3 Querce Country Home is a gorgeous 800-square-meter villa for 10–14 guests, featuring a private pool, gym, and hot tub, nestled in a 10,000-square-meter private park of oak and holm oak trees, atop a hill overlooking Siena. It features 5 bedrooms (3 with en-suite bathrooms; the other two each have a shared bathroom). The master bedroom includes a sofa bed (sleeps 3 in total). Two bedrooms are located on the first floor, while the other 3 are on the first floor, where you’ll also find the fitness area.
A few steps from the living room lead to the loft: an elegant, spacious private living room with a double sofa bed, a 120-cm-wide sofa bed (sleeps 3), and a bathroom.
On the first floor, the large living rooms open onto the lodge, where a long table can seat 14 of you to enjoy dinners and lunches with an amazing view of Val di Merse and the oak grove.
The dining room is beautifully furnished with antique pieces that are part of the family’s private collection.
The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens; it opens onto another outdoor area where a table can seat you for a nice breakfast or dinner while you enjoy the wood-fired oven as well.
The location is ideal, as it is just a 5-minute drive from Siena’s city center (with all kinds of shops and restaurants), only a 10-minute drive from Monteriggioni Castle, and 20 minutes from San
Gimignano.
A tree-lined avenue leads to the villa, with direct access to the parking area that accommodates 4 cars. Passing under the round arch, you enter the large living room with a fireplace, which opens onto a loggia and the expansive garden.
The covered patio extends the entire length of the villa, and from here you can admire the view over the valley, relax on the outdoor sofas, or enjoy dinner at sunset.
The dining room can comfortably seat 14 people; elegantly and impeccably furnished, it connects directly to the kitchen, which is very well equipped with a microwave,
oven, two dishwashers, a wood stove, and a TV.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.
A comfortable bathroom is located at the entrance to the first floor, just in front of the large, monumental entrance staircase, which—thanks to a handcrafted chestnut wood balustrade—leads to the upper floor.
At the base of the staircase are two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, elegantly furnished.
Upstairs, the staircase leads to a living room with a fireplace and television, which opens onto the panoramic gym equipped with a flat-screen TV, as well as to the family room, featuring a double bed, a sofa bed, and two bathrooms.
From the opposite side of the living room, you enter the other two bedrooms with a balcony and the sixth bathroom.
Going down to the first floor via a masonry staircase, you reach the Loft, a beautiful, spacious two-room apartment with a bathroom featuring a shower, a large table with sofas, and two sofa beds (one double and one single). This space can serve as either a family room or a game room for entertainment.
The garden is meticulously tended by the owners. The swimming pool, situated in a private area of the villa, overlooks a picturesque valley, while the hot tub is located right next to the covered loggia—the ideal spot to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset and take in the view.
The vegetable garden is available to guests, offering fresh vegetables and fresh eggs.
Every aspect of this villa is meticulously attended to, down to the smallest detail, making it unique in both quality and location.
A vacation at the villa is sure to be relaxing, entertaining, and the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area.
