Papa's Place Cashiers N.C., Great Family Retreat

Located in Cashiers, NC, this home has 4 bedrooms 3 and 1/2 baths that sleeps 12. Conveniently located 4 miles from Cashiers city center with beautiful mountain/lake views and spacious floor plan.  Enjoy a large patio to have dinner on, grill out, or just relax and take in the view.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.

Enjoy fiber optic internet while you work or stream.  Makes working in a beautiful location all that more desirable.

Hiking trails are in the neighborhood and there are trails all around that you can enjoy.  Also, lake Glenville is a public lake and has a marina you can rent boats and other items for water activities.  Sapphire Valley is only a short 15-minute ride away as well.  They also have a great ski area for winter activities.

We hope you enjoy your stay and relax in this very special house.



**To keep up with proper cleaning, any stay over 13 nights will be required to pay an additional cleaning fee for a mid-stay cleaning. **

Our family had such a wonderful time at this beautiful mountain home! Mandi was an excellent host and responded immediately whenever we needed something or had a question. The location is great - very close to downtown Cashiers and 25 minute drive to Highlands! We will be back!

Great mountain house!

The house was comfortable and clean! We were there for a wedding and the location was great! Trilium Village is a lovely community!

Lovely location. Gracious hosts. Property gives you room to spread out and enjoy awesome views. The hosts provide everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Great weekend stay

Our family of 12 loved this house. The view from the back porch was beautiful. Living room is on one side of house so the kids can sleep without being disturbed by the adults staying up later.

Perfect!

Papa's place was perfect for our girl's trip. The weather permitted us to really enjoy the back porch when we got back from all our shopping trips. This is our new favorite getaway house!

The coziest cottage!

We had the best time at this house! The views were incredible and we loved walking around the neighborhood! We felt so safe and so cozy in the home. There was plenty of space/beds and the living room was great for entertainment! Looking forward to coming back!

Better than the pictures

Pictures did not do this place justice! We greatly enjoyed our weekend. House was more than accomodating for (2) families of 4. Great view of the lake and surrounding mountians.

Thanksgiving traditions

We enjoyed our stay at Papa’s place; the location being closer to Cashiers than other parts of Trillium was greatly appreciated. Two families plus Grandma were accommodated comfortably. We just kept an eye on her for the stairs but she safely made it through the weekend. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great home for larger groups

We love Trillium and wanted to find two homes near each other over Christmas for my husband’s family and mine to get together. Papa’s place has the perfect open great room for larger groups. Would not recommend for older guests as there are stairs throughout the property. Beautiful location that worked well for our group of 10!

Beautiful mountain home

I rented this house for my husband and myself, my adult daughter with her husband and their 3 small children and 2 friends of ours from SC. The layout of the house was perfect and the separation of all the bedrooms gave us each great privacy. The living area and kitchen were spacious, comfy and well equipped. The location and proximity to Cashiers restaurants and shopping were just right. I would rent again!

Refuge from the storm

The house was very comfortable for our group of 6 adults. We each had a bedroom with one extra. Each couple had their own bath which is a plus. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining room is a good size to have meals and play games. Also close to town is a plus. Our timing was bad due to Hurricane Helene decided to hit halfway through our stay. We were safe and the owners were keeping in touch (until internet/power went off). They are delightful and if anyone would have an issue, they are very easy to work with and help. I give the house and experience 5 stars.

Cashiers Groom House

With a house that sleeps 12 and with advanced notice that 7 adults would be staying we were never told that only 3 parking spaces were available until the 48 hour email was sent. The online description just said parking. So we had to spend an enormous amount of time shuffling cars to different locations to avoid towing or fines. Even when I asked for suggestions none were given just a repeat message saying there were only 3 spaces. This caused us to be late for at least one event and instead of enjoying time with family and f ones we were moving cars. In the online description it should be noted that 3 spaces are available for parking.

Our Family Trip to NC for a Wedding

My wife and I decided to rent a home close to the wedding venue in Cashiers, NC. We wanted to be together with our three (3) adult sons and their spouses. The 4 bedroom house proved to be a great location for our family. The only issue we found was the bathtub in the Master Bedroom. The water valves did open or close as easily as they should. In addition, the glass doors on the tub were difficult to open or close. If we owned the home, the only modification we'd make would be to replace the tub with a walk-in shower. Since adults would be using the master bedroom, it would make taking a shower much easier and safer than having to climb into a tub. Everything else in the house was just about perfect.

Great place for a getaway in the mountains

We were a group of 7 friends in town for a wedding and this house was a perfect place for us to gather. We loved sitting out on the deck and taking in the views. Great entertaining space and plenty of beds to accommodate a group of our size. We would definitely stay here again.
