This large upscale 2BR/2BA villa is at Hali'i Kai, the only OCEANFRONT condo community within the famous Waikoloa Beach Resort. Besides a great condo, you will get to enjoy Hali'i Kai's unique Ocean Club. Perched at the ocean's edge, it features a multi-tiered salt-water swimming pool (no chlorine!), a sand-bottom spa, a gourmet restaurant bar and grill, an exercise cabana with the finest equipment, and UNPARALLELED VIEWS of the Kohala coast, Maui, and Mauna Kea!

The Ocean Club is reserved exclusively for Hali'i Kai rental guests and property owners. Great restaurant and bar, and for the little ones, the top tier wading pool complete with special turtle fountain offers fun and safe water play. Recliners, changing room and towel service included. Truly outstanding!

Our spacious second-floor condo is the largest of the 2-bedroom units offered at Hali'i Kai-- a light and bright end unit with granite countertops and all the accessories and beach toys you could want. No unit above! Both bedrooms are spacious--the master with king bed and large luxury bath, the second bedroom with two queen beds.

This is by far one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. John & Diana have beautiful space that they graciously share with others. The condo was clean, super well laid out, parking was easy, Ocean Club a huge bonus (we used the pool, gym and restaurant) and great location. People always say “we’ll be back.” But if they’ll have us we will definitely visit again- hopefully next year. Thank you!

We came to the Big Island for some much-needed rest and relaxation. Myself, my husband, and our two teenage boys LOVED the condo. The location was great as a jumping off point for seeing things on the rest of the island. The home was clean and set up wonderfully for the four of us to have space on our own, and also do things as a family. We really enjoyed our morning walks and coffee on the lanai. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, tennis rackets, and boogie boards that were available for our use. We would stay book this home again in a heartbeat!

Amazing location! John was responsive and very helpful. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed (and more) to enjoy Hawaii. Also, beds were very comfortable too. Loved the beach chairs, umbrella, towels and various other items to make our trips to the beach perfect! We will DEFINITELY go back and go here again. :-)

We had a wonderful stay!

We loved this Big Island property. The complex is quiet and gated with little traffic and noise. We easily explored Kona, Hilo and Volcano from this location, and loved the impeccably clean and well-stocked condo. Thanks again to the lovely owners with great communication! We will be back!!

Wonderful Property! Clean, spacious, everything you need for beach fun. Great location to spring board from. We enjoyed snorkeling, Volcano National Park (got to witness the 6/4 eruption during our 2nd trip to park) and the sunset from Mauna Kea Summit. Lunch and diner on site was surprisingly delicious from the beach club bar/grill area. We only ate off property twice during our stay. Absolutely delicious- Fish Tacos & Pork Nachos a must! Hosts are readily available and responsive. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again.

Great condo with great amenities in a perfect location

We loved the space and cleanliness of the condo. We used the Ocean Club and loved the food, pool and amazing views. We appreciated the ability to use the snorkel gear at the beaches close by and in walkable distance from the condo.

Wonderful Place - Can't wait to stay again!

We had an amazing time at this property - we were there for a month and everything went great. The condo itself is amazing - very well appointed and the grounds are immaculate. The pool is great and you can whale watch while doing cardio in the gym. Everything you need for snorkeling or hanging out at the beach is included. Just an amazing place with responsive and helpful owners. Highly recommended!

A very nice condo with all that you need.

We really enjoyed our stay and the condo was fantastic. It had everything you need in the kitchen. Beach towel, beach bags, chairs, etc. were all available. We had what we needed. The few things I did not like-no light on the patio or Lani. It was so dark at night. We did not like that you could not see the grounds. Also, did not like that there was not any shade by the pool-no umbrellas. You had to go up by the restaurant area and sit in a chair to be shaded. That was a deal breaker for me for future rental. Also, need to loosen up on not allowing to bring beverages to the pool. I am a Type 1 diabetic, had just come from a walk and had a small bottle of soda-needed that for sugar in case the blood sugar ran low. The gal was quite rude on not letting me take it into the pool area even though the bar was not even open. It was 8:00 AM. Seriously. Most people will still buy from the bar, but this was a bit ridiculous. But all in all we enjoyed our stay. The condo was wonderful, just the ground management needs some loosening of the strings….

Well equipped, nice location

We've stayed in a few condos in the general vicinity over the years. This was definitely one of the nicest. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of beach/water sports equipment, even tennis rackets and a basketball! Nice, large kitchen and family room area to stretch out in.

Wonderful vacation condo!

The property is well maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked, and the owner provides all the beach gear, tennis rackets, snorkel equipment, etc. the beds are very comfortable and the lanai is great place to enjoy your morning coffee. We have rented this unit several times and have always had a great experience.

Big Island Stay

This villa at Hali'i Kai was absolutely great for our stay! Check-in was a breeze, host accommodated an earlier check in, and the condo was even more spacious than it looked online—plenty of room for everyone to relax. The location was super quiet and peaceful, and we appreciated the short, pleasant walk to the Ocean Club.The condo itself was clean, with a well-stocked kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The master bedroom was super comfortable, and the second bedroom with two queen beds was great for our teenagers. We also appreciated all the little extras, like beach toys and accessories.The Ocean Club was a highlight—beautiful ocean views, a saltwater pool, a low key locals restaurant and bar. We also enjoyed the tennis/pickle ball court. The local is easy access to the Kona airport, central for sightseeing, and close to restaurants and shopping.

Fabulous home away from home

Beautiful Resort Condo

My family had a great time staying at this condo - in particular, we really enjoyed being walking distance from a nice resort pool overlooking the ocean with a private (to the resort) bar and restaurant. The condo itself was clean and well stocked with items to use, like boogie boards, beach towels, hats, etc..

1st Hawaiian Family Vacation

5 starts on all categories only because I couldn’t give 6 stars! This property was phenomenal and accurate to its listing! From the overall look and feel of the property to the cleanliness and convenience. We selected this property not only based on the photos listed by the owners but by all of the 5-Star review that previous guests left. Being that it was our first time visiting Hawaii, we didn’t really know what all to expect aside from beautiful weather and scenery. We wanted to ensure that the place we stayed at was clean, safe, and convenient to the things we wanted to do while on vacation. This property really had it all and we went from checking a Hawaii vacation off our “Do it once” bucket list to potentially visiting again in the future!

Highly recommended for families with young kids

My wife and 2yo son had an awesome stay at this property. The hosts were so nice and responsive and they have thoughtfully equipped the unit for anyone to have a great stay. The neighborhood was so quiet and calm that it made for a very relaxing stay, and the pool club was perfect. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing Condo Community with everything you need!

We LOVED our stay at Hali'i Kai. This condo was perfect. It had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated small details like the beach bag hanging in the laundry room available for our use! (so helpful!). We also loved being able to use the snorkel gear (highly recommend snorkeling at two-step!) and beach supplies! (made for a great day at Hapuna - bring the boogie boards!) The condo was well stocked, comfortable, and just overall wonderful. We would without a doubt stay here again! We had a great experience at the Ocean Club restaurant & pool and we loved watching the sun set from the pool area. What a gem! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Pleasant Place

The condo was great just as described. We had a wonderful time staying there. It was spacious, clean, organized. John, the owner provided all info we need to check in. The location of the resort also worked for well for us. We had a great time while on the Big Island.

Hali'i Kai at sunset! We live in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains of New Mexico, a beautiful place in its own right. We also love being by the seashore, and searched for several years for that 'perfect place' for a second home. We found it at Hali'i Kai! We love being here together and also sharing this wonderful place with our five grandchildren, who delight in being here. As owners for the 'long haul', we take pride in our home and work to make it an awesome Hawaii haven for our guests.

Once we settled on Hawaii for our second home, we visited all the islands and found the Big Island most attractive for our tastes. We vacationed at many resorts in the Kona and Kohala areas. All were fun, but when we decided to buy a home, the Kohala Coast was the clear choice, and Hali'i Kai at Waikoloa Beach with its incredible ocean-front Ocean Club was our hands-down favorite!

Two of the most singular benefits of being our guests are the experience of staying in a wonderfully luxurious home in a truly beautiful setting, and the opportunity to enjoy the awesome seaside setting of the Hali'i Kai's Ocean Club--it is unique among Waikoloa Beach resorts in that respect. At your doorstep are also the many amenities of the wider Waikoloa Beach Resort--great dining and shopping at the Kings and Queens shopping pavilions, together with many free hula and musical performances and two quality markets for provisions. The beautiful 'A' Beach is a short walk or drive, and many other beautiful beaches are within a 15-minute drive, including the world-class beaches at Mauna Kea and Hapuna. It's a visit to paradise!
