Comfortable Family Villa for 6, large pool Can Bosc



This ideal family villa, situated within easy walking distance of the charming little village of San Jose, has a large. 6 X 12m pool, (80cm in the shallow end and 210cm at the deepest point) BBQ, sun terraces and ChillOut where one can relax with a drink while watching the spectacular sunsets.
There is 1 twin bedroom and 1 double which share the main bathroom and 1 double bedroom with 150 X 200 bed and a shower/toilet en suite.
Each bedroom has A/C.
The attractive lounge dining-room, with open fire place, for winter lets, leads onto the main terrace and the lawn which is an ideal spot for children to play.
The villa is equipped with Smart TV and Wi-fi (which now can be used even down by the pool!)
The well equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle etc.

The house is situated at the edge of a small wood, at the end of a quiet cul de sac with views of the valley of San Agustin and the sea in the distance.
The villa has central heating for early and late season lets and Airconditioning in every bedroom.(These are charged separately) There is also a small safe. The maid comes twice a week. The linen is changed once a week. Towels twice a week. Beach towels are not provided. The pool is cleaned weekly.

There is a returnable breakage deposit of €500, or equivalent, in cash, payable on arrival. This is returned at the end of your stay minus breakages, A/C, Central heating, if used, loss of keys, extra linen, more than 6 people in the villa and the compulsory Eco Tax of 2.2€ per person (over 14) per night.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Pauls villa. He was overly accommodating, allowing us an early check in and check out. Which with a one year old in tow was much appreciated. I wish I could say we had seen him again in the week but everything was so perfect there was no need to see him again until we checked out! Can’t wait to visit again.

Beautiful stay

We loved our stay at this property. The beds were comfortable and we didnt need to use the air con becasue of the lovely breeze. We enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets. Thank you Paul for being a great host.

We had an amazing stay at this really wonderful villa. It is located in a quiet and private area close to San Jose. You can easily walk there. The highlight is definitely the huge saltwater pool. It is absolutely clean and well maintained. In the outdoor area, there are also lots of lovely little spots, where you can eat, play or just relax. The kitchen is also very well equipped, and Paul is such a kind and friendly host who takes the time to answer all questions and share great and helpful tips. Wed be happy to come back. Thanks for everything Paul!

Lovely villa in a great location

The Villa had everything we needed for our stay, beds were very comfortable. The bbq and pool area is lovely to spend time, although it was a bit windy during our stay the kids still managed a dip in the pool a couple of times. There are so many amazing beaches within a short 15 minute drive, and San Josep town is an easy 10 min walk away with lots of great restaurants and cafes.

Great Place fantastic place nicely centrally located.

luxury villa with authentic elements. Everything is available. All facilities are there. internet, washing machine, dishwasher, good beds, television and a lovely swimming pool.

Absolutely fantastic... can't recommend staying here highly enough!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Can Bosc! Wendy was an excellent host - easily contactable and welcoming. The villa was very clean and well kitted out for cooking meals, cleaning/ironing, and of course relaxing. The beds were all comfortable and the water pressure of the showers was excellent. The outside seating areas offered some great views and sunsets. The villa is a fantastic location through being a short 5 minute walk from San Josep and all of the delights which the town has to offer. As annual visitors to The White Isle I'm sure we’ll be staying here again!

Excellent location and views

Overall the house was great and the outside space was perfect to spend lazy afternoons and watch the gorgeous sunsets. The bedrooms were great and had much needed air conditioning. My only comment is that the kitchen is quite dated and the equipment could do what an upgrade which the owner said she was planning to do. We would definately revisit .

Lovely villa for family stay

We stay as a family of adults and really enjoyed our stay here. The interior is comfortable but the outdoor areas were our highlight. All the sun beds and chairs were comfortable and good quality. We could sit out and relax, sunbathe by the pool or sit out at night by the BBQ. Pillows and sheets were nice and soft and comfortable. Kitchen has most amenities we needed. The villa outlook up over the hills feels lovely and remote and very quiet. We loved the trees to look out by the pool. The villas around the property are owned by the owner and his family so you feel very safe and no unexpected traffic or people around. A quick walk down to San Josep with a bit of a step hill on the way back by my 80 year old parents could manage it! We’d love to stay again - photos don’t do it justice or capture the feel of the villa.

Absolutely gorgeous

I have just come back from a week at Can Bosc with my husband and friends and we already can’t wait to go back next year. The area of San Josep was very central on the island, we had hired a car for the week which made it easy to get around and on the evenings we went out to enjoy some drinks, an Uber was always just 10 minutes away. It’s a lovely and quiet area to enjoy some much needed tranquil after a couple of late evenings out to the clubs. The villa itself was perfect, very clean and plenty of space. Our favourite area was the pool and chill out area where we watched the gorgeous sunset over the hill each evening. We had everything we needed for our stay including a bbq area, refreshing pool to swim in, a washing machine and comfy beds! Paul the owner was very helpful on both checking in and out of the Villa, making it all very easy. He made some great suggestions of restaurants nearby in San Josep and places to go in the area. A few places we loved which were nearby were Cala Tarida beach, Cas Costas restaurant, watching the sunset at Es Vedra view point & exploring the beautiful Old Town.

Not worth the hassle

This holiday rental was difficult from the outset. First Wendy insisted that the deposit, taxes and air con should be paid in cash. We were not comfortable with this as HomeAway advised that it would not be covered by their policies and protections. We agreed (after around 15 emails on the subject) that the deposit would be paid to HomeAway but then they paid this to Wendy instead of holding it. Instead of Wendy dealing with HomeAway on this she returned the deposit (after 10 or so messages) and then tried to charge us for the bank fees! We had no control over any of this. Eventually HomeAway returned the deductions to us but not until we had sent even more emails. The place is comfortable, but be advised that the modem / wifi connection is so outdated you will struggle to open even the most basic of internet pages and we could not open our emails. I would not advertise this villa as having wifi. Overall the view is nice but I would say there are lots better places out there which won't cause you so many problems.

Perfection

We are a family of 4 with 2 children (3 & 5) and spent 2 blissful weeks at Can Bosc at the end of July 2021. I can honestly say it was the most enjoyable family holiday we have ever had, all made possible by the beautiful Can Bosc. First and foremost, the host Wendy could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful during our entire stay. I had read a review on here about Wendy's dog being "left to roam" however Flori was a lovely old dog and we had no issue with her roaming anywhere and there we experienced no issues with her and the children. The villa is located down a private road, at the far end of a quiet cul de sac. It was immaculately clean inside and out on arrival, and was fully cleaned a further 3 times over the course of the 2 weeks. Beds were very comfortable with multiple pillows to choose from. The Wifi was very good (especially for a holiday rental from past experience), and the tv in the lounge had "smart" features which kept the kids entertained when they needed some chill time. We logged into Netflix which worked perfectly (remember to log out at the end!). The kitchen is well equiped, and the washing machine worked well. The outside area surrounding the villa far surpassed our expectations and the photos do not do it justice. There is a small grass garden on the side of the property which is off the lounge and one of the bedrooms, the pool area is expansive and is far enough away from the main villa to give comfort over the children's safety, the bbq area is nicely laid out and has clear views over the pool and the surrounding countryside and finally there is a wooded area behind the property which the children enjoyed exploring. The pool itself was the perfect temperature at the time of visit, cold enough to cool you down in the heat of the day but warm enough so the kids didn't get cold when in there for long periods. Both our 3 and 5 year-olds could just about touch the bottom of the pool at the shallow end, and they both left the holiday having hugely improved their swimming. Location wise, the villa is a 5 minute walk into the local village San Josep which has 2 well stocked supermarkets and numerous cafes and restaurants. Lidl is a short drive away, towards San Antoni. In summary, thoroughly recommend this villa for a family holiday and we will be booking again in the near future. Thank you Wendy!

Sehr schön gelegene Finca mit tollem Ausblick und einem schönen, großen Pool. Sehr gepflegt, die gesamte Anlage. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, sowohl mit Elektrogeräten als auch mit Werkzeug. Wenn etwas fehlt, ist Paul immer zur Stelle. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder.

Urlaub im Ambiente-Modus

Ein Top-Haus, ein toller Pool, ein Top-Garten und eine umwerfende Lage und Aussicht. Eigentlich schon genial, perfekt macht es aber der Besitzer. Paul ist tiefenentpannt und kümmert sich um alles. Wir sind begeistert und sagen Danke. Einziger Nachteil: Irgendwann ist so ein Urlaub in so einem Haus leider zu Ende.

Séjour en famille à Ibiza

Séjour parfait dans cette belle villa idéalement localisée à Sant Josep (15 min de l'aéroport et de nombreuses plages). La maison est spacieuse (3 belles chambres, parfait pour 6 personnes ou 2 couples et enfants) et très bien équipée. Les espaces extérieurs sont des atouts supplémentaires et l'orientation permet d'apprécier le couché de soleil tous les soirs. Paul est très sympathique et très accessible, merci à lui. Wunderschönes Poolhaus in Toplage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Abwicklung funktionierte problemlos. San Josep mit Restaurants und Supermärkten ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus liegt ruhig in einer Sackgasse. Die besten Strände sind in kurzer Distanz mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Gerne wieder.

Wunderbarer Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir (5 Freunde) hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt! Der Check-In bei Paul lief absolut unkompliziert ab. Wir kamen etwas später als erwartet an, dennoch hat Paul sich die Zeit genommen, uns in Ruhe zu begrüßen und uns alles zu zeigen. Auch die weitere Kommunikation lief reibungslos ab und Paul war sogar so lieb, uns mit Nähzeug auszuhelfen. Die Lage der Villa ist einfach perfekt; Das Grundstück liegt in einem abgelegeneren Teil von Sant Josep, wodurch man seine Ruhe hat und eine tolle Aussicht genießen kann. Dennoch ist der Weg ins Dorf nicht weit und man kommt schnell nach Ibiza bzw. zum Rest der Insel. Von uns gibt es eine absolute Empfehlung. Vielen Dank, Paul!

Familienurlaub im Mai

Hi Paul, wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub bei dir mit unseren Kindern. Das Haus ist super schön mit dem tollen Pool und dem Ausblick. Die Ruhe dort haben wir sehr genossen. Unsere Kinder haben sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage war perfekt für uns. Ein kleiner Fußweg zum Dorf und ein kurzer Weg nach Ibiza. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub und bis bald Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen

How it all started

I arrived here on Ibiza with my husband and 2 small children, 50 years ago. We fell in love with the island and lost no time in buying land and building our first house. We used to move out every summer to a small apartment, so we could let the house. A few years later, we bought the land next door and gradually built 2 more villas, each with a large pool. We have been letting them successfully, renovating and improving them each year, ever since!
The villas are tourist registered and are of a high standard.
I like to greet my guests personally and am on hand to help with information and know-how, whenever necessary. Many guests return again and again!
