This condo is also just steps from the beach!

This vacation rental is within walking distance of several restaurants ranging from family-friendly breakfasts at the Pancakery and excellent Italian fare from Mimmo's Ristorante Italiano. Explore the 208-acres of Henderson Beach State Park where you can hike the nature trail, photograph native wildlife, fish, or relax on the beach. And for those looking to hit the links, the Indian Bayou Golf & Country Club is just a little over a mile north of this rental.

Beach service is not included. A beach service vendor sits on the beach, and guests that wish to rent from the vendor must go out to the hut and pay them.
This unit has a max occupancy, including children. These are rules set by the State of Florida and the State of Florida Fire Codes. The Fire Codes go by square footage and not the beds in a unit. If you arrive with more than the max occupancy listed, the HOA will not allow you to check-in and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) we absolutely loved our stay here. The only issue we had was a couple of large grasshoppers and 1 big roach was found roaming in the bedrooms. If they spray for those, it would have been the most perfect experience

Great location, ocean front view is unbeatable. Was able to watch dolphins swim in the morning (just look out for them). Private beach access is just right downstairs which is a huge plus. Tons of activities around that are also kids friendly.

A comfortable, safe place for our family vacation!

This condo was comfortable for our family of 6. We did bring a mattress topper for the sofa bed so I cannot speak to the actual mattress there but universally they are not usually very comfortable so the topper helped! The unit was overall clean. The location was convenient to things both directions and the view spectacular! We would stay here again for sure.

Good for any and all.

Great place to stay. Great view. Easy access to beach. Would highly recommend. Good for any and all ages. Only dislike was filling out some online form & paying for parking passes (not a huge issue). Just would think that would already be included in your condo price.

Beautiful Condo

Very nice condo. Adorned with mirrored walls, this condo was perfectly decorated in seaside theme. It had all we needed for cooking & keeping up with the cleaning that needed done in between house keeping. Came with a garage parking space. Would definitely recommend. Beautiful ocean front view.

The location was great and all in all it was great! The queen bed in 2nd bedroom was terrible! Ended up sleeping on couch which didnā€™t make us happy! Condo itself was great, beautiful view.. everything was provided and other than the queen bed we had a great visit!

Beautiful condo until you start looking closely. All of the furniture is cheap/old/broken. The air conditioner DOES NOT WORK. We had to be relocated to a different condo because the thermostat never got below 78 degrees. BEWARE before you book this condo. Also, if you have any issues, Vacasa will give you the run around & transfer you to multiple international customer service agents until you get upset enough to begin losing your mind. That, combined with the heat from the broken A/C is enough to ruin your entire vacation. Also, being relocated means being put in a completely mold filled much smaller, much less nice condominium. Thank you Vacasa, we will literally NEVER book with you again. Worst experience I have ever had.

Best Condo yet

We have stayed at Sterling Sands many times. This visit, we had the best condo yet! Updated, very clean, and very quiet. The only complaint we have is that we were told we would have access to pool and beach before check-in at 4. We were told by Vacasa rep that our packet with our bracelets and info to get in pool/ beach would be in office. I specifically ask when I called if office would be unlocked because it normally isnā€™t and I have never seen anyone working in office previously. The office was locked. However, due to the helpful security guard ,who checked the locked office for our packet, which was not there, allowed us access. She was so helpful and kind! Thank you to Kayla!! She is a true example of good customer service!!

Not very happy

The staff was rude to the customers at the beach. There was NO signage saying that we had a Curfew at the beach or we would get chained and locked out of the Condo...ā€¦ā€¦. No Security on site to help us. Unfortunately my 63 year old husband and I had to climb over the pool fence to find out that we were chained and locked inside too. We had to climb back over the 6 ft fence to the other side to find that the side entrance out of the condo was unlocked. I was very upset that one side of the building was chained and locked and all 3 entrances to the pool were chained and locked. I understand that the pool must stay locked and close at a certain hour. But if you are at the beach looking for Crabs and want to go to bed and you can't get to your room that is a PROBLEM.

Has potential but I would not recommend

The location is amazing, but overall our stay wasnt great unfortunately. The condo was dirty upon arrival and looked like it had not been cleaned. I contacted the Vasca property manager number multiple times our first day, they did nothing about our concerns for over 3 days. Additionally, at the same time I was being contacted multiple times while on the beach because apparently they were going to replace our fridge in the middle of our stay for unknown reasons. When I asked what we should do with our fridge full of cold and frozen food, they suggested we put it in the new fridge that was warm. The property has great potential, but the management is extremely poor and it is clear nobody takes pride in it. I did ask to speak with the owner of the property & that request was declined. I would not recommend staying here. Spend your money elsewhere that isnt being managed by vasca. ** After our trip we were refunded the cleaning fee we paid of $160 when I sent Vasca photos of the condition the condo was in.

Beach Stay

Overall impression was the property seemed clean and fairly well taken care of. It was considerably older than I would have thought it was by looking at the pictures. Also the check in and everything was somewhat confusing with having to deal with 4 different companies. I would have thought there were more amenities by the listing and the other reviews.

Absolutely Amazing Vacation Spot

Loved Loved this place. Amazing view of the ocean/condo pool which allowed me to keep an eye on my boys while they were out. Right at the heart of all the restaurants, stores, kids arcade/games. The place itself was very comfy and cozy. No complaints at all. Couldn't have asked for a better place. I will highly recommend this spot to all my family and friends that wish to visit Destin.

The condo itself was perfect!! The location ,close to the elevator was great. We stepped out our door and there was the elevator. The view was amazing also. This is a small complex, therefore not a lot of people. I would Definitely stay here again!!!šŸ˜Ž

Great for families with teenagers!

This was perfect for our family! Our teenaged kids were able to go to the souvenir shops, play mini golf, ride go karts, and eat where they wanted which meant we could relax and do what we wanted without driving all over Destin. We had direct beach access and a great view. The only suggestions is adding black out curtains to the master bedroom and a Keurig (thankfully I brought mine). Overall I would stay here again!
