Stop wishing you were near the beach when you could be right on your own private beach. Enjoy spectacular views of Barnstable Harbor, Sandy Neck, the best sunsets on Cape Cod, and all the beautiful boats from your comfortable Adirondack chairs. Step off the backyard and take a swim, cast a fishing pole, collect shells or just stick your feet in the sand. Sit back in the evening on the screen porch as the sun goes down and watch the boats go by as the people end their day at Sandy Neck. Large outdoor gas grill for barbecuing lunch or cooking up that fish you caught during the day. Walk to the marina and enjoy Whale Watching, Charter Boat Fishing, Seafood at the Osterville Fish Too Restaurant, Dining or Cocktails overlooking the harbor at the Magnificent Mattakeese Restaurant

Nice Beachfront Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay in a cute cottage on the water. Beachfront property was important to us and this property delivered. Also, we like to cook and the kitchen was newly renovated and was well appointed with items that we needed.

The Perfect House

This house and location couldn't have been more perfect for us, a couple on their first vacation with a young toddler. The space is comfortably small, thoughtfully stocked, and the view is incredible. Being able to just walk a few feet to the beach, and then down the road to lunch or dinner, made for a low stress vacation for our family. We would definitely stay here again and again and again!

Fantastic

This was our second year staying at this gem and, once again, it was fantastic. Being on the beach/water can’t be beat, especially with 2 small kids. We took full advantage of the beautiful lawn for coffee in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. Bob and Sally have the place in great condition and can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful week on the water

Exactly as described! The view was outstanding. You could see the water from the porch and from the living room. Convenient to a nice seafood restaurant and a fish market. Did I mention the great view? Small but comfortably furnished. Very responsive hosts.

I had the most relaxing time! The cottage is cozy & had everything I needed! It was very clean, which is something you don’t always get, despite listing otherwise. The view never disappointed, be it daytime or sunsets, which were fantastic! It’s close to so many things, golf courses, brewery, marina that had whale watches, grocery stores & other shopping close by…. Sally was fantastic! She responded quickly to a few questions I had. It was the perfect vaca! Thank u!

We had a delightful, week-long stay at this cottage. It was our second stay. The private beach was just steps from the well kept yard. We loved that we could see the ocean at all times. We enjoyed the screened-in porch, the yard, and the beach each day. Everything about the cottage made it an easy week. The Wi-Fi was great, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the linens were provided. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. And the sunsets never disappoint! We will return!

Absolutely lovely!

Our stay at the ocean cottage was lovely. The view and outdoor space is incredible. The cottage itself is clean and tidy and with great seaside decor. We had a baby and a toddler so it was so easy to be right on the water and not have to go anywhere to have a day at the beach. The beach is very quiet and calm. The owners were also very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely come again!

Always fantastic!

We have stayed here many times but have not been back in several years. Our kids are now teenagers and the house was just as perfect as we remember! We loved the new kitchen and the entire house is always clean and neat. Bob and Sally think of everything you could ever need. We will be back again!

A perfect week

This was our first stay at this cottage, which has many, many regulars who return year after year. Previous reviewers have uniformly given this cottage perfect ratings -- and now we are so pleased to do the same. Our very high expectations (based on others' reviews) were exceeded in every way. Indeed, everything about the cottage is exceptional. We will be back next year, and look forward to someday being a regular ourselves!

the property was unbelievable . it was perfect for us. clean and comfortable just the right size. the back porch was just as awesome as the back yard. there are no words for how wonderful Bob and Sally are and how well they treated us. 5 stars are not enough for them or there house.

Absolutely adorable cottage! Perfect for a couple or small family. The view was outstanding and some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. We rented a kayak which was so fun to use right off the private beach. Lovely short walk to restaurants and marina - we loved the location and will be back! Sally was such a pleasure to communicate with and very quick to respond. Bonus - ice cream boat pulled right up to the beach!

Great place

Amazing location, loved the yard and beach right out the back door. Swam and watched the boats go by. Sunsets were amazing. Kitchen was great and enjoyed all our meals on the screened in porch. Our family of 4 had a great time!

Great beach vacation

We came to the Bob and Sallys rental for our Sons first beach vacation. The location is perfect. Having a yard to spend time on right by the beach was very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The beach front location made for easy sand/water time and the evening sunsets are the best we’ve experienced on the Cape. The cottage is exactly as described and had everything we needed for our week stay. Some other highlights: the great backyard lawn, awesome back porch, and the easy walk to restaurants/ice cream. Thank you Bob & Sally and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Wonderful for first time vacation with a little one

We took our daughter on her first beach vacation and having immediate access to the water was a major plus. The cottage is also a single floor so if you're kid is walking, no need to worry about safety there. Outdoor property is well groomed and nicely decorated. The view is incredible at sunset! Lastly, Sally and Bob, thank you for this great family trip!

Perfect Cottage

A small cottage by the Bay that was extremely well maintained, upgraded and very clean. Every detail covered and we wanted for nothing. It worked in all weather conditions whether hot with air conditioner, large enclosed porch with full bay and beach view, out on the lawn or right on the beach out front. Wonderful hosts. Gorgeous sunsets. Yup, we’ll go again.

Perfect in every way!

Upon arrival the cottage was pristine (with all the extras provided w Covid). Everything is thought of for an enjoyable vacation & owners in welcoming & hospitable communication. Weather was beautiful & very hot & the cottage was cool & comfortable. From all linens to comfy beds to everything needed in kitchen to the amazing yard, the cottage is the perfect vacation home! No doubt will return!

Fabulous Family Vacation

The cottage is clean, quaint, and the owner's have anticipated your every need and provided you with every amenity needed plus more to ensure a fabulous stay. The location right on the beach was absolutely perfect; it allowed our children to go back and forth from the house to the beach with ease. The views were breathtaking and walking through the tidal pools was so much fun. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and felt right at home. The owners were easy to communicate with, quick to respond to questions, although we didn't have need to communicate with them during our stay because everything was provided, clean, and in good working order. This was our first experience renting a home and it certainly went well and it was a pleasure!
