Kailua Beachside: Charming beach house steps from the white sands of beautiful Kailua Beach. Nestled in a large, private garden property, enclosed by stone walls with palms, banana trees and beautiful tropical gardens. Very safe and fun for kids, great for families, with lots of room to roam and hang out. The large private outdoor shower is everyone’s favorite.

3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths make it comfortable for 6 people. Living room, TV/reading den and laundry. Outdoor patio with table, chairs for 8 and large umbrella right outside living and dining. Fully equipped for cooking if you want to do your own, and minutes from Kailua Town if you want to eat out. It’s a short walk to the local favorite Kalapawai Market for coffee, or Buzz’s steak house. Or leave your car behind and explore Lanikai on the bikes.

Wake up to gentle tradewinds in the red bedroom, with corner windows and stunning views of the sunrise through towering coconut palms. Enjoy the charm of the blue room with traditional Hawaiian vaulted ceilings, ceiling fan and large windows. Tucked away on its own with a full bathroom, a private patio, a/c and glimpses of the Ko’olau Mountains, the mango room is the largest bedroom, with both a king and a twin bed.

Every room has views to the garden and windows that open to tradewind breezes. Comfortable tropical-themed furnishings and art are tasteful and cool. Treat yourself to your own piece of paradise near one of the best beaches in Hawaii.

This property is rented for periods of 30 consecutive days or more at any one time. The property will be made exclusively available to the renter for a full period of 30-days, regardless of length of actual stay. The 30-day rental period will be communicated to guest upon booking. Kailua Beach House

Great 3 bedroom - 2.5 bath + great outdoor shower and outdoor patio. One bedroom + bath has window unit AC that cools great. Breezy throughout rest of house, especially evenings and nights. 5 minute walk to beautiful Kailua beach. All kitchen amenities, washer - dryer, fans, beach toys, cruiser bikes, parking, fenced beautiful backyard.

Perfect Location

What a perfect location! Only a 2 minute walk to the beach. My family thoroughly enjoyed spending the holidays at this cute yellow cottage. It was a short trip to Kaneohe where our daughter and son-in-law live. It was comfortable and relaxing. The beach gear was top rate. We enjoyed spending time in the beautiful yard. My daughter and I even worked out in the yard early in the morning. The only suggestion would be to perhaps a newer coffee pot would be nice. We will definitely consider staying here again.

A Wonderful stay at Kai Nani

Kai Nani is a fantastic home in Kailua that met our every need during our stay on Oahu. The property is spacious and well appointed, and a short 5 minute walk to one of the loveliest beaches in Hawaii. The manager, Uta, made sure everything was prepared for our arrival and was in touch all along the way. I highly recommend this property and hope to return soon!

Perfect island vacation hime

Great property for young kids. Can’t beat the location....less than 5 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful and not crowded at all, 3 minutes drive to restaurants and stores or you can easily bike anywhere. This place has all the amenities you could possible need. Uta was super responsive and on top of everything. The washer needed servicing while we were there but it was repaired quickly and no inconvenience to us at all. It was incredibly hot during our visit so the only thing that would have made it more comfortable was if they had AC in all the bedrooms ( AC only in master bedroom). Otherwise, wonderful stay!!!

Wonderful stay

Everything here was amazing. The property is just beautiful. You can spend hours in the backyard itself. Location is a block from the amazing beach. Walking distance to town and shopping. The property manager makes sure everything is perfect. The only thing missing was an air conditioner throughout the house. We stayed when the trade winds had died down and the humidity was horrible. A wall unit in each room would have helped. But overall just an amazing place to stay

Family vacation.

My family spent the week in this charming house in Kailua. There were four of us. It suited our needs perfectly. The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable and it was stocked with an endless supply of crisp white towels. It’s the perfect location with only a short walk to the beach. Something we did everyday! I highly recommend this house if you’re looking for a relaxing get away. We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful family house

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Kai Nani! The yard was perfect for my two munchkins to play and roam safely. Uta was extremely helpful and accommodating making sure we had a high chair and pack n play for our youngest. The kitchen was simple but FULLY stocked for cooking family meals (a must for traveling with small kids). We loved walking to the beach every morning for sunrise. The location was incredibly convenient for a quick dip in the ocean and home for naps. I was very impressed with the supply and quality of soft white linens and towels. Sometimes it's the simplest things like our welcome basket of fresh fruit and a comfortable bed that makes a stay that much better. This place had everything we needed and more. Mahalo for a beautiful time in Kailua!

Great family place

Wow, this was perfect for small children. Plenty of room, close to the beach and you don't have to cross the busy street. I have stayed at dozens of places in Kailua, this is one of the best. Good parking opens to a completely secure yard that is huge. Don't buy any sand toys, there are plenty at the house. You really just need to show up. We don't do a lot of cooking, but it has all you need to cook a meal. Thanks to Uta, you have a great place. Look forward to our next visit.

Amazing place to chill out and absorb the vibe

We had a wonderful stay here in Kailua, my wife & I & two teenagers. The house is an absolute comfortable delight. Everything we all needed for the beach ( 5 minutes from the door ), pushbikes to scoot round the neighbourhood and everything you need in the kitchen to cook in if you feel like. We really connected with Kailua and this home & would be back in a heartbeat. The owners were a delight to liaise with, responsive to local queries, suggestions for things to do, places to see & where to eat. Very special, many thanks, great memories.

Lots of Room for Kids and Family

We really enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. Our son, daughter in law and two granddaughters joined us and this house was perfect. The master is off a short hall from the kitchen and provides complete privacy. This room is air conditioned and we were very comfortable. Never heard the baby cry once. The yard has plenty of space for kick ball, Frisbee, and the small patio on the back hillside gives a nice place for the adults to watch the kids play. Kitchen was well stocked, the other rooms quite comfortable. We stay in Hawaii at least one a year and have endured smaller units and were so happy for a large living area and separate bed rooms for the kids and grandkids. We had our choice of gas or charcoal grills and the kitchen was large enough to prepare all the other Thanksgiving trimmings. Now let me say that the property manager, Uta, will make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. For example, Uta even arranged for a high chair and crib for our 7 month old granddaughter. We have rented other property from Uta in the past and always have had a very positive experience. Over the years, we have rented in Kailua many times without the same satisfaction. The walk to the beach does not require crossing any busy streets, and the beach access goes to an area that is not busy with people. Sorry, we already have tentatively reserved this property for Next Thanksgiving. But if you want a great family get a way at some other time, this place will more that make you happy.

Charming & sweet beachside paradise!

Fantastic stay! Such a cute cottagey house set in a beautiful, tropical yard, both spacious & private, great for kids to run around in & family to relax in, surrounded by the gentle sway of coconut trees. Just a short walk to the best part of Kailua Beach, wonderful! Aloha!

Tranquil bliss sunrise to sunset

My family hoped to find a relaxing destination home meeting our needs: walk to a beach, near shopping and restaurants, wifi and enough beds. This beautiful home was everything we could have asked for and more. The beach is gorgeous and the water warm and welcoming. boogie boarding in December is serious fun here. My sons fell in love with the outdoor shower. The beds and linens were fresh and clean providing an excellent nights sleep. We had beach towels and kitchen supplies to meet our every need. We LOVED the 3 min drive or leisurely walk to Whole Foods and many terrific spots for an easy, delicious meal. The owners clearly love nature as the yard has beautiful, mature plants and a spacious lawn. I spent many hours outside reading, cooled by a steady, calm ocean breeze. I started most mornings and ended most evenings strolling along the long, soft, white sand beach just down the lane. We used the grill and spent many evenings happily relaxing with plenty of space and privacy for all. Wifi was excellent from every room. My teenage children remarked this was hands down their favorite vacation place, ever! Oh, and as I had been to Oahu many times but never in Kailua, we loved going on a local ocean drive north....simply incredible.

Love this house!

My daughter’s family and I were in Hawaii for her son’s wedding. Kai Nani’s location was perfect for us - a short walk to the beach and easy access to Kailua town and Lanikai for pre wedding preparations. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into this rental, right down to the bikes we used to run some of our errands and the comfy beach chairs. The home itself was very clean, cute, and cozy with a décor that was so bright and cheerful and very Hawaiian. The home had everything you could need and then some. The kitchen was well equipped, so we could cook with all the fresh produce we brought home from the local farmers’ market. The patio table and chairs accommodated the whole family for dinner, as did the interior dining table. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds, and it was heavenly to lay and read in the afternoon while the island breeze ruffled the white sheers on the windows. The pictures do not do the yard justice. A colorful variety of island plantings encircle the well-manicured fenced yard. There was plenty of parking and room to pull out onto the road. The property manager, Uta, was so accommodating and helpful. She had a well stocked ‘goodie’ basket on the table when we arrived. I highly recommend this home to anyone planning a vacation in Kailua.

Amazing and cute house with all you need!

We booked our trip the week before we left, and Uta was very accommodating with us, and very helpful in getting us all the information we needed for getting around the island. The house was fantastic, we loved all the amenities, the closed in back yard, how close it was to the beach, and everything in town. We had a BBQ with our friends who live in Kailua, played bocce ball, and relaxed. We would highly recommend this house for your next stay in Kailua!

This house was AMAZING!

When my wife and I got engaged it was an easy decision for us to get married in Kailua. Seeing as my wife is from Kailua and grew up there. We dicided that instead of staying with family that we wanted to get our own place to stay with some friends. Kai Nani was an amazing choice. There were six of us staying there and it was the perfect size for all of us and each couple got they're own bathroom, and one of our favorite parts was the outdoor shower. The management for this property was absolutely amazing and couldn't be any better. The house was very clean when we got there and there was even a personal note written to us with a gift basket filled with treats congratulating us on our marriage. It was a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed. And I can't forget to mention how resaonable the price was. If we ever need to stay on our own again or know anyone who does we will DEFFINATLY be choosing to stay here again. We loved it.

Dream vacation

Kai Lani is the perfect family vacation home! Beautiful yard for the kids to play outside, beautifully decorated and the kitchen is equipped with everything you may need. Excellent location, near the beach - we loved how there is a tree at the beach, a short walk to the right once you reach the sand, where the kids could play in the shade. Near coffee shops, juice shops, wholefoods, restaurants, shopping... just perfect! The bicycles were perfect for us too, we rode them in the morning to go get a coffee and rode them to the grocery store when we ran out of something. We can't wait to come back and stay at Kai Lani again!

AMAZING! ALL AROUND!

Kai Nani was perfect for my family vacation. The pictures do not do the beautiful yard justice. You can hear the ocean from the back yard. Uta was amazing every step of the way. The home came with so many amenities. We were visiting friends who live in Honolulu, and they came over three different times where we BBQ and enjoyed the lovely yard with plenty of room to spare. It was more than I imagined and we cannot wait to come back!!

This house was perfect for us and our toddler. The yard was wonderful and the house was welcoming and cozy! The Hawaiian welcome basket was a nice touch. The beach is very close and it is fantastic. We were sad to leave, but hope to be back soon!
