Junkanoo Villa, located on Elbow Cay, Abaco, Bahamas is a prime rental home on the most desired island in the Abacos! Come relax in this expansive Bahamian style home located in the private, prestigious, marina community of Marnie’s Creek, on the southern end of the island.

Junkanoo is the ideal place to spend days basking in the sun next to the large pool and 70 foot deck overlooking the Sea of Abaco, and surrounding islands.

Eateries, shops and beautiful beaches abound and all are within walking distance or a short golf cart ride away. Fishing and boating is hassle free as this home offers dockage to accommodate not only a runabout style boat, but also up to a 60 foot sport fisher. Electric, water, and community fish cleaning stand are available for your use. Deep blue Atlantic waters thriving with game fish are just minutes away through Tiloo cut.

The house is graciously appointed in island style furnishings and offers all amenities such as Satellite TV, DVD, and internet. A screened porch surrounds the main house, with open decks for bbq area, and conversation areas leading to the pool. The spacious pool deck boasts chaise lounges, multiple sitting areas, and a beautiful gazebo with two swings and double chaise lounges. The house includes beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and more. It has all the feels of a private resort.

We will assist you with contacts for all of your needs, including golf cart and boat rentals, restaurant reservations, fishing or diving trips. Junkanoo is offered for rental at the following rates:

60’ boat slip with shore power and water for additional charge.

Awesome Again

We have stayed at Junkanoo multiple times and our experience continues to be great. The house was laid out well for our group, sunsets were amazing, pool was great, and having the boat just steps away at a protected dockage is an added bonus. Our only wish is to have stayed longer !

Even better than the photos

We had a great stay at Junkanoo Villa. This was our first time on Elbow Cay and didn’t know what to expect. The location of Junkanoo was perfect for us. We rented a boat for the entire week and the protected marina right behind the house was ideal. The landscaping and pool area were immaculate. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Elbow Cay Home

Great home with perfect separate living spaces for our group. The pool with its wonderful view and dock right in front of the house are soooo nice. The home was well stocked with all our cooking needs and a gas grill. We will be back !

Great return trip, first since Dorian. A LOT of building going on there now….mostly south end. Definitely the busiest we have ever scene it. JUNKANOO VILLA did not disappoint, we enjoyed the home and the lovely pool. Recommend putting beach chairs there for guests, it would have been a great addition to have over at Tahiti Beach! Internet service was not ideal this trip, never had that problem before, but we made out ok! Many thanks for a great stay.

This is the perfect property to vacation with family & friends. Incredible property. Incredible views. Incredible owner and caretaker. We’ve rented multiple times over many years, and it never disappoints. Highly highly recommend. Book your golf cart with lighthouse carts.

Junkanoo Villa is a fabulous property! The house, dock out back, deck, pool, screened porch, well-equipped kitchen and comfy beds are just a few of the fantastic things to mention. Unforgettable

This property is an amazing house in a lovely location. The island is still recovering from hurricane/pandemic but the people are friendly beaches are gorgeous and two amazing restaurants are up and running. The house has so many sitting areas that it never felt crowded even with our multi-generational family of 11. We will come back!

Best week ever

Third time is definitely a charm! This was our third year coming to Hopetown and our third house we’ve rented. By far our favorite place we’ve stayed on the island! It is spacious, beautifully decorated, has a fantastic view of the marina, a gorgeous pool and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone! The layout of the house was perfect, the convenience of the location and having a marina literally right in front of the house was perfect for our boat. And they have the best concierge who made our stay even better. We will definitely be renting again! 5 stars all around!

Awesome house and location

We stayed for almost 15 days and everything was great. The house, the pool, the rooms, beds, linens, etc. Everything. One thing to note is that, as of 1/17/2022, the renovation of the dock is not complete. That said, the owners were great and set up a private dockage down the road about 10 mins. Crews were working on rebuilding the docks when we were there. So take that into consideration. You definitely need a golf cart rental at this location. Overall 5 stars. Owners/property manager were great to work with. We will definitely be back again!

Spring Break

Beautiful home and conveniently located to reach all of the Island by golf cart. The marina construction was going on during our visit and did create challenges but honestly great to see the amount of progress in short amount of time. The marina restoration project is likely complete at this point and certainly would've been a great advantage to pull the boat up to the house to offload the children and wives. The sunset views are impossible to beat as the pool and main screened in porch looks out into the sea of Abaco. Short walk to the beach from the front of the property. We had 6 kids all under age of 5 and house was bulletproof with locks and safety precautions. Jessica was also was great to work with and provided updates/pictures on the marina project and progress months before our stay. When i go back to Elbow I will make great effort to stay at the Junkanoo Villa again.

Simply amazing!

Junkanoo Villa is just perfect! Our 2nd visit was even better than the first as Elbow Cay continues to rebuild after Hurricane Dorian. The house, deck, boat slip, and pool are even better than the pictures depict. The caretaker is wonderful and will answer any questions. The homeowners have a wonderful notebook of important information and fun things to do around the Abacos. Both the homeowner and caretaker will check in to get your trip details to ensure a smooth arrival—it is much appreciated! The house is amazing, comfortable and spotless. You will definitely want to rent a golf cart for exploring and moving about the island. Having the boat slip right in the “front yard” is priceless! The newly rebuilt dock has seating and provides an excellent spot for watching turtles play. Watching the sunsets from the pool is always a trip highlight. We love Junkanoo Villa and can’t wait to go back! Thank you!

Amazing

This house is amazing! The inside of the house has been maintained meticulously. The outside is landscaped beautifully. The pool area is enormous and set up so you can be in the sun or shade. The dock is brand new. The caretaker is friendly and attentive. We have been going to the Abacos for thirty years and this is probably the nicest house we have stayed in.

Amazing stay cut short by weather

We were pleasantly surprised by the Junkanoo Villa. The house was perfect for our group! We had a wide range of ages from young adult to teens to elementary school children and there was enough room and privacy for everyone, but also a great kitchen and porch for our large group to gather. The pool and pool deck were amazing! The owner was so kind to check in with us on arrival and on our departure and arrival home. We crossed over from FL by boat and it was so nice of her to check on us! The location in relation to Tahiti beach was so nice! We golf carted and boated there daily. Thank you for a great stay! I would definitely recommend!

Amazing place

Junkanoo Villa was absolutely amazing. Perfect for our large group. The downstairs “apartment” was just right for the older kids to have their own space. The house is equipped with everything you could need. Williene, the caretaker, was wonderful. And FYI she makes the yummiest cinnamon rolls. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our stay.

Perfect for Family / Friend Gatherings

Beautiful property, amazing location, incredible hostess, great rooms, great pool area... private but accessible. We've booked every year for the past 3 years. Absolutely LOVE Junkanoo!!!! Plenty of room for everyone. HIGHLY recommend!
