Aloha Alesha & guests We sincerely appreciate your review. Please allow me to put a couple of items forward for future guest's consideration. The Big Island had just been lashed by 2 MAJOR storms in Aug. & Sept. 2026: Hurricane Lala & Lowell. Members of the cleaning team live some distance from the resorts. The roads they have to travel were still being cleared / had debris, thus adding to their travel time. The cleaners came at 10:40. Optimal would have been right after 10 a.m. Yes: your expectation of checking in at 3 is realistic. This is met 99% of the time. Members of your group arrived at 3. The cleaner allow entry, while she finished up. She left at 3:10. In a perfect world, everything would have been in perfect order at 3 p.m. Yet, in the cleaner's haste to vacate the condo for your group, emptying one small waste basket in the guest room was overlooked. Our mutual apologies. Yet, a bit of 'grace' should be granted to the cleaner doing her best under the overall circumstances. When we checked in with you that day you commented on our 'beautiful home'. We appreciate that and we and our locally based cleaning & property management team members always do our utmost to provide guests with 5* accommodations: clean, well-stocked, relaxing. I feel your rating of [only] 4 stars was a bit harsh and undeserved. I just want future guests to understand our [host's] position. Re: Parking for 3 cars... one dedicated space is provided in front of our unit. There is a visitor spot 4 spaces down and several visitor spots right across the lane. Parking should have been just fine. All in all, our town house / condo IS a lovely spot for future guests to thoroughly enjoy. We offer 2 lanai areas. Lovely views. Quality linens, dishes, cookware, gas grill, high-end furnishings, koa Hardwood floors, new high-end appliances, beach gear provided, and more.
