuinely impressed with how well managed this home was. They’re exceptional hosts. Also, Vanessa sent up massage therapists from her studio to help us relax further. The neighborhood is a mix of beautiful homes and humble locals. You are in the mix of San Juan del Sur, so you won’t feel as if you’re missing out on the culture. The barking dogs and roosters only lent to experience. I’d suggest bringing some ear plugs or a sound machine, so that the little noise will be easily drowned out. We walked everywhere from the houses without a problem. I could go on forever. We already miss the homes and plan to return.

Amazing stay

We had a really wonderful stay at Casa Miramar with a group of adult friends. The two properties right next to each other give tons of space, the pool is great, the view is amazing. The hosts Vanessa and Debra could not have been more helpful. We loved being able to walk into town for dinners.

Home but better

This place is incredible. My group of 6 adults felt we had plenty of space to branch out and do our own things, or to do activities as a group. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and stunning views all week long. The home feels safe and secure, and impeccably clean. The cleaning staff and pool person come by the home daily and are lovely people. Overall, I would definitely stay here again! My only tiny recommendation would be to have more shot glasses - we could only locate one and an espresso cup that we used as a shot glass. But that is seriously the only room of improvement for this place :)

Absolutely Amazing!

Our group celebrated a milestone birthday and reunion, and we couldn’t have picked a better location. The villas are beautiful and situated close to town, so walking everywhere is possible. Our wonderful hosts, Vanessa and Deborah, helped us with details like a private sailing tour and a celebratory meal at the villa. I can’t recommend this property enough!

Gorgeous house with amazing view

My family of 9 people loved staying at this location. The property and rooms were so spacious, each with their own AC, balcony and view of the bay of San Juan Sur. This property had two separate buildings each with their own kitchen and a shared outdoor space and since we were such a large group the two kitchens really came in handy. The building basically faces the bay so you always have this gorgeous view of the ocean and of the Cristo de la Misericordia. Check in was super easy, there is a guidebook with instructions on nearby amenities and the owner is easily accessible with any additional questions you may have. I would highly recommend this property if you are traveling with a large group. We loved our visit to San Juan Sur and Nicaragua overall!

Great Property in San Juan Del Sur

We had an amazing stay at this property in San Juan del Sur! The views overlooking the bay and are absolutely breathtaking. The home is well-equipped, spacious, and perfect for our group of four adults, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy.The gated property felt secure, with convenient codes for both the gate and the apartment doors. The layout is great, with bedrooms on the upper level for added privacy. The pool was a highlight, and the extra parking area for cars, ATVs, and bikes was a great bonus. The walk up to the House from Tuani's takes about 5 minutes , it is a bit of a climb but makes for a great VIEW! The host was terrific and made the experience seamless. We would definitely visit again. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and charm of San Juan del Sur!

Great Location

We had an amazing stay at Casa Miramar. The location is perfect and is only a short walk to town. The house also has amazing views. Vanessa and her mom were easy to communicate with and made sure special accommodations were made as we brought our one year old son with us. We hope to return soon!

Perfect Family Getaway

The house met all our needs and more! We traveled with family ages from 8yo-67yo and all enjoyed the property. Home is setup with plenty of space, beautifully designed, comfortable and clean. The location is walkable to beach and many restaurants. Staff onsite is helpful and great cooks, we booked them for all our breakfasts and a few dinners. The host is very resourceful and responsive. We will be booking this home for all our future visits to San Juan del Sol!

Another great stay at Casa Miramar

This was our second time staying at Casa Miramar and it was perfect for our two families- easy walking to town and 15 minute drive from beaches. Our host took pains to be sure we had electricity and water while the town was experiencing shortages. Cooked meals at home were delicious.

An oasis in San Juan del Sur - nice and breezy

We had a great trip to San Juan while visiting family in Managua. After the heat of Managua, the home was perfect with a pool for the kids and AC in the bedrooms. Perched above town, there was always a nice breeze, and the town and restaurants were just a short walk away. Thanks, Vanessa!

We (Vanessa & Will) moved to San Juan in 2005 from Ventura, California, bought the proprryy and built a house because we love it here.

We had our three boys born right here in Nicaragua and love raising them in this gorgeous country. Keeping it simple and free.

Will builds custom homes and surfs as much as possible. Vanessa loves yoga and built and opened Zen Yoga in 2012, she is also very active in the community and at her children's school. Vanessa is also a doula.

We enjoy the simple and easy pace of life in San Juan. It is a great place to live and the temperature is always nice, so we are outside a lot...at the beach surfing, swimming, or just lounging by the pool.

We have all the connections here for any excursions, spa services, etc to make the perfect vacation.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The house is in San Juan and high enough for awesome views but still walking distance to everything. The neighborhood is safe, friendly, and you can purchase fish, shrimp lobster, or beer on the way home.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Since Casa Miramar is IN town a vehicle is not needed. But, we have an extra 4x4 to rent if you want to e xplore for a day or more. Many beaches can be accessed with a town shuttle, taxi, or panga boat trip.

The house keepers can shop and cook as well as their usual duties of cleaning. They make amazing ceviche, salsa, guacamole and fresh chips as well as natural juices.
