The Space:

Walk through the front door and you're greeted with the comfortable and homey feel of the farmhouse-style beach house! Soothing cool colors and decor make this place relaxing, so you can unwind. It has a well-equipped kitchen. Gorgeous gray granite counters and a captivating chandelier above the kitchen island with more seating steal the show. This open-concept kitchen and living room serve perfectly for those evening meals you'll cook together as you watch a movie or play board games. There is a stacked washer and dryer off to the side, so you wont worry about wet towels and sandy swimsuits.



Two bedrooms are located on each side of the house, combined with Jack and Jill bathrooms. No bedroom is decorated the same, and you'll admire the thought put into each one. All bedrooms besides the master have additional seating so you an bury your nose in a book before bed, but don't worry-wireless internet access is included. There is a large television mounted in the living room. Other televisions are wall-mounted in both bunk bedrooms. The bunk room with a standard twin over twin bunk bed also contains a twin trundle for extra sleeping space.



The vacation rental welcomes one well-behaved and house-trained dog, weighing 35 lbs or less, per reservation year-round. For the courtesy of all of our guests, our house rules are that dog is not allowed on the furniture or beds, must be flea and tick free, is healthy and up to date on shots. The dog is not allowed in the swimming pool and must be nonaggressive and friendly (as service personnel may be onsite for lawncare/pool/cleaning/exterminating etc). We know your dog is part of your family and want them to feel welcome too, but we also want others to enjoy the clean and comfortable feeling of our house! Please note that no cats are allowed, as the owners are allergic.



The fenced-in outdoor oasis is highlighted with an inground saltwater pool and a jetted seating area. Heating is even available upon request for those chillier evenings. Plenty of space for sunning in the loungers by the pool. Enjoy dining and socializing under the sunshade by day and carnival lights by night. There is also a spacious grassy play area for games! On the front of the house, there's a screened-in porch with comfortable seating and a cafe table to enjoy your morning coffee, listen to the ocean and smell the salt air. Bikes are also available! Exact count is subject to change, but it is usually around 4 adult bikes, and 2 kid bikes. There is beach gear you are welcome to use, around 6 chairs and 1 beach cart, but the exact number and condition may vary.



Guest should note that an additional pool heating fee is required for each day a guest request pool heating ($100/day or $500/week). Guest must request the pool heating and pay for the fee by contacting the office at BookSmart during normal business hours at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Pool heating is only available when temperatures are 55 degrees Fahrenheit and warmer.



This single-level home is a wonderful place to relax, with a backyard that feels like a little paradise. The main bedroom has a comfy queen-size bed. The second bedroom is great for kids, with twin bunk beds. The third bedroom also has a queen-size bed, and the fourth bedroom has a twin over double bunk bed. You can enjoy meals outside and take a dip in the refreshing saltwater pool.



Guest Access:

Detailed check-in instructions and a unique access code will be provided prior to arrival.



**Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 25 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 25. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**



**1 dog that is under 35 lbs is welcome for a pet fee of $150** Any second dog would have to be approved by owner.



The home is stocked with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay. Linens and towels are provided at no additional charge.



The Neighborhood:

Oak Island is a beach town that is separated from the mainland by the Intracoastal Waterway. Known primarily as a family beach town, it offers plenty of activities throughout the summer, including a variety of marathons/5Ks, live music, farmers markets, and more. The Intracoastal Waterway is popular for kayakers and fishing, and the town has plenty of golf courses, nature walks and biking for those who like to stay on land.

Other Things to Note:

Payment schedule: 50% at time of booking, 50% or remaining balance due 30 days before arrival.



The following violations may be subject to additional fines up to $300: unregistered pets, pets that are outside the house limitations, late departure without approval by host, & house left excessively messy.



High speed Wifi is an amenity that is provided at the property but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues that are beyond our control. Potential Wifi outages will always be handled in a timely manner and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed that our solutions will fix the issue and refunds will not be given for Wifi malfunctions.
