***Due to the ongoing issues with Mexico's water treatment pumps, the ocean is not guaranteed to be open at this time.. They do test the bacteria levels daily, but the majority of the year the Ocean has been closed from the Border, past Imperial Beach up to Coronado Beach. If swimming in the ocean is a major amenity I would not stay in these areas, until further notice.***

Beach Club

The beach club is a three story private, gated complex. The Beach Club is a U-shaped building that is located on the sand, no busy street or boardwalk separating you from the beach. It has its own heated pool, Jacuzzi hot tub, and barbecue facilities in the spacious garden atrium.

Your unit #210

Unit #210 is a second floor unit that offers you a beautiful direct oceanfront view of the water. You'll relax to the soothing sound of the ocean waves. You'll have your own private, sunny direct oceanfront balcony. There is bedding for 5 people, you may have up to 7 people max, but the bedding for the extra you would have to bring.

The area

Relax in a quaint beach town, stroll on the quiet beach. Walk on the old fishing pier, and bring your rod and bait! Excellent surfing! Watch or participate! A 10 minute drive affords you easy access to the famous Island of Coronado and its golf course. 25 minutes takes you to the world famous San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, San Diego Embarcadero, San Diego Convention Center, fabulous desert or mountain drives, Mexico, and all that the sophisticated city of San Diego has to offer!

Location was good with nice places to eat close by. People above us were loud with a child running late at night. Washer leaked on the ground which will be causing mold so recommend taking care of that. Place is clean.

It was a very nice and comfortable place. Loved that it was walking distance to the beach. Could do with a newer couch and was disappointed that I was not able to use the hot tub. The pool was a good temperature, but I feel that the jacuzzi could have been hotter. Thank you, our time there was very enjoyable!!

Great place/location

This is our 3rd time staying at this complex in various units and we really like the location on Imperial Beach. The check in/out procedures are easy and it's a quiet complex. There are just enough bars, restaurants within walking distance to go to. The unit we stayed in is ready for some renovations as the sea breeze takes its toll over time. Overall, this is a great place/area to stay for a getaway and we look forward to our next trip in a couple of years...

Fantastic Apartment, check out the beach before booking

The place is great! Very comfortable, and the view if fantastic. But if you are planning on swimming at the beach, make sure you check out this website to verify that you will be able to swim in the ocean: sdbeachinfo.com According to the lifeguards, this beach is closed to swimming about 1/3 of the year due to the contaminated water from the Tijuana river.

Perfect Beach Location

The condo was clean and spacious with the perfect location in the beach! Easy walking to multiple excellent restaurants and a quick coastal drive into the heart of Coronado! Very disappointed the hot tub was closed as it is January, so we were unable to enjoy that. The kitchen has basic utensils had to buy spices and cooking oil. Also desired more blankets. Would stay here again!

Fall Trip to Imperial Beach

The condo was so clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The grounds were lovely. So many beautiful plants and flowers. The neighborhood was also clean and friendly. We loved Katy's Cafe. Best coffee ever!!!! The Coronado Brewpub was so fun and lively and the beer was yummy!The access to the beach was great. The sunsets were breath taking. The first time we have been to Imperial Beach and it won't be the last!

This property was wonderful, not perfect but perfect for us. The condo was spacious and had a wonderful view. It wasn't new so therefore you can not expect it to be perfect. The location, the courtyard, balcony and open concept in the condo itself made it perfect. We will be booking again in March but for a 3 bedroom!

Beautiful view, nicely furnished, great location on the beach and near restaurants. However, the apartment was very run down, cabinets were filthy, plumbing had problems, mold in the bathroom, carpet had tacks sticking through and was torn up. Not upgraded since the late 1980's.

Overall good stay

Overall it’s a nice location. My only complaint is there’s no sound barrier. The people above us had several kids that constantly stomped and jumped around that went late into the night. It made it hard to get our kids to sleep and for us to sleep as well. When the bath or shower ran in the master bedroom above us it was very loud in our own master bedroom. Also in our own condo there were no stoppers for either of the bathtubs. It’s a nice location and we enjoyed the beach and the pool.

Beach Location

The condo location is great! We are between the rocks and pier! Super convenient since it’s on the strip for shopping/eating and on the beach. The condo could use some tlc as many items could be replaced. It could use ceiling fans and a new patio door, and some beach friendly items like umbrellas/boogie board/beach toys. The keys always got stuck or is hard to manage so it’s a bit frustrating. The remote control or cable would not work so we never bothered calling it in. Overall, the condo had most of the items and we had a blast. Would consider renting again and check out the other units.

Imperial Beach Disappointment

This unit is in such poor condition, we are surprised you are willing to represent it. Carpet torn, knobs missing from kitchen cabinets, fireplace rusted, rotten door & window frames, missing TV remote, bathroom faucets don't work, scraped paint on walls, kitchen drawers all scraped inside & could use liners. Beautiful view but unit needs serious updating!

Third stay, won't be our last.

This is our third stay at this complex, second in this unit. I just love it! This time was my sister and I and our five kids who range in age from 2 to 16. Everyone felt safe and had a wonderful time. The best thing about this unit is of course the balcony. It was wonderful to stay in the condo while the baby napped and be able to watch the other kids play on the beach (even though the water is a no-go, due to contamination from the nearby river) The pool is slightly heated so we swam even though the weather wasn't great. It's been a year since our first visit and a few maintenance issues are still issues. For instance, one bathroom sink faucet handle leaked last time we were here, so now that faucet just doesn't work at all. Seems like a $40 faucet would be worth your guests having use of the sink. Last time the bathroom fan made a hiddeous grinding noise, now the fan is gone and there is just a bare bulb in it's place. Again, if this were my million-dollar unit, I'd buy a fan, or at least cover the whole in the ceiling. We met the attentive manager via text and the handyman in person when we had an issue with the dryer, Since I had stayed behind from the day's adventures to do our laundry they made sure I could use a dryer next door, which was convenient, and the next day he fixed our dryer with no interruption to our day. There is a blender and Keurig (that's on its last leg) and I bought and left a couple of pizza pans. Cooking meals in the condo is easy. It's easy to make a list of little things that as a homeowner I would fix/update because I feel so at home in this unit. Walking in the front door just feels right! For the location and view, you can't beat it. We'll be back.

The unit is clean, spacious, and matches the description online. The balcony sits 2 comfortable and is perfect for a 180 degree view of the ocean and sunsets. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening watching the waves and the birds...as well as some helicopters. The unit is on the second floor of three and upstairs neighbors can be heard moving around. We had one repair need that came up and the unit manager was responsive as was the repair person who come in the next day. When you are looking out towards the horizon, it is hard to believe the property is actually 'in town' but the walks are short blocks or stretches of beach to a number of restaurants as well as the pier. The beach is wide and flat and good for walking....but headed north, there was a bit of trash washed up.

Amazing location

This was our first time to imperial beach and we will definitely be back. This property was in an amazing location, everything walking distance and can’t beat the view.
