Come enjoy the great views of the beach/Gulf of Mexico from this property! With an upside-down floor plan, which maximizes the view with the living space being located on the top floor of this multi-level home. The casual yet comfortable interior surely guarantees you a relaxing escape. This property has 5 bedrooms which include a 4 twin bed bunkroom. Having 4.5 baths is plenty to accommodate all guests easily. The house is located directly across from the dune walkover to the beach. It is located on the quiet end of the island. It is only a short driving distance to the Historic Strand Shopping District, Galveston's Historic District, The Grand Opera House, Bryan Museum, and many other favorite tourist attractions.

This is a beautiful property and very convenient. The elevator was wonderful to have. It worked very well for our family if all ages. It had everything that we needed and was very clean. Would love to stay there again!

An elevator convert

The house was perfect for my family ranging from 20 months to 77 years. The large communal area on the top floor had great views of the gulf and the entrance to galveston bay. The elevator was very useful for unloading and loading cars at the beginning and end of the trip and was great for my mother with bad arthritis in the knees. Overall, very enjoyable and a great home for a family trip.

1st stay at Galveston

Everything was absolutely superb! Staff was friendly and helpful. We all loved location and the quiet . Only thing wrong was elevator was broken, but not their fault. Part was backordered. We all got in shape with the steps! The surprise gift was so kind. Enjoyed on our first evening. My close family was 10. Worked perfectly. Thank you also to the owner on sharing your beautiful home!

Most Beautiful Beach House!!

The house was absolutely beautiful, honestly better than advertised. It was right across from the walkway to the beach and the community was very well kept. I was told by family members that picked up our keys the day of check in, that one of the property management employees seemed a bit rude and suggested we leave the pool area if it was too crowded but other than that, everything was GREAT! The home was wonderfully decorated, clean, and fully stocked with most all things that we needed - tons of blankets/towels, yummy smelling shower products, the CUTEST under the stairs play room for kids, all the kitchen utensils, at least two pack-n-plays and a twin stow away bed, beach chairs, and even a cart/wagon to tote things to the beach. The one thing I wish it had, and maybe I just couldn't find it, is a baby gate for the top of the main stairs. Also, the bed sheets in the master were very hot and felt they had been slept on a few too many times before us. For those to be the only negatives is a major win for us!! I would and will suggest this house to others looking to book!...Thank you for a warm and inviting stay! :)

Summer weekend

We have stayed in this property once before and love the beach town location. The size of the home is perfect for family and guests with everyone having their own space. Our section of the beach was nice and quiet too. We’d definitely come back again

Labor Day Weekend

Overall the location of this property is fantastic. It's a short drive to in town restaurants, shops, etc. The overall idea of the resort is fantastic too but the execution of it is not so great. The resort itself is poorly maintained and could use some major TLC. There was a tampon applicator in the yard of our rental, which was a huge indicator of the condition of the home. At one time I am sure this was a great property, but over time it has a lot of wear & tear and requires some effort to make it feel fresh again. For example there are places on the wall where work was done and the drywall had not been fixed properly or painted over the right color like the rest of the wall. There were scuff marks on pretty much all the walls. The sofa and chair covers were worn and dingy looking, and there was dust in corners, behind bedside table, and around master toliet area. The shower tile in the master was just nasty. The pots and pans were icky and need to be replaced and there was just a lot of junk in the drawers in the kitchen area. Some of the positives were the basketball hoop on the porch which our boys loved and the layout of the home was great for our family. It was a short walk to the beach, but it would have been nice if the boardwalk could have been made to accommodate golf carts which is a great amenity at other beach resorts we have stayed at along the TX coast. The private beach was great and there weren't a lot of people there so it was nice and relaxing. The boys visited the pool (which we had to pay an additional fee to use) and said that it was nice but clearly run down as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but was disappointed in the condition of this property. It is a great property, but just needs some TLC like the resort.

Great Get Away

The property was just what we wanted. A modern, spacious house in a quiet neighborhood with views of the ocean and walking distance to the beach. It was also close enough to all of the restaurants and shopping that we were able to conveniently run back and forth to both, with just a 5-10 min drive. The only critical feedback I would offer is that there were several things in need of maintenance. It didn’t effect our stay, but there were towel bars and toilet paper holders hanging from the walls I’m some of the bathrooms…odd for such a nice place because it would be such an easy fix. Additionally, it wasn’t as clean as I was hoping. On the surface everything was in order, but the showers in a couple of the bathrooms were moldy, as was the washing machine. And the grill was disgusting….totally unusable. It was something that was advertised as part of the amenities available and we were disappointed we weren’t able to take advantage of it. These things didn’t ruin our stay, but we were surprised because again, all things that are so easy to resolve and maintain considering the $1000.00 per night rental rate. Having said that, all in all, our stay was wonderful. The house had games and beach chairs for our use. Xfinity cable and streaming services that were easy to use and a well appointed kitchen that was great for staying in and cooking. As a personal side note, the king and double beds were way to soft for my taste, but the bunk room beds were super firm and just right for this Goldilocks ;) I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking and would stay again…I would just make sure the handyman and housekeeper get in ahead of my stay.

Fun at East Beach

All in all, our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We felt safe and we all loved the calming atmosphere. The wine and cheese welcome basket was a nice surprise. It was also nice to have access to beach toys and chairs. The only thing that I would have preferred was access to the elevator for loading supplies and luggage. The house was clean and beautifully decorated and we would definitely come back again.

Great location!

The house was wonderful and we had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our family time. Very comfortable! We have a couple of recommendations - provide more towels (enough for 12 people - with beach access you'll be taking lots of showers) and more garbage bags (we brought some from home, but ran out of both supplies). All the stairs provided a great leg workout - an added bonus for those looking to burn a few calories, but probably wouldn't be good for those who have health limitations. It would be great if guests had access to the elevator during unloading and loading.

Great Family Getaway Property

We recently stayed at this property with our friends and young children and enjoyed the space and the number of people it could comfortably accommodate. The close proximity to the beach walkway was great for young kids and made it easy to commute back and forth to the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and the views are wonderful. The property could use some maintenance as there are several walls with scuffs and marks and many bathrooms had towel racks, etc. that had fallen off the walls and not replaced leaving holes -- purely aesthetics but at the price of the rental, it would have been nice to seen repaired. Be prepared to climb several flights of stairs with your luggage as the elevator is not allowed to be used by visitors. Overall a nice stay for a week at the beach with family and friends!
