River Run Condo with Spacial Balcony overlooking Ice Rink & Mountain Views!

This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo sleeps 4 with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It features a private balcony with partial slope views. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Expedition Station offers shared amenities including a pool and a hot tub.

The entryway has a mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV mounted above a beautiful gas fireplace and a DVD player. There is a queen-sized sleeper sofa and additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. The private balcony is just off the main living area and overlooks Dercum Square that has an ice rink during the winter and a miniature golf course during the summer. To the south are partial slope views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware you need to cook a meal away from home and the dining area comfortably seats four. The guest bathroom is located just off of the living area and features a pedestal sink and a shower/tub combination. It is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. The bedroom features a king-sized bed and a mounted television.

*Please note the Expedition Station HOA will begin charging $8 a day for parking starting November 1st, 2025*

A ruined stay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the unit without functioning TV's, and no directions to operate. Worse yet, our unit was a construction zone from early AM on. Dust, noise and no way to keep windows open. I tried to complain but contact said they sent me a E-mail the day before arrival to tell me of the problems We would experience. I check every E-mail for the 48 hours prior to arrival and zero.

Solid Stay

pleasantly surprised. went in with hotel room thoughts, but was more of a BnB with appliances and extras. was clean and convenient. Also did realize it included heated garage parking. Will stay again.

Great central spot in Keystone

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is perfectly located and really great value for money. The building itself and the condo needs a few touch ups, so not a pristine place but plenty fine for a family of four and it’s hard to beat the location. Would definitely stay there again.

A trip away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about the condo and the resort. The only thing we did not like was the bed. It was very uncomfortable and we both up with back pain, hip pain and neck pain even prior to getting out on the mountain. Otherwise we enjoyed the whole trip.

Great Location with One Issue

This place was in an excellent location right off the mountain. Only reason I docked 1 star is because the bed was as hard as a rock. Needless to say I was not very well rested during my trip. Other than that great amenities, great price, great location, and clean.

Great location but a little disappointed

The place in general was ok but many of the shops, restaurants, and the gondola were closed. The bed was not comfortable and several amenities were not available like a BBQ grill, the hot tub was broken, and we had no internet or television for several of the days we were there. I liked the location being close to several interesting places to visit for day trips

Four weeks looking out the bedroom window

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A torn hamstring on day 2 of a month long stay has a way of negatively coloring a vacation. With that said, our stay at ES met all our expectations. The location is great. The unit was well laid out with a nice sized kitchen and large bedroom. The furniture was comfortable and new enough. It didn't negatively affect our experience, but we did find several things a bit out of character. The TVs have been upgraded to flat screens (the living room probably 15 years ago), but the old tube TVs are still in the unit taking up storage space in two large armores. WHY? There is what appears to be a nice set of knives. Unfortunately none of them actually cut except for one that is not part of the set. And lastly, for a complex of this size the hot tub is pretty small. Several times it was just not possible to use it because of the crowd.Overall, a good place to stay while exploring Keystone and Summit County.

Worst place ever stayed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived and it smelled like someone was cooking rice all day. Very strong smell. The pull out put was broken and wasn’t able to even sit on as a couch. It was half put away with the cushions just placed on top. Bathroom was dirty and the place was very well used. Very dissatisfied and would never rent again.

Enjoyed night skiing, the 5 minute walk to the lifts, under ground parking, the hot tub/heated pool and sauna, and walking to dinner. The room is plenty spacious for 2 or up to 4 people. The master king bed was nothing great. Would stay here again.

Great stay and location

Our stay was great. The check-in process was easy and the listing was true online as it was in person. The ONLY complaint is that the beds are so uncomfortable. After skiing and snowboarding all day, it would be nice to recoup on a comfortable mattress. Other than that, we were happy with the stay!

Just as described

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was as described. The uncovered balcony had so much snow that my toddler and I didn't have to go downstairs to play. Very close to really good restaurants and the lift. The only downside was the remote batteries in the living room needed to be replaced and the condo didn't have those type of batteries to replace. And our last night the WiFi wouldn't connect so we couldn't watch the smart TV in the bedroom. Otherwise great stay.

Value for money: In comparison to other places this was substantially cheaper without a sacrifice in amenities/quality.2. Location: 3-5 minute walk to the river run gondola. Very convenient. 3. Amenities: Excellent amenities both at the apartment but also at the complex (jacuzzi, heated swimming pool, landry, etc.). 4. Check in: Overall the best check in guide and process I have ever experienced. The guide is super detailed, covering all possible questions. Highly recommended!

Great stay in Keystone

The property was very clean, had a great balcony, and the communication with the property manager was everything you would expect. Shared amenities are nice as well.

Everything you need for a weekend away

Pool, hot tub and fitness center could use some work but they did the job. The patio was being remodeled so there was no furniture out there and it was connected to the next door unit so we couldn't enjoy the nice day outside but other than that, it was an enjoyable stay with all the amenities you would need for a few nights away!

One night was enough

We went to the patio opened the wood blinds only to have them come down on my head. The brackets were bent from previous falls and only being attached to wall with one screw. Once we got them reinstalled we found caution tape on the door, the screen on the ground and the patio under construction. The toilet worked intermittently and the light in the bathroom is coming off the ceiling. Condo needs work, couch and chair are very worn. It would have been nice to know patio was under construction. One night was plenty.

Spring Break in Keystone!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 8581 Expedition Station turned out to be a great little condo in the River Run Village. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was myself and 2 teenage boys. I got the queen sized bed in the bedroom and they shared the pull out couch, which worked out great. The kitchen was well equipped enough to cook dinners. We used the hot tub and pool after our days on the mountain. I would recommend this condo for parties of 4 or less people.

Need updating

The couch and arm chair need to be replaced. Both are very uncomfortable, worn out. The cooking utensils should be reviewed and replace items that are missing or worn out.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was awesome, amount of daylight was awesome, and was the perfect getaway for a midweek vacation. However, the furniture was a bit dated and the blinds over the deck doors fell down more than once when being opened. The chair had a sunken arm and the couch pillows were showing signs of regular wear and tear. The bed in the bedroom was a little outdated too. Basically all the furniture could use an update.

Great location

Garage parking a big plus. The unit is located across the from the ice skating rink, and the Keystone village. Unit was as described. I agree with other guests, the place could use a couch, chair, and blinds upgrade. Just a bit uncomfortable for relaxing after a long day on the slopes.
