Welcome to your home-away-from-home here at Gold Creek Lodge! This custom mining-themed cabin is nestled in the ponderosa pines in the highly popular Powder House Pass area. Located in a perfect location centrally located within the recreational corridor of the Northern Black Hills, you'll enjoy the convenience of having Snowmobile Trail #5 and the Mickelson trail adjacent to the neighborhood. Are you traveling to the Black Hills to see the sites? Spearfish Canyon is only a 5 minute drive from the cabin where you can enjoy waterfalls, rock climbing, fishing and hiking in the rim-rock canyon walls of the canyon. Terry Peak can be accessed in a short 5-10 minute drive for some skiing adventures, and you can be in Deadwood in as little as 10 minutes enjoying the nightlife and festivals that frequent the area. Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park and more are only a 45 minute drive from the property as well! Walk out your door and snowmobile, hike, ATV or bike without having to hook up a trailer and find a trailhead. Whether you're visiting for a relaxing getaway or an adventure filled vacation, Gold Creek Lodge is sure to please!

After enjoying your adventure filled days on your vacation, you'll love coming home to enjoy the wildlife and endless starry nights from the large deck or hot tub. Inside, you'll love the comfort designed theme and furniture with 3 king suites. The main level has a large open concept with a grand entry, large windows filling the cabin with natural light and great views of the surrounding forest, and cathedral ceilings. You'll find quality rustic finishes throughout the cabin with wooden timber accents, rock and metal accents, and a large fireplace in the main living area. There's 5 total bedrooms, all 5 of them with King beds, 2 of the bedrooms each have 4 twin beds as bunk beds (4 total bunk beds), and there's a sofa sleeper in the lower level family room as well! The open kitchen leads right into the living area, perfect for gathering and creating the wonderful memories with your family and friends. Make your next vacation to the Black Hills a memorable one! Other than there not being nearly enough towels or coffee cups for our large group we really enjoyed this house. Great hiking/atv trails just down the road. The house was great for hosting a big group. Would definitely go again.

We had a group of UTVers and enjoyed the long drive to park our rigs in. We had 4 couples and each had their own bath and king size bed. It was awesome. The hot tub worked well. It is a nice, easy location to get to and not far from restaurants and things to do when we're off the trail.

Overall the property was very nice. The kids were a bit disappointed that the video game was out of order. The cookware and knife set could use an update and the sliding door to the grill needs to be repaired. The location is fantastic and we loved the nearby hiking trails.

Great place to relax and spend time with family without feeling cramped. We loved being so close to the hot spots of the area and the hikes so close by! We will be back soon! FYI - my family said I finally picked a awesome Vrbo ( meaning it was all that it said it was and more)

Overall, the house is lovely. Great space for my group this week but there at several things that leave a sour taste, and I feel I should bring them up as those in my group noticed as well as myself. Maybe things unnoticed but to be addressed. 1.Mouse poop in front door entry was the first thing we saw. Not a great way to come into a house. Not saying it wasn't new, but some had been there for a while....2.The master bathroom toilet was dirty behind the seat. Pubic hair and debris that didn't belong to us. 3.The dryer is terrible. When it runs, squeals like crazy, and takes at least 3 cycles to dry even the minimal amount of stuff. 4.There were not enough washcloths per bathroom. I had to buy some at the dollar store just do we'd have them. 5.There's a very bad place in the floor by the stools that's lipped up enough that caused someone to trip. ( it was not alcohol related )6.The rug coming in has a bad, curled corner as well. 7.Two of the comforters had a bad enough odor, they weren't used. Even causing a mildew like reaction. 8.The softener works much better when there's salt in it. It's very empty and causing very hard water. (Owning a Plumbing company i understand the importance of soft water in these settings)9.The ice maker isn't working well. But i feel this is related to the lack of soft water10.2 coffee pots were great, but do you know it takes over 50 minutes to brew coffee in them?11.Behind the nightstands is filthy.

Great rental

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Easy check in and so much room. We loved the sauna and the hot tub. I would have given it five stars, but the home itself is starting to show some wear along with the towels etc. for a home to sleep 20 people there was plenty of plates and utensils but not enough dining seating. All in all a great property.

Great cabin! Awesome for our 10 adults! Great location with easy access to Northern Hills. 2 of the 6 bathrooms are 1/2 bath, maybe I missed that in the listing info... still worked out though!

Great time!

This is the second time we have stayed at this house and we love it! Plenty of room for a group of people. The only thing we all noticed during this stay was that there was very little water pressure in the showers. Other than that our stay was great!

Was great location. Plenty of room for my family. Living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable. Nice having king beds and plenty of bunk beds. Pull out couch not comfortable.

Family ski weekend

Overall awesome experience! The home was beautiful and very close to everything! We had a group of 18 and we all slept very comfortably! So many bathrooms which really helped. Our only complaint was that the property wasn’t very clean when we arrived. Other than that we would definitely stay here again!
