This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, top floor condo sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. It features vaulted ceilings throughout and a private balcony with beautiful slope views. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're walking distance to the high-speed gondola. Red Hawk Lodge offers shared amenities including an outdoor pool and two hot tubs.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area has vaulted ceilings, a flat screen TV mounted above a beautiful gas fireplace, and a sleeper sofa. Additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. The homeowner has also provided books for your enjoyment. Just off the living area is access to the private balcony. Take in the mountain views while enjoying a cup of coffee and watch the skiers on River Run.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and the dining area comfortably seats four. The bathroom is located just off of the living area and features a pedestal sink and shower/tub combination. The bathroom is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. The bedroom features vaulted ceilings, a skylight, a queen-sized bed, a flat screen TV, and beautiful views.

Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 24 years old at the time of booking.

All check-in details, including the door code, are sent directly via text message prior to arrival for clarity and consistency. The door code is also automatically delivered via email through our secure system, so guests typically receive the same information in both places. Our goal is to make access as straightforward as possible, so we’re not entirely sure where the disconnect may have occurred in this case. That said, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will continue looking for ways to streamline communication even further.

Close to River Run

Thank you for your feedback. I was able to investigate this and our staff was alerted of low heat on 1/28 and confirmed after arriving to the unit that everything was working as designed. However, to keep the guests comfortable we dropped off a few space hearts to help combat the negative temps were recently experienced. I was not able to find that water pressure was reported to our staff. Now that we are aware of this we will have our staff investigate this claim and get any items repaired that may be needed. We had provided sleeper sofa sheets but they often go overlooked. They are stored in a plastic baggie in the closet. If this guest was unable to find those sheets they should have called us directly for assistance. We apologize for the negative experience and wish we would have been able to help.

At our company, we take upkeep and cleanliness very seriously, and your room should always feel fresh and clean. Our staff generally does a great job when it comes to maintaining our facility and preparing the rooms for upcoming guests, so it is strange that this happened. Had we been notified of these housekeeping and maintenance issues during your stay, we would have happily addressed them. We only provide the initial supply of shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, etc. Any additional supplies are to be purchased by the guest. We would love it if you would come back to stay with us again – we have no doubt that the next time you would have the wonderful experience that the vast majority of our guests have.

Condo was nice, I had problem with heating and after 2 days it was fixed , first night stop working, then heat start wirking on it's own, but would not turn off ,they send somone to fix it but could not fix it ,so fist night was cold ,second night was to hot , finally 3th night second technician came and fix it . Other then that everyone was good.

Great location

This unit is a 2 minutes walk to the Gondola, making this the ideal location for someone wearing ski boots! The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed is comfortable, and there is enough living area for at least 2 people.The check-in/out process was easy, the management company has done a great job in timely communicating with me throughout the entire rental process - confirmation, billing, check-in/out, and proactively soliciting feedback. I would encourage if rental units are available and ready, offer the free early check-in rather than charge 15 per hour. I rented 5 places in 5 different resorts this January in Colorado, and this is the one company charging for early check-in.

Great location good value

The property is clean and a short walk to restaurants, shops, and by the bike path A good value for the price. There is a skylight in the bedroom which makes for an early morning. We knew there was no air conditioning (most condo’s do not have A/C) but the unit gets afternoon sun and not enough crosswind. The unit doesn’t cool off at night and you must use several fans that they provide. We stayed when it was warm for that area low 80’s.

Overall the small condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed as far as kitchen needs! Hiwever its a bit dated......the feather deco throw pillows looked as if they might start to fly or quack! Both tv's really need ti be uograded as by tidays standards they are very very small. Other than that, everything was great!

Its location is the the main benefit of getting this; the apartment is a bit dated but it's clean and functional; if it were remodeled/renewed the price would reflect that. Keep it the way it is (including price wise 🙂) and we'll be back next year.

This is the perfect place for a ski trip! First time in a ski-in/ski-out and honestly felt so spoiled to be able to snowboard in such a short walk and zero hassle. The property itself was very quaint. The only “negative” thing I would say is that considering their property office was in a different location, I wished they stocked up on standard toiletries like shampoo and conditioner in the unit. Like it’s not that difficult to account for how many days and how many guests are staying ahead of time. They did offer for us to pick up extra in their office, it was just unfortunate that we shuttled here and had no vehicle to pick it up with. But still, the place was perfect!

Head to toe, complete update of the entire unit needed, including TV’s! It’s not 1999 anymore. Needs new mattress, bathroom curtain/rugs, more than two mismatched wine glasses, how about a Keurig?

Great location and property

This unit was very nice with plenty of space, high ceilings, and nice amenities like underground parking, hot tub, and ski lockers, plus very close to the gondola. Unfortunately I had to take away one star due to the unit not coming with bath towels, blankets, and enough linens for the 2 beds. This wouldn't have been an issue if housekeeping would've actually been able to bring these items, but I had to actually leave the property to go drive to the management office to pick everything up myself. Also as a heads up, there are reservations required for use of the pool and hot tub. We weren't told about this prior to booking, and as a result there were no open time slots during our stay.

Food stains on the counters and coffee table and two pillows on the couch were covered in dirt and what looked like pet hair. And it had an off putting smell as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time.

Ok but can be better

You have to pick up welcome package and the physical key to the apartment in a separate location and then drive to your apartment. Very inconvenient after 9+ hours of travel time from our home state. Not something we wanted to do after such a long trip.Apartment itself is ok, not amazing but decent. As for check out, they ask you to remove trash and start a dishwasher despite the fact that we paid for cleaning at the time of booking. We paid cleaning fee so that professional cleaners can take care of this instead.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a honest and detailed review. We do apologize that the check in procedure was not the most convenient for you. However, this is standard in the area we operate in as the lodge does not have a front desk. Our office is located before you reach the Red Hawk Lodge, so at least you are already heading the right direction. We do also send check in instructions to guest prior to check in date so they can familiarize themselves with the check in and check out procedures.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, top floor condo until check out when elevator was out of order. Had to navigate through hallways/stairwells with two separate loads of luggage to garage instead of relaxing by the pool that morning. Extremely frustrating. Nice mattress, pillows and newish comforter but there was no top sheet. Next morning discovered top sheet was bunched up under covers at foot of bed. Messed up bed NOT OK. Fairly spacious kitchen, but toaster had exposed wires out of slots which was extremely dangerous. Dirty, frayed carpet remnant at kitchen sink was disgusting and should be thrown out. Decor was a bit outdated. It’s Keystone, so how about some ski posters or mountain/lodge decor?! Beautiful pool/fitness area with two hot tubs, but the jets were not working in one of the hot tubs. 4:30 p.m. check in time was somewhat late and also 10:00 a.m. check out time was fairly early based on stays at other properties.

Thank you for your review and feedback! We are happy to report that this elevator is back up and running as well as there is a second elevator i. this building guests can utilize if one does go down, we will also be sure to follow up with our housekeeping team on your other concerns!
