Villa with private pool and sea view from 1st floor, 5 mins walk to beach

This Villa is situated on the hillside with private pool which can be heated during the cooler months (April/May and September/October the pool temperature will only ever be 10 degrees above the average 24hour temperature hence it is not heated at all between November-March), separate garden area and is only 5 minute walk down to the beach.

The Villa itself has a light and airy open plan living area, 3 bedrooms. All bedrooms have air conditioning and own bathroom and doors accessing terrace areas.

Cala Vadella bay is one of the most beautiful beaches on Ibiza. The beach is tranquil with natural sand, shells and the sea is calm with clear water, so it is ideal for young children.

We have owned the property since 2014 and have slowly been renovating. 2016 we extended the terrace and refurbished the pool and added heating, 2018 the downstairs bathroom has been refitted and house repainted.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mimosa — the villa is beautifully kept, peaceful, and perfectly located for a truly relaxing break. The outdoor space is especially lovely, with a great pool and plenty of quiet spots to unwind. The villa is well-equipped and felt very private, yet it’s a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly throughout. It was exactly the restorative escape our family needed. Highly recommended!

Amazing villa

We had a fabulous stay at Casa Mimosa. The location is excellent with an easy walk to the beach and a selection of places to eat. The villa was spotlessly clean with everything we needed to cook when required. Would definitely go back.

Awesome private villa With great pool

Week at Casa Mimosa

Great week spent at the villa Perfect for families Location was perfect, the beach and bars were fab, but too much for the 83 year old to walk up the hill back to the villa We used an online supermarket, they delivered the next day as we didn’t hire a car. Perfect house in lovely location

We’re a family of four and had a fantastic time here. The house is immaculate and has everything we needed. The pool and outdoor areas are fantastic and the proximity to the beach is great. There are several nice restaurants in walking distance, which is a great bonus. Check in/out were a breeze. We’re looking to being back in the not too distant future.

Beautiful Villa in peaceful location

Clean, bright and tastefully decorated villa in walking distance from Cala Vadella beach. The villa had brand new beds, linen and towels. It was perfect for our family of four but would comfortably sleep more guests. We would happily recommend this villa to others and look forward to returning to Casa Mimosa in the future.

Great stay

We had a really lovely time for a week here in June, lovely villa, spotless, comfy beds , great location well equipped villa , I would highly recommend it , and I would certainly go back x Jackie the owner was so helpfull all the way through, especially as this was a roll over , roll over , holiday , honestly go stay here , uts smashing !! We all loved it , 5 mature ladies!! ...the house was great in every way for us , and caka vadella beach is really a lovely little bay , ..thank you Jackie fir letting us stay at your home , and a thankyou too to Christine, who had the villa spotless fir our arrival 😀

Wonderful Casa Mimosa

The villa was absolutely perfect for our one week family holiday (two adults and three children). The owner and housekeeper were immensely helpful prior to and on arrival. The villa is a perfect location for walking down to Cala Vadella, with a wonderful beach, fab restaurants and supermarket (great bread and bocadillo's). The children were so relaxed at the villa, that we spent more time in and around the pool, than down at the beach, even though it was no more than 5 mins walk!! The beds are very comfy and there is plenty of poolside furniture for sunbathing, relaxing and eating. Would thoroughly recommend, and hope to come back soon.

Fabulous Villa

Jackie, the owner, was very helpful beforehand. Christine checked us in and the villa was spotless with very easy to follow instructions. Very well placed to walk to the beach and the bars/restaurants. Well appointed with no problems during our stay at all. We were there for 12 days so had a bed/towel change half way through. Christine even cleaned the bathrooms for us too - thank you so much - our stay was wonderful - we will definitely use this villa again.

Excellent and peaceful location to family friendly beach Cala Vedella

We were positively surprised by the location of the beautiful house that is by the way structures in a very intelligent was with two bedrooms with 2 attached bath rooms upstairs and the same set up with bedroom/bath room on ground level. Accommodates perfectly three couples, for children please align with the house keeper in advance as the three king size beds might not fit a family with child. We will surely recommend this great apartment with our friends as it is a perfect accommodation for discovering Ibiza! Thank you to the owners!

Fantastic Villa in perfect location

This is such a great Villa! So well equipped, including ingredients in the cupboard, products for laundry, in the bathrooms and beach towels as well as all the usual linens you might expect from a hotel. The coffee machine was a very happy find indeed! Location is barely a 7 min stroll down the hill to the beach and 6 or 7 restaurants/bars right on the beach front. The bay is sheltered, calm and clear with paddle boarding and no jet skis! The private pool is such a fantastic bonus. The balcony was a favourite spot for pre dinner drinks and early morning yoga. We couldn’t fault this place, the communication from the owner and the local property minder was great, and we will be back! Loved everything about it.

Our 2nd Time and Still Wonderful

We stayed at Casa Mimosa in 2022 and liked it so much we rebooked for 2024. Absolute perfect location as only a 5 or so minute walk to the beach (it's a very steep hill though so be warned as the walk home can take longer!). The villa was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We are cooks and the kitchen had all we needed. The pool area is relaxing and hardly overlooked (a plus for Cala Vadella) and perfect for eczema/bad skin sufferers as it's salt water so no chlorine. The bedrooms and bathrooms are relatively small but have all you need with decent storage. I simply can't find anything negative to say about the villa at all - we will definitely be back again in the future - Thank you Jackie (and Emelie the housekeeper who did a great job)!!

Amazing, beautiful villa, fantastic pool, great setting.

We visited Casa Mimosa for a special friends 50th Birthday. Jackie gave us a great contact to collect us from the airport. We arrived and Christine, housekeeper, was waiting for us. We loved the villa, comfortable bedrooms, beautiful pool and terrace. Lovely beach, safe swimming, great restaurants and amazing sunsets. We caught the bus 🚌 to SAN Josep and then on to Ibiza town and had a taxi back. Beautiful Marina and castle with lovely shops, bars and restaurants, well worth the trip. Lots of fun and laughter, great Estrella and if you like Pina Colada, get down to the beach bar 🍹. Great last day on the beach with the silver package at Maya Beach, they kept our luggage and we showered and changed after enjoying our time on the comfy sun beds under the brollies. We all said we would love to go back. 🏖

Fab villa near beautiful Bay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in April ‘18. We were lucky enough to have good weather for the time of year which meant we could enjoy the fabulous pool area. We opted to get the pool heated, and although it wasn’t particularly warm, it didn’t stop us from being in the pool every day. The bay is just a 5 min walk away and offers a a good few restaurants and bars. Maria Luis was great for food and the recently opened Maya beach club has an excellent cocktail selection! We had a hire car which was ideal to head over to Ibiza town and also to the nearby supermarket in San Josep. The supermarket itself offers pretty much everything you need. There’s also a spar which we used for fresh bread and croissants. The villa itself is spacious, clean and well equipped. The recent upgrades make a big difference. Jackie and Christine were excellent throughout, making our stay as comfortable and stress free! Thanks again!

Can't fault the villa but the location could be better

This is a lovely villa with everything you would expect — very good air con throughout, lovely pool and garden, nice terrace, well appointed kitchen and facilities. The bedrooms are good, although the beds are a little small (in width) for adults if separated to be used as twins, but fine for kids. As doubles they would be fine, I think. We went in August 2023 and found the surrounding villas were pretty lively until after midnight, but that added to the holiday atmosphere. I have given the location 2 stars because this proved the major headache of the holiday — Cala Valdella has one small shop right by the beach which is very inaccessible by car, and walking up the very steep hill with water etc is not practical on a daily basis. All of its restaurants are fine, and the beach is OK, but there's nothing else to do or even a good walk to be found easily on foot. Because of this, we were very reliant on our hire car, and the larger super markets in St Josep, facing some challenging driving and parking situations every day. We ate in the same restaurant at the beach 3 times in 7 nights, because we didn't want to drive around in the evening as well as in the day. We walked the steep hill (about 10 minutes) every day at least once, but this put us off going out on foot as much as we usually have on holiday. So, I can't fault the villa if you're happy staying at home by the pool, but if you are hoping for shops, bars and things to do on your doorstep, this may not be for you.

Amazing accommodation for a group trip

I visited Casa Mimosa with 5 girlfriends and could not recommend it enough! The villa is totally kitted out with everything you may need for hosting. The outdoor space has an lots of seating options including sun loungers, a large sofa and a dinning table with chairs. The balcony on the 2nd floor also has seating and ocean views, so if you fancy an afternoon cocktail with a view it's on your doorstep! The kitchen is stacked with crockery and some useful cooking ingredients (oil, salt & pepper, milk, juice and more). Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which was ideal for us as we went out a lot so needed the space to get ready. The villa is located in Cala Vadella which is really beautiful and as it's situated on the west side of the island you can watch the sunset every day. There are plenty of nice restaurants and bars on the beach which is only a 5 minute walk away. The little supermarket near the beach stocks fresh fruit, veg, pastries, meats, cheese and a selection of wine, beer and spirits. When you arrive into Cala Vadella make sure you make a note of where the communal bins are because at the end of your stay you'll need to take the recycling and general waste to the bins and if you don't have a car it's a bit of a pain walking around the neighbourhood with rubbish. I'd also recommend booking taxis in advance as there's only 1000 taxis on the island so trying to get a taxi last minute does not work. We missed a dinner reservation on the first night because we couldn't get a taxi. Christine is the housekeeper at Villa Mimosa and also a fountain of knowledge so if you need anything message her as she's very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay at Villa Mimosa and would definitely go back!

We enjoy beautiful scenery for us this means hills and greenery. We Bought this property in December 2014 because of this, we hope to use it a few times a year as somewhere we can come and relax, enjoy the sun, make sand castles and swim in the bay and the pool. We especially enjoy the cooler months as the pool is heated, it is also fun to have a night swim wit the pool lights on.

We hope that if you choose to stay you will enjoy it as much as us

We bought this property when our have daughter was aged 6, she loves swimming and going to the beach, so the pool is a real bonus. The property is in a quiet area, but easy to reach from the airport 20 mins by car with a lovely small natural sand beach.

We also enjoy running and cycling and there are some lovely off road tracks to explore

Ibiza town about 30 mins away, so easy to reach if you want a little retail therapy. This property has great views from the roof and the pool is private, with a small garden to the side which offers shade from the sun in summer. The beach is only a 5 mins walk so we don't need the car. The bay is beautiful with natural sand and shells lying around. There's a few of restaurants and a couple of bars actually on the beach meaning we can have a coffee whilst our daughter plays. The area is quiet and friendly and enables us to unwind
