This is a perfect place for your family to relax and enjoy a memorable beach vacation. Located on the quiet north end of Shore Drive, 'A Place At the Beach IV' offers you a beachfront resort thatā€™s convenient to outlet shopping, Restaurant Row, Pirate's Voyage, Carolina Opry, and many other attractions. Our unit faces the pool and a landscaped courtyard. Catch a stunning sunrise from the balcony! And the best part? Just STEPS to the beach!

The condo's appearance is attractive and inviting, but it is the "unseen" upgrades that bring it over the top in comfort! Our unit features quiet three-zone AC/heat with remote controls for each area, and a separate in-wall dehumidifier to keep air dry and fresh-feeling!

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, coffee maker, toaster, and all the cookware and utensils youā€™ll need. The sunlit, tastefully decorated living room includes a comfortable queen-size sofa bed. A TV with DVD player is provided for your entertainment. The primary bedroom, also opening to the balcony, has a queen-sized bed, a wall-mounted TV, a window with an ocean view, as well as an enlarged private bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds, so that the unit can sleep a total of six people. Both bedrooms have large closets with ample hanging space and storage for your luggage. The main bathroom is a full bath with tub/shower. All bed mattresses have premium AllerEase mattress protectors offering both allergy protection and cool sleep.

Two high deck chairs beckon you to relax and enjoy the great beach view from the covered balcony. A spacious pool deck with reclining lounge chairs surrounds the large main pool and the kiddie pool. For your comfort, the pool is heated in the spring and fall, and outside showers are located near both the pool and the beach. Hungry? Cook a juicy steak at the outdoor grills and enjoy the sea breeze as you eat at the picnic tables on the beautiful and well-kept grounds!

We invite you to enjoy your next beach retreat at this delightful, well-maintained vacation home!

Rentals only run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season but can sometimes vary in the off-season.

Linens are not included; renter provides their own sheets and towels. A basket of linens and towels can be supplied by owner for a $60.00 fee. Coin-operated laundry facilities are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

Important policies: NO SMOKING, NO PETS. You agree to abide by all rules governing the community where the property is located. Only one vehicle is allowed per rental, with no motorcycles, trailers or golf carts. Renter must be at least 25 years old. All rentals are subject to S. C. and Horry County taxes. Weather-related refunds given only for the duration of actual mandatory evacuations.

Note that all APATB IV units are serviced monthly by Oceanside Pest Control. Feel free to ask any questions before booking. By booking, you agree to allow Oceanside Pest Control access to the condo when they service the building.

Great spur of the moment trip

Such a great experience for our family. Booked this condo last minute and Virginia could not have been more helpful! Unit is right on the beach which we loved, plus the pool was right beside the complex and very convenient as well. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful condo, terrific owner and location!

This was our first time in this condo, it had everything we could have wanted. It was very clean, the central air and keyless entry were an added bonus! Virginia was very helpful, she communicated with me as a friend would. I highly recommend this rental.

Great place!

Condo was better than expectedā€¦ just a couple steps to the beach. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was convenient. A short drive to the Outlets, Walmart, Barefoot Landing, Bass Pro Shop, and the Apache Pier. Owner was very easy to reach. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Location, Great Condo, Value, with a Terrific Host ! 5 stars!

A perfect stay for us! Virginia is a great host. The condo was immaculately clean, nicely decorated (we loved all the wall art) and details, like every switch labeled, made a very effortless stay. Comfy bed too. The very walkable beach is a few steps out the door, and the pool was well heated in April. Nice to be away from the busier areas of Myrtle, and a three story building is much more appealing to us than a high-rise. If we are this way again we would look no further.

Everything was great!

This was a beautiful and immaculate condo right by the ocean next to the pool where everything worked. Very convenient to just about everything lots of space and super comfortable. The host was great answered our questions and we met the cleaner and she was great too. Nothing went wrong! We loved our experience and will be back.

Steps to beach

We loved walking to the pier for crab cakes, restaurants were so nice. Loved McDoogles and also Flying Fish restaurant. Pizza place nearby was great! Never cooked in we ate out. Just take Queen size sheets and your own towels. Marshallā€™s was down the road if you needed anything. Pool days were fabulous -most days we had it all to ourselves -lots of lounge chairs. Flip Flops has a place to buy things like Soft drinks and beer itā€™s two buildings down. Couldnā€™t ask for a nicer location!

Wonderful Stay! Steps to the Ocean and Close to Everything you may need!

My family had a wonderful stay at Virginia's condo. The main bathroom has been recently updated with a large shower/tub. Plenty of seating in the living room. Wonderful balcony. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Check in and check out were a breeze. Parking pass provided and plenty of parking spaces. Pool was great but we never went it, just enjoyed the seating around it. We loved this condo and would certainly stay again! Thank you so much, Virginia. Hope to return again.

Family vacation

Fantastic condo! This condo was family friendly, cozy and overall a great place to spend the week with your family! It was close to the beach, which beach access, also close to the pool! The entire property was clean and well kept. We especially liked that it had essentials for the beach like beach chairs, sand toys and pool floaters. The condo had the most comfortable beds and pillows! The kitchen came with all the essentials to cook during our stay, which was especially helpful! Patio was nice, with great views of the pool and Apache Pier! The main bathroom had a great soaking tub! 10 out of 10! Canā€™t wait to book again next summer!

Perfect Beach Condo

Condo was clean, well stocked and updated. It has an updated HVAC unit that is 1,000x quieter and more efficient than most the other condo with old wall units. The owners were wonderful and went well beyond expectations to accommodate our changing needs. You will never get the same service from a management company. Weā€™ve stayed at nine different condos in this building over the years and this would be our first choice when returning next year.

Wonderful stay in North Myrtle Beach

This condo is very clean and welcoming. The owner accommodated our stay at the last minute since her place was available. The location of the condo is excellent, only steps from the beach, and was very quiet. This is one of the only condos we have stayed in APAT that had central air conditioning. It is clear that the owner cares about her place at the beach.

It was wonderful!

My husband and I loved this condo. It was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed! We really enjoyed our stay and we hope that we can come back in the future. We were worried that Hurricane Irma was going to impact our stay and the owners were very nice and offered to refund our money should the hurricane make it so that we couldn't come to the condo (we were coming from Ohio) but luckily we were able to come down! We would we love to stay here again!

Myrtle Beach is our family place! Before purchasing this condo in 1985, my parents brought the family camping very nearby at Lake Arrowhead. For 40 years, three generations of family have all enjoyed vacationing together here and my parents hosted many happy renters! For more than half a decade now, my husband, John, and I continue my parents' legacy of gracious hosting at our beach condo.

We think Shore Drive is one of the nicest -- if not THE nicest -- area of the Grand Strand. There are many convenient, nearby attractions, and yet our complex is tucked away in a quieter area. While there are fun things within walking distance (Apache Pier, Ocean Annie's, FlipFlops, etc.), we enjoy the beach the best. And being outdoor lovers, we take a walk down to the "swash" every day to see lovely shore birds, find cool shells and critters, and enjoy sunrise or sunset color. No matter what your interests, there's something for everyone!

We take a great deal of pride in making our condo comfortable and inviting for our guests. Our condo affords many upgrades not found in other APATB units, and we've had a number of guests tell us how much nicer our unit is than others they've stayed in!
