Sterling Shores is under renovation for a beautification project in which they are working on all balconies and walkways to the condos. Due to this beautification process, one pool closest to the building may close in November very briefly. No other amenities will be affected. Renovations are currently in progress Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The renovation is set to be finished by 1/29/2026. If bad weather interferes with the beautification process, renovations could continue into February. If there are any updates, I will let you know. We have blocked down the units that are primarily affected by this construction. June-Labor Day is painting the exterior and should not cause much of a disturbance. After Labor Day, you may experience floor grinding noise and dust. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and we hope you enjoy your stay!

THINGS TO KNOW
Construction is 8-5, 7 days a week. Beginning Monday, October 20, 2025, the Lagoon Pool will be closed for approximately 3 weeks to have it resurfaced. We are hopeful to have it back up and running by November 10, 2025.Full kitchen w/dishwasherFree WiFiParking on-site (Parking Passes included), Non-smoking property.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Overall, this is a beautiful unit and stunning views. I think any other time of year, we would have loved this resort. During our stay, the construction was horrible. We were warned of the construction before hand and told we would not have access to our balcony, so we expected that. But during our stay, construction started before 8am each day. There was banging and all kinds of noise. On the last two days, they were actually working directly on our balcony before 8 AM. It really disrupted our stay and was hard to enjoy the big family area with work and construction happening right there. Plus, on the last afternoon/night we were there, they were working on our balcony and the smell that came into our unit was horrible. I have two young children and Iā€™m also eight months pregnant and we had to leave the room because of how strong the fumes were. We could not eat dinner in the unit. Once we returned, the workers were gone, but the smell was still horrible. We had to leave our front door open for well over an hour just to make it bearable. I almost couldnā€™t even sleep there the smell was so strong. We were unable to open the balcony door to let the air out because it is locked. During all these times, I reached out to the customer service team, and they did nothing about it. I was very unhappy with the way our trip went and the way we were treated.

Gorgeous Condo!

The condo is really stunning and great, my girls really enjoyed it. The view to the ocean was amazing, the size of the patio is huge!, rooms are of good size, the decoration of the condo is on point, the ease of getting in and out of room/access to pools/beach was great!

Disappointed for THE COST!

We stayed here in 2018 and returned recently, although for the cost we will not return for a third trip. There were no beach chairs, coolers or towels. The owners guide printed ten dollar chair rental, but the cost was seventy dollars for two chairs for one day. There was not enough toilet paper or paper towels in stock. There was no liquid dish soap or clothes available to wash dishes.

All over it was an great stay. Kitchen supplies need to be updated. Skillets were old. The water did not stay hot, we had to take turns waiting for the water to get hot.

The view was amazing! Easy access to the beach and pools. Good location to activities and restaurants. We had some issues with one of the air conditioners working properly. This unit is close to an elevator and it made sounds that could be heard throughout the condo.

At 1900 square feet, 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms, it was like bringing our whole home on vacation with us to the beach with a giant center balcony view of the Gulf. There are even two separate AC units for the front and back of the place. Having a washer and dryer was key to not having to over pack. The kitchen it fully furnished with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, everything if you want to stock the fridge and cook. There is a giant WalMart right up the road. Having the private beach next to the Back Porch restaurant was key also. We would stay in the same exact place again.

Wonderful Family Vacay!!

The penthouse was gorgeous!! It was a perfect size for our family. The balcony was my favorite part with stunning view of the ocean!! The only hiccup was at check in when we arrived, the gate code given to us did not work. Luckily the mailman let us in and then another guest offered us the gate code. Everything else was a dream!!! Thank you so much!!

Loved this place!

This was a great stay for my family and I and some of our friends. The location to the beach was great and the pool was heated so we enjoyed it during the spring break. Would definitely stay here again.

Washer/Dryer issues - otherwise beautiful condo

Beautiful condo and amazing views. The oversized balcony was fantastic. The washing machine was not able to spin and the dryer took multiple cycles to dry. This was reported to the property manager like those before us. According to Vacasa, the washing machine is not repairable and they are waiting on the owner to approve a new one. I would suggest looking into this prior to renting if this is an important amenity for you. Other than the appliances, we had a fantastic stay.

Washer and dryer

Everything wouldā€™ve been perfect if wasnā€™t for the washer and dryer not working properly, washer wouldnā€™t do the spin cycle and would have a bunch of water after it was ā€œdoneā€ washing, dryer would take a couple cycles for it to dry properly; and no it didnā€™t had a big load. Other than that the PH is perfect, beautiful view to the ocean and had all amenities close by. 10/10 would come back

Not like it used to be

This place is in desperate need of a makeover. Balcony and bathroom doors do not lock, toilet paper holder broke, shower head in main bathroom not fully functionable, washer bad, freezer doesnā€™t open right, various bulbs out throughout. For the ā€œpenthouseā€ price felt more like the Motel 6 experience. Will not be back.
