Everything was just as expected and even better. The house was lovely and so well stocked and maintained. We enjoyed everything about it. Access to the beautiful Kailua Beach was easy and so very nice. We even had a unique experience (to us) of a tsunami evacuation! We all wish it were just a bit closer to Chicago. Peter is the most responsive owner I’ve ever worked with through VRBO.

A beautiful, spacious home. Very confortable for eight people. Would not hesitate to stay again. Peter was very responsive. The outside shower hose broke and he had it fixed within hours. The location was literally steps from the beach.

Wonderful vacation place

Perfect location. Very close to a nice beach and another beach very short distance away where we did snorkeling. Walkable to a small shopping area. Very beautiful home with lots of space and well equipped with everything we needed. Peter was quick to reply to a few questions. Would highly recommend.

Beach access

Very comfortable home with the four bedrooms separated for privacy and quiet sleeping. Excellent kitchen. Great access within easy walking distance to a fabulous beach. Easy walking to restaurants and market. Host was very accommodating. Definitely would love to stay here again.

Simply the Best

This was the perfect home for our group of six. It is located right across the street from Kailua Beach Park and a short walk to Lanikai Beach and Buzz's Steakhouse. Not only did we go to the beach every day, we were also happy to have the private pool to gather around in the evenings. The house is well stocked with necessities, and the welcome basket was a pleasant surprise. Peter was a very responsive and gracious host. We certainly plan to return.

Awsome House

Peter was great to deal with. Each room having its own ac was awsome, pool was perfect, kitchen well stocked. 4 stars bc couple major appliances were broke and beds were just ok.

Kailua Beach

This property is gorgeous. It is so close to the beach—short walk. Beach towels are available and beach chairs and snorkel equipment. Peter the host is very friendly and helpful. The backyard and pool are beautiful and relaxing. It is more than a 5 star stay. My family and I really enjoyed staying there

Perfect spot for our Hawaii vacation

The house was in a gated community, across the street from the beach in a great part of Kailua. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We had an amazing time and hope to return in the future.

Family vacation

We loved the property and the location near the beach and proximity to restaurants and other amenities. The pool was a great hit! The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. The kitchen and common living areas were large, open and beautiful. The only issue we had was that the living, dining and kitchen fans were too slow and it was very hot in the common area since there was no AC there. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay in every way!

Incredible home and pool with perfect location

We were blown away by how nice and spacious the home was as soon as we walked in. The backyard feels very private and relaxing - didn't expect to spend much time in the pool with the beach nearby, but we used it every day. There are great beaches nearby, and several great restaurants/food spots as well. Would happily stay here again many times!

Spectacular!

Spectacular property located beachside! Our family came together to attend my youngest son's wedding @ Kualoa Ranch. The house was perfect for our needs. The pool kept the kids busy while the adults conversed and enjoyed the spa. It was immaculate and had everything we needed. Of the 4 rental properties our other friends and relatives had..hands down. ours was definitely the best. Very grateful for its availability.

Kailua Perfection!

Beautiful home in a perfect location at Kailua Beach. It also is a short walk to Lanikai Beach, the Pillbox Trail, Buzz’s and the Kalapawai Market. The house is in a small, quiet gated community and is modern, clean, spacious and comfortable with a clean, warm pool in addition. The owner is readily available if needed. Absolutely loved our stay!

Great spot

The beach is just across the park. And at that spot there is a lifeguard, bathrooms, showers, and shaded area overlooking the beach... so you can even sit in the shade and watch the kids play. And Kailua is a great little town. You have a target right there, but also local mom and pop restaurants which were very good. And the beach/pool supplies for the kids were perfect. Also... if you like a heated pool, it was in the 80's. My kids loved that. They are just too spoiled. Chatted with Peter a few times when he came to take the trash away and such. Great guy, very helpful with information about the area and such. Seems like he has been doing this for a good long while.

Family Getaway

The house looks better in person. Conveniently located across the street from kailua beach. Our host Peter is very responsive. Home came equipped with the necessities and more. Our stay was stress free. 10/10

40th wedding anniversary

Our stay was perfect! Our 3 grown children with their partners and our 7 month old granddaughter spent a wonderful week at this amazing home. The kitchen was very well stocked (including an unexpected welcome basket) with everything we needed. The heated pool and sound system made hanging out at the home very relaxing- there were also plenty of pool and beach toys (including a large wagon to help carry the chairs and umbrellas down to the beach). I can't think of one thing this rental- or host- could've done differently to make our stay better. 5+ stars!! With many thanks to Peter!!

Jackpot find!

Lovely home in a quiet secluded gated community for our family group of eight. The location is stupendous with a stunning beach almost at your doorstep. Only minutes to a very good shopping centre including a impressive Whole Foods for the vegans in our group. Access point to the Honolulu area and North Shore etc excursions is a plus. Coming back to a barbecue and evening at the pool topped things off for excellent days. Peter, our host is a gem. Keep this one on your list … !

Peter is a Wonderful Host 🌺

We chose this place about a year ago for our family to stay for my daughter’s wedding. There were seven family members one of whom is handicapped and there was absolutely no problem with the property even the pool. Everyone was extremely happy with my choice. Peter is a very gracious host, we had some travel problems and we stayed in touch and he had the house all set up at midnight when we finally arrived. Then on the wedding day we had the bridal party there early for hair and makeup session that went very smoothly with ample room in the house for everyone. Great location across from the beach and walkable to shopping and shaved ice for the two teenagers with us. Also when you arrive there is a lovely welcoming basket of goodie’s along with items left from others in the refrigerator and pantry which makes your shopping a little easier. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful home with a pool. Mahalo Peter!🌺 We will return Charles & Cathy

Wonderful property

This house is amazing!! It accommodated my family of 8 perfectly. The house is beautiful featuring a large swimming pool and very easy access to the beach, which is truly right across the street. The welcome basket from the owner was so kind and appreciated. Peter, the owner, is very kind and attentive to any questions we had. I would recommend this house to anyone. It is even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures show. Thank you Peter for making our family trip to Hawaii so memorable.

Fabulous Kailua Beach home for large group!

Oh my goodness! Did we find a winner in this VRBO rental right across the road from Kailua Beach Park! It was perfect for our family of 8, with four large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, huge family area/kitchen and lanai with a pool and grill so that eating in was like eating out! We could walk so many places, saving on parking hassles. The property was beautiful and clean, and our host Peter was right on any issues (there were few). We had such a memorable time. HIGHLY recommend!!!
