Lakefront Cottage with a Wonderful View, Wifi, Linens and Golf Cart

Welcome to Palmetto Paradise.....

Our price includes WIFI, sheets for all bedrooms, bath towels and a wonderful lake view and use of the golf cart. Use of the golf cart is considered a courtesy. We will not replace or pay for a rental cart if our golf cart malfunctions. We will do our very best to get it repaired and returned quickly, but there will be NO REPLACEMENT. The use of the golf cart is limited to only licensed drivers to use only on OSV property.

NOTE: We only accept weekly rentals. NO MONTHLY RENTALS!

Is your family looking for a relaxing place to have a wonderful vacation? Our beautiful cottage is located in Oceanside Village which is a private gated community with 24 hour security, lakes, pools, and a park.

We have a deck and patio which overlooks the lake. There is a relaxing backyard where you can enjoy a quiet afternoon or wet your hook and fish.

Our master bedroom has a king-size bed and adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed and futon. The additional bath has a full bathtub. There is also a large living and dining area. Our kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. All appliances, dishes, and cookware are new. We have a laundry room with a washer and dryer. We also have wireless internet.

There is a carport with parking for 2 cars. We only rent to FAMILIES who are 25 years of age or older and there is an ABSOLUTE LIMIT of 7 people and 2 CARS. If you have a third car, there is overflow parking at the recreation center. Please do not park in the neighbors driveway or on the grass.

You will need to bring your beach chairs and beach towels. We only provide linens and bath towels. The house is non-smoking but we allow smoking in outside areas. No pets. Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 11:00 am.

Limit of 2 cars and 7 people. If you have a third car park it at the community center. All cars must be registered 72 hours in advance of your stay.

Send car info as a message on VRBO as soon as you book. That way I can go ahead and register you. HOA has strict 72 hour in advance registration rule.

This was our third consecutive time staying for spring bike week. Cleanliness, communication is always first class. The location is perfect for the pool, beach, or anything amenities there. Will definitely be back!!

The house and location were amazing! The owners were very friendly and respectful. Responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. House was well stocked. Outdoor seating was our favorite part! 5 out of 5 stars.

Excellent Place for Family Vacation

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. This home is beautiful and spacious. We really enjoyed the view of the lake as well. It was nice being to close to the pool and the beach. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would recommend this home to anyone looking to book a vacation.

Family Vacation

This home is absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean and spacious. Love the location being by the lake. The ducks and geese were very relaxing to watch. The home is very open and inviting. We cooked meals at home often as the grill was such an added bonus. The outdoor pool and the beach were lots of fun to go to. Super close to all kinds of shopping and activities. We absolutely loved our stay.

Good stay

My only complaint is that the house had only be minimally been cleaned. Kitchen island had sand on it, stove top was smeared,bathroom rugs were dirty & bedroom furniture had a lot of dust on them. Nothing we couldn’t take of ourselves or worth contacting the owners for. We’d definitely stay there again.

Great property

Property was great. Ended up only being 3 of us so had more than enough room. Was great enjoying coffee out on the deck in the mornings. Close location to stores, restaurants, and the beach. Was sad to have to cut the trip short. Would love to stay again the next time I am in town.

Family Vacation

Overall it was a great place to stay, decently clean for the age of the property. Loved having the golf cart, our kids rode there bikes theoughout the neighborhood all week. They also enjoyed feeding the turtles off the deck. Plenty enough space inside, however the driveway is a bit tight for 2 vehicles. I would rent again in the future our only couple downsides would be the icemaker, didnt like having to use ice trays, also the golf cart has a sweet spot to get reverse to work properly.

Short Bike Weekend

Very nice and spacious!! Much larger than other places that we have rented in Oceanside with similar price. Had a little issue on arrival but the host was very responsive to the issue and took care of it very quickly!! Short drive to many resturants. It's was a guys trip for the first weekend of bike week, so we didn't use the grill or kitchen, but there were plenty of things for you to cook with. Would definately stay again!!

Family vacation

We arrived to a home that had not been cleaned. Called Sylvia and she got back to us and had someone there within an hour. They did their job but the place is in need of some updates and a good deep cleaning. The grill is in pretty rough shape but was usable with some foil. It was nice to find a place in OSV that we didnt need to rent for a full week.

Long weekend get away

The house is cute and has a pond in the back for fishing or watching the ducks/swans. Was a nice feature. The layout was nice as well. Home is located near many places to eat or go to. The downfall was the cleanliness. Upon arrival the trash cans were in the parking area. Plants knocked over with dirt everywhere in seating area outside under the carport. The back area needed straightening up as well. Inside, the bathroom had a towel still hanging on the back of the door and used soap in the shower. Makes you wonder if it was cleaned in between uses. Someones shoes were sitting out on the dresser. The coffee maker in the kitchen was put away without throwing out the used filter which had become moldy. A keurig machine was available but we preferred the coffee maker until we saw the mold.The communication was pretty good and we were allowed entry slightly earlier. I feel like this is a good place to rent but the cleaning could use some work.

1st Bad Experience at Ocean Side Village!

Owners will keep your Deposit without even notifying you. I have called more than 5 times to the house and to Their Cell Phones but they will not return calls regarding Deposit. No Explanation at all. Not much of Property Managers. The house was invested with Ants, Crawling all over the counters, Air Filter had not been cleaned and was clogged up. Ocean Side Village is very nice and I have rented from Plenty Others but Stay Clear of this house and Couple that owns it! You will end up paying your rent for the week plus the deposit that was sent.

Just Okay

Conveiently located. Have stayed in this development on three previous vacations and each time at a different residence. This unit was tidy but dated in some regards. Unfortunately the day of arrival there must have been a pollen shower as nearly everything ouy/tside the home was coated in green dust. In order to use the deck and pario areas it took a 3 hour cleaning. While cleaning, inspection of the outdoor grille found it "noy fit for use". Inside was tidy, as mentioned, but required dishes, utensils, small appliances and kitchen surfaces to be recleaned before use. All ceiling fans were coated with dust (pictures available). I cleaned the master bedroom fan but simply did not use the others. Evidently screens are optional as weather did not necessitate the use of Air Conditioning. Blankets provided seemed clean but pocessed a musty odor and quilts had visible staining.. Personal items, I suppose belonging to the owners, were displayed and stored. This, along with the golf cart rental as an added expense was not experienced in previous rentals..

The worst stay

This place was the dirtiest place we have ever stayed. Walking to the front door it was filthy. The floors were sticky and dirty couldn’t walk around in your bare feet. Very out dated.Needs a deep cleaning. Advertised with a golf cart, that was a joke.The cart is so old, loud and backfired. Just stop running after about 10 min. had to push it back 4times. So we rented one for $176 told the owner no response.Hated to sit outside we are not smokers ashtrays full of cigarette butts. No broom to clean off carport.Killed many large bugs inside. Pictures are not true on the sight. Very very disappointing. Will never return to this rental. Oceanside Village itself was great. Very friendly and helpful people. Location to beach with a good golf cart is great.Owners response is not so great especially if you have anything that they don’t want to hear. Very unsatisfied ! !!! Ed & Anna
