3 Bedrooms/ 2.5 Baths: 3 Queen beds, 1 Twin bunk bed. Enjoy this cozy home located near everything but separate enough to offer you a private oasis! Plenty of room to entertain in the chef's kitchen, formal dining room and sun room. Or step outside and enjoy the large deck and sitting area with a gas grill and private seasonal pool. Located a short drive or bike ride to the beach, grocery store, or all the shopping and restaurants OKI has to offer.

TVs, cable and wireless internet access. Outdoor shower, 2 bicycles and 2 kayaks also available for use.

Perfect Beach Rental

House was clean, well furnished. Golf cart ride to beach. Great pool and back yard. Return guest. Great rental home. Great beach town.

Delightful home away from home

We loved everything about this property. It was immaculate and beautifully appointed. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the yard and pool were a peaceful oasis.

Fantastic

We had a fantastic stay in Oak Island. Property was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was a big hit in the evenings for the kids. We will definitely be booking Mermaid’s Landing for our next stay in OKI!

Backyard oasis

The backyard has beautiful landscaping and a salt water pool that was the perfect location for.a relaxing family gathering after a day at the beach. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. The host was responsive to all our needs. We loved our stay here!

Perfect location

Great location. Great home layout. Great pool. Most well equipped kitchen. Felt like we were staying in someone’s home, not a rental. We had everything we needed to have a great vacation. Recommend highly.

Our favorite beach rental so far!

This house was the perfect place for our family of 5. The house has a fun personality, is very spacious, and is full of amenities. The pool provides a lot of entertainment and comes fully equipped with floats, toys, and towels. Our dog loved the pet friendly front porch and fenced in backyard. The drive to the beach is very short, and there is ample parking. This place has it all and we highly recommend!

Week at the beach

The house was perfect for our vacation. We used the pool and all the toys as well as the beach. Everything was as described in the listing! I would recommend this property.

The house had everything we could have ask for. Everyone enjoyed the backyard extras and the pool. It was close to everything that we went down to do, just a hop and a skip down the road on the golf cart. We will definitely stay again😁

Mermaids Landing is Wonderful

I’ve been vacationing on the island for more than 20 years, and this was by far the most wonderful experience. Pictures simply don’t do justice to how beautiful this property truly is. We never felt like we were in a rental, but rather a home. Couple that with the fact that the owners were perfect to deal with, and you won’t find a better vacation experience in Oak Island.

Mermaid heaven

This property was easy to locate. Upon entry it was spotless clean. The decor is beautiful yet cozy. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The bedrooms were nice as well as bathrooms. The saltwater pool was relaxing and fenced in yard a plus since we had dogs. The only sad part was the non usable firepit that should be taken off amenities. Overall excellent home worth the price and the host is a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely stay again.

Fun times as always

This is our second year here and it will not be our last. All the amenities you have at home are available at this house. There is no need to bring any bedding, beach chairs, coolers, bikes, beach towels, etc.

Our new favorite Oak Island rental

This house is beautiful, stylish, and has everything we needed for a fun long weekend. The pool was perfect for the kids, and the bikes and kayaks that were on site gave them lots of options. The house was closer to the beach than we anticipated - an easy walk or golf cart ride. Liz was very easy to work with and quickly responded with a solution when we realized late after arriving that the linens had not been delivered. We can’t wait to return!

Fantastic property

Our first time in Oak Island and definitely won't be our last. Mermaid’s Landing is a great place to stay. Although we mostly got rained out due to a tropical storm, we still had a great vacation at Liz and Andy's place. House is very well kept, spotlessly clean, and missing nothing. Pool was and deck were very nice, as was everything else in the house. We decided to leave early due to the storm and Liz refunded us a night's stay - completely unnecessary, but above and beyond appreciated.

Perfect Getaway

We highly recommend staying here! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable and pool was a big hit with the family. They supplied the beach chairs, umbrellas and pool toys for the kids. We played Corn hole which was fun for the older kids and the adults. They worked hard to make the house a home getaway. We rented a golf cart and it was a quick trip to the beach. The restaurants in the area were great and our two favorite were Island Way and Pepperoni Grill. Liz was very responsive to our needs. There’s plenty of parking at the beach!

Great house

My family and I loved staying at this house. There was enough space for us our children and it was nice knowing that the linens were professionally cleabed. We loved being able to ride bikes but of course our favorite part was the pool. My daughter faced her fear of jumping in during this vacation. Thanks for a great property!

Great way to unplug

My husband and I were looking to get away for a week and just relax and this property really came through! We were able to bring our little dog with us which made the trip even more enjoyable. It was a quick drive to the beach and centrally located so access to everything was at the tips of our fingers. Liz was amazing to work with! Will definitely be back.

Beautiful and Convenient

I want to tell you not to reserve this property so that it is readily available for me to reserve again. This house was beautiful, well preserved, convenient, clean, efficient and in a great location. For a property that allows dogs, you could not even tell as there was no evidence that a dog was ever on the property. We were fairly close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. When the beach got to crowded we would come back to the house to hang out by the pool. The kitchen came fully stocked, which was great because we cooked locally sourced seafood. (seafood recommendations were provided!) The owners truly care about this property and because of this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

OKI Family Vacation 2022

We had a wonderful stay in Oak Island. The hosts were so helpful providing information for things to do in the area and top rated restaurants. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our week. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful home with everything you could possibly need. All bedrooms are upstairs. Great fenced in back yard with pool . Amazing master bath with rain shower. Everything about the outdoor space was inviting and wonderful !

Perfect for what we needed

Having the ocean nearby was great but we were glad to have the pool. With two little ones the pool was key to staying cool in the heat! Liz was great, very responsive to messages.
