Blessing Cottage: A Vintage Cottage 2 blocks from the beach

Blessing Cottage is a charming, vintage cottage located two blocks from one of Laguna's most popular surfing, skimming, and boogie boarding beaches. Main Beach, downtown Laguna, and the Art Festivals, are all within an easy five to ten minute stroll. The convenient location, plus the many amenities of the cottage, create the ultimate Laguna Beach vacation home.

The cottage features hardwood floors throughout, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, two bedrooms each with a queen-size bed and a dining area that seats six. The lush gardens in both the front and back yards provide a tranquil retreat. Enjoy cooking and dining under the grape arbor on the large back patio, overlooking the lovely landscaped garden. There is an outdoor warm water shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
The cottage has been lovingly furnished by the owners with treasures from their travels. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. We have a futon that is appropriate for a child. Original art adorns the walls, and the bookcase is filled with many interesting books and treasures. Everything needed for fun at the beach has been provided, including beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, umbrella, and beach towels. There is an outdoor shower with hot water so you can rinse off after the beach.

Come to Blessing Cottage to experience the very best that Laguna Beach has to offer. We rent by the week, from Saturday to Saturday.

Cozy Cottage

Great location and cute cottage. We loved the honey feel, gardens, and two block walk to the beach. Not to mention it is so close to cute shops and great hiking trails for walking or biking.

Great stay - walking distance to everything!

Great little place to stay with my wife and 3 young boys. The cottage was perfectly sized and the fenced in yard was a great place to look at the garden. Very close walking distance to everything you need - beech, grocery store, and restaurants.

Quaint property with a great location

Enjoyed our third stay at The Blessing Cottage. This time we were joined a couple days by a friend and a couple days later family joined us for 2 nights. They all thoroughly enjoyed their stay. It is a great location to get to the beach, restaurants, pickleball courts, shops and foothill hiking paths. Highly recommend.

Winter Getaway

Blessing Cottage and Laguna Beach are great spots to escape winter. Debra is a wonderful host and the cottage is cute and comfortable. We loved the location and beautiful outside spaces.

Stay in Laguna Beach

Beautiful charming artistic cottage with incredible succulent gardens. We really enjoyed soaking up the sun while sitting in the garden, watching the birds. It was a short but very steep 4 block walk to Laguna beach which was a bit of a challenge for old knees but so gorgeous upon arrival. We'd like to stay again!

Beautiful patio, great location (we only needed a car for adventures out of town), and the house had everything we needed for cooking and going to the beach. Our young adult children loved it.

A cottage that lives up to its name.

We were truly blessed to have been able to stay at Blessing Cottage over Christmas. It is perfectly located -- with walkable access to the beach, the downtown area, and the HIP District. The cottage is charming. The backyard is beautiful. We couldn't have asked for more.

Such a cozy cottage

The Blessing cottage is perfectly named; because it is truly a blessing to stay there! It's decorated so cute, the garden is just beautiful and the beds are really comfortable. Debra is the most wonderful host, and all could not have been more perfect. I feel so refreshed after having stayed there, and cannot recommend the cottage enough. Such a Laguna Beach gem!

Comfy Cottage

This is a charming and comfortable cottage, as advertised, with very comfortable beds, great washer and dryer, well provided and functional kitchen. The original artwork, the book collection, and especially the welcoming back yard with its beautifully displayed and integrated variety of succulents make this property unique. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely stay

We had a really wonderful stay at Blessings Cottage. Communication with Debra as seamless, checking easy, and the cottage had real charm. Our family of 4 was very comfortable and appreciated use of their high chair and crib very much. The fam surfed at Thalia St and walked all over sampling restaurants. Parking is ample in the driveway and the location can’t be beat for convenience. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Truly a blessing cottage

Family of 4 get away. This is a perfect cottage in a perfect location. You can easily walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, grocery store, parks… everything within easy reach. Great home base. Kitchen is well equipped. Great having washer and dryer on site. We really didn’t have any needs that were not met. Thank you for sharing this amazing place with us

Blessing Cottage Spring 2024

Perfect location in the heart of one of the best towns on the planet. Beaches, restaurants, grocery, boutiques all just a few minutes' walk with a trolley stop nearby to take you all up and down the coast. The house is as promised in every way with everything you need for a SoCal getaway. The yard is worthy of arboretum status and provides wonderful birdwatching opportunities. Excellent communication from host.

Magical garden

The cottage is charming with a relaxing front yard and magical back garden. It served our girls trip group of mom daughter and friends. They loved being close to the local teens “surf hang out” and easy walking to shops on PCH. The house itself could use some repairs and updates and the fans were critical to cool without AC, but the charm far surpasses and I would love to take the girls there every summer.

Best cottage

We have stayed here a few times. It is an amazing place, with all the necessities and amazing location. The owner is very communicative and responsive. She makes sure everything is to our liking. The cottage is so close to the beach. We have stayed for Thanksgiving a few times now and every time there's enough dishes to make a full Thanksgiving dinner. It is perfect. The backyard is absolutely amazing. It feels like you're not in the middle of the city.

Cute but outdated

Hot in the house during the day. Needs ceiling fans, screen windows, appliance updates, and short on bedroom electrical outlets. Beautiful back patio. Needs window blinds very badly that you can’t see in.
