Inside, the space is thoughtfully curated with calming neutrals and soft coastal blues. Highlights include:

The apartment is attached to the owner’s residence yet fully private, creating a quiet, boutique-style retreat in a serene residential setting.

Please note: The unit is accessed via a private exterior staircase and may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations.

Well-behaved pets are welcome with prior approval. Dogs must remain on a leash (maximum 6’) while outdoors and may not be left unattended outside. Cats must remain indoors at all times. The hillside setting makes the home best suited for small to medium-sized pets.

Just 1.2 miles to the beach and 5 minutes to downtown Laguna, you’re perfectly positioned for art galleries, cafés, hiking trails, and day trips to LA or San Diego.

I was never refunded for my last night. She told me to leave early, but never paid me back. There is absolutely no privacy whatsoever, it actually scared me how very unsafe this vrbo is. Everything that’s promised is not necessarily delivered. It is completely up to her. So, regardless what the website says, she will do whatever she wants. This was the strangest set up I’ve ever seen on a vrbo in my life! Unbelievable. Total lack of respect and actually keeping my money after I didn’t even get to stay my last Saturday night, just crazy.

Ashley’s review is surprising given the record of her stay. During her visit, she communicated daily with numerous personal requests and expressed appreciation throughout her time here. Near the end of her reservation, she requested to leave three days early. I explained that it wasn’t necessary, but she went ahead and submitted a change through Vrbo herself, ultimately departing one day early. Vrbo’s automated system handled the recalculation and refund—hosts have no ability to alter those figures. Several months after departure, she began reaching out again with repeated accusations regarding a single night’s payment. I encouraged her multiple times to contact Vrbo’s bookkeeping department so they could review the charges directly, but she never did. Vrbo has since confirmed that no claim or inquiry was ever opened. This property has welcomed many thoughtful and respectful guests over the years, reflected in consistent 5-star reviews and returning visitors who describe their stays as private, peaceful, and exactly as advertised. The documented facts show that her refund and communication were handled entirely in accordance with Vrbo policy.

I share the property with my two Ragdoll cats, Spencer and Grace, who take their job as quiet companions very seriously. They’re friendly but tend to keep to themselves, usually sunbathing or birdwatching from their favorite windows.

When I’m not filming for my wellness and lifestyle projects, you’ll find me walking the beach trails, rearranging flowers on the patio, or sipping tea while watching the sun dip into the Pacific. I take pride in maintaining a clean, beautiful space where every guest feels cared for and at ease.

We look forward to sharing a little Laguna serenity with you — Spencer, Grace, and I promise to make your stay as peaceful as the view.
