BEST LOCATION on Lake of Egypt, right across from Party Cove and just a short kayak ride away from Egyptian Hills Resort. Beautiful view close to all the fun. You will love our cozy cottage with its own private double covered dock on deep water. We provide a large floating lily Pad for more swimming fun. In the evenings, enjoy the fire pit down by the water. Lake of Egypt is great for fishing, swimming, or boating. Don’t have a boat, don’t worry, we provide 3 kayaks, a petal boat, and a paddle board so you’re all set to go. *High Speed Internet

Amazing stay! We have been to Lake of Egypt multiple times and this was our favorite spot by far. Our host was incredible and so easy to communicate with. We loved all the lake accessories provided and spent every moment by the water. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will be back! You can’t beat the hospitality provided and felt very accommodated. Thank you so much for creating a beautiful space to make memories that will last forever!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had such a good stay for the 4th of July holiday. The house and property exceeded our expectations. Very clean and well taken care of. There was plenty of space for our family of five. Our teenagers really enjoyed the upstairs loft bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We utilized the nice dock for our boat and we caught so many fish off the shoreline. This place really has it all for your lake getaway. Beautiful location and home! Vickey was also very attentive to any questions I had. We already booked our next trip back!

Great place....

Wonderful location, good fishing, neighbors so helpful! Pixie, the dog neighbor was a big plus, so friendly and put smiles on our faces everytime she came over to visit. Will hopefully be back to visit again! Thank you for a great family fishing weekend!

GREAT LAKE VIEW

Enjoyed our stayed. Location, views, wildlife and firepit are great. Don't recommend upstairs bedroom for elderly or young child, has steep spiral staircase and home has only one shower which is very small in lower bedroom. But would overall recommend and stay again.

Great house, perfect location

Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with us during our stay so we were not able to fully take advantage of being on the lake and the amenities offered. We will definitely be back when we can enjoy the lake. The house was great, very clean and well cared for. We loved the location on the lake, it was very quiet which would be perfect for kayaking.

Short Summer Getaway

The lake house was a great place to relax and have fun before school resumes this week! The location right on the water is perfect. We rented a jet ski from the marina one day and had a blast and having the dock there was easy to tie up to and take a break. The kayaks, paddle board, and lily pad float that were available to use made playing on the water so much fun. The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family of 4. Communication with Vickey for check in-out was super easy.

Wonderful Weekend

We loved our weekend getaway on the lake. House was perfect. We are bird nerds so we loved seeing the heron and egrets across the way. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out and floating in the lake after a day of hiking. One of our favorite vacations.

Weekend getaway

We had such an amazing weekend at this rental. The owners comunication was 10/10, the cleanliness of the home 10/10, the accuracy of the listing 10/10. My children loved the lilly pad, kayaks, and games they had available. The kitchen was equipped with anything you would need for your stay! Well definitely be back!

Wonderful weekend stay

The property was great and Vickey was very responsive to any questions we had. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the lake, playing on the lily pad, and using cicadas as bait for fishing. House was comfortable and well stocked. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Setting

We had a small family reunion, and the setting absolutely met our needs. Peacefull, relaxing! The hostess is wonderful, and we really enjoyed all the amenities that were provided! I would choose this location again!!!

Cozy and Beautiful

Very cozy house with many amenities, beautiful views and a great atmosphere. We spent most of our time in the water while at the house. Very friendly area and a friendly neighbor who we enjoyed chatting with. Beautiful spot on the lake. We especially loved the fire pit on the little beach by the dock. We had a fantastic weekend and definitely plan on coming back again!

Weekend Lake Getaway

We had a great weekend getaway at this property. The host is great to work with and the property was just as described. It’s a great location on the lake. She has kayaks, a lily pad, floats and other lake toys that are available for you to use if you like. We rented a pontoon and jet skis so we didn’t use them but it’s a nice touch having them available for guests to use. There’s a double slip boat dock which is great if you’re bringing your own boat or renting one or just to swim off of in the lake. It’s a nice quiet little neighborhood on a dead end road so there’s not a lot of traffic. The neighbors we met were all very nice and friendly. The house had everything you could need or want in the kitchen and extra linens and pillows. And more than that one “standard” roll of toilet paper!! 😂She provides little extras like soaps and makeup remover wipes which is a nice touch. The host goes out of her way to try to make your stay at her property the best it can be for you. We would definitely return to this lake and this property again. I’m ready to go back now!! Thanks for sharing your property with us!!

Best location

Everything about our say was perfect. One of the best spots on the lake with gorgeous views of the Shawnee Forest. Beds were comfy, house was clean, and great outdoor spaces including the patio, fire pit and dock. We enjoyed use of the kayaks and swam off the dock. Vickey was an excellent host and always in contact if we had questions!

Family Gatherings

We love this lake house. Our family all live or has summer homes on Lake of Egypt!! We get to come from our home in Florida & visit with everyone!! Boating, swimming & fires by the lake are all special times!! The outside patio overlooking the lake is a great place to gather!!
