The house was a great location as it is right on the beach and very close to everything in town. Plus it’s a private and quiet gated community. The house is beautiful inside and made for a great vacation. However the grill in the front was broke as well as the fire pit but a grill was provided on the back patio. We had an issue with the front door keypad lock and our host did fix it but it quit working the next day.

Beautiful beachfront house that is also 5 minutes from the center of Galveston, a combination that is hard to beat!Our large family and the dogs had a wonderful long weekend. The host/owner is very responsive and accommodating.

The house was in impeccable order, everything worked, and it was perfectly situated in Galveston for us. The host was preemptive in giving instructions before our arrival.

Outside fire pit turns on with a lighter but wouldn’t stay lit so couldn’t enjoy. Indoor fireplace wouldn’t turn on, half the jets on hot tub don’t work, no working outlets around grill, outside string lights and speakers are also not able to be turned on. Light in elevator not working and not a single light on first floor entry way would turn on. The shades in living room do not work and had to stand on a chair and lift them over my head to get them down so that I could have privacy. No way to get it back up after lowering without a ladder. Worst part about the stay was not being able to enjoy the patio in the evenings because of swarms of mosquitoes. The grass and garden beds in the back are way overgrown and the house not treated for pests. I was told I could help myself to a pesticide spray you attach to a hose, which was not acceptable to ask a guest to handle, especially while having my dog there. It was so unbearable I did end up spraying the yard and deck which helped tremendously but this should have been handled PRIOR to guests coming. I then had to breathe that in instead of the fresh beach air I came for. This was way too much money to pay for a place that lacks basic maintenance and upkeep. I would not stay here again.

The location of the property was great! Fantastic view of the beach and gulf with very easy access. The property manager was very friendly and easy to work with. The layout of the house worked well for us.But... the hot tub is in rough shape, the grill(s) are not good, there is a bunch of junk in the garage, there is a rusted out glider/swing on the patio, there are rusted out speakers on the deck, and all speakers are connected to nothing at all. Roaches have taken up residence.I hate to have a negative review because I enjoyed my time in Galveston and the house has a lot going for it. It just needs some attention to put it at the top of the list.

The location of this property was excellent. The property was well-maintained and provided all the amenities we needed and more. Anna, the property manager was very responsive and provided excellent customer service.

Beautiful home on the beach.

Beautiful home on the beach. We enjoyed the views and the space. My family was comfortable. The only thing we didn’t get to enjoy was the grill because it was under maintenance. Other than that it was a great experience

Fantastic, perfect! Clean and can’t beat the location and views. Anna was super helpful. Everyone was so comfortable. Well appointed everything. Just brought our own coffee maker because no one is a fan of k cups. Had everything else we needed.

A&M Graduation Weekend

Host was great. Very easy to communicate with. Pictures online are not an accurate depiction of what you’re renting. Maybe from years ago? Deck furniture needs a major refresh, and not enough for people to use. Bedding on all the beds was very dated and needs major refresh. Towels offered to shower with were thin and old. Blinds in master don’t work. Broken AC hanging off the back of the house.For what the weekend cost as a whole I was expecting a little more I guess. Neighborhood was very safe. Easy access to the beach. Lots of restaurants close by.

Smith family vacation 2024

Very little deck furniture so not all eleven adults could enjoy being outside together. Large decks so the small children could play on deck. Lots of stairs from decks and inside so had to purchase baby gates for 18 month old. Beautiful furnishings and very comfortable! Unable to regulate shades in master bedroom and living area. Kitchen very nicely stocked. Did purchase tea pitchers which we left for next guests. Had a fantastic time as Anna came to our rescue with extra beds. Ownership changed from February when we rented until arrival date. So six bedroom changed to five bedroom but with Annas help we made it work and she was an absolute doll meeting our needs. Loved being on east end of Galveston. So close to everything.

We appreciate your suggestions, and I’m happy to share that we’ve made some improvements based on your comments: We’ve purchased additional outdoor furniture to ensure there’s enough seating for everyone to enjoy meals together on the deck. We will provide baby gates for guests who request them to make stays with young children more convenient. We’ve ordered new motors for the blinds in the master bedroom and living room, so now our guests will be able to easily regulate light and privacy. We’re glad to hear you had a pleasant stay! Great Stay!

We just spent 4 days here. It was 8 of us and 2 small dogs. The location is perfect on the east end of the island adjacent to Stewart beach. We arrived an hour early and Anna (property manager) and another person were still there cleaning up. Anna allowed us to bring all our stuff inside while they finished up. She also took time to bring an elderly handicapped person in our group upstairs in the elevator. She was patient with him as she taught him how to properly use the elevator. Anna was extremely responsive the entire rental process. There is one bedroom on the main floor with en suite walk in shower. Three bedrooms are located one floor above. One of them is the master suite with large whirlpool tub and extra large shower. The last bedroom is on top floor by itself. It does not have a door and it has a half bath. It does has its own deck facing the beach. One thing that impressed me was the wireless Internet coverage and speed. They did a great job making sure the entire home is covered. This is extremely important when working while on vacation. Beach access is about 100 yards away via a private walkway. You cannot access the beach straight from the house. The front yard is fenced in and this made it easy to let the dogs out to do their business. The house was stock with all the starter supplies and the kitchen had all you needed to cook and eat. We had a great time and would not hesitate to come back here again!
