Bright and spacious duplex located on private lane. In walking distance of many island attractions. Offers second floor master bedroom suite. 1 bedroom and 1 bath downstairs/1 bedroom and 1 bath upstairs. Offering WiFi.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge, and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Convenient location, great-value and wonderful time!

Reviewer Comments: This place has pretty much everything you need and was pleasantly surprised to find there were extras such as spices, sugar and plenty of dishes. Lots of seating for family entertaining and eating. Would definitely stay again! The only challenge we ran into was that the master bathroom shower/tub diverter upstairs was in need in of repair so we used this tub only for baths.

Nice location, fine for short stay

We only needed accommodations for 3 nights, which this house served us ok for that time. You DO need to bring paper items like TP and paper towels, which VRBO listing didn't state when we booked. Upstairs pull out sofa uncomfortable. No door on upstairs bathroom, in case that matters. Dated furniture and decor. Outside shower not working, however, when I mentioned it, it got fixed right away. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and items if you plan to cook. Nice location close to things you'd expect to visit on the island. Quiet lane with other homes on it, very little traffic. Great communication, easy check in and out procedure.

Check in was a breeze, however as soon as we opened the door, we were hit with the nauseating smell of cigarette smoke. There was also the strong smell of an air freshner that I'm assuming was trying to mask it, but the combination was disgusting. Beyond that, the place was covered in cat hair and there were crumbs and cobwebs everywhere. My wife spent an hour cleaning just so she could relax. I sent an email immediately, but it was ignored completely, in fact, as of now, I still haven't received a reply. We left the house cleaner than when we got there, so hopefully the next guests enjoy it. It took a full week to get the smell of cigaretts to be bearable. Will not rent that house ever again.

Lots of games provided. Gas fire pit was nice.The realty agency people were very nice and responded immediately to small issue that came up.Trash day is apparently Thursday, not Monday (paperwork we were given said Monday)...but not a problem. Saw a fox drinking from neighbors birdbath. Very close to Maddox.

The Ocean House property in particular is well suited for our needs... conveniently located, near to just about everything we want to get to. The inside was clean, and well set up. (We particularly appreciate the big dining table, great setting up board games, or just gathering friends/family to eat/chat.) We plan to try and stay here again next year!
