With much pleasure we helped organize several transfer services with our private drivers as well as wine tours for them, and communication was smooth and effortless throughout. Their little ones were absolute sweethearts, and the whole family was so pleasant to work with and they absolutely fell in love with Timignano. Hi Fabio, Thank you so much for your review! We truly appreciate your feedback: it’s extremely helpful for us as we're always striving to improve our guest experience. Following your suggestion, we’ve actually gone ahead and purchased a speaker! Regarding the patio umbrellas, as clearly stated in the house rules, they must be closed whenever it gets windy or when you leave the property for extended periods. They were certainly open upon your arrival because at every check-in, we welcome our guests with all the lights on, umbrellas open, and sun beds and cushions arranged to make the welcome as warm and inviting as possible. However, once we hand over the keys, guests are responsible for managing the home, which includes closing the umbrellas when leaving. As for the security deposit, we had mentioned that accepting cash in your own currency was completely fine—it didn't necessarily have to be in Euros. Unfortunately, we've learned the hard way that credit card pre-authorizations are not reliable for security deposits; in the past, credit card companies have unlocked the funds even when damage was clear, forcing us to cover the cost out of our own pockets. Currently, cash is the safest method for us, though as mentioned, we accept any currency to make things as convenient as possible for our guests. There was ongoing work in the surrounding area, and being out in the countryside, the repairs took longer than usual—especially with the scorching heat, which meant the crew could only work half-days.
