Winter Vacation

We loved this stay. The condo was clean and the view was amazing. If you want to see whales, this is the place. We had a couple of issues and contacted the owner..he called right away!

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed the quiet location, walk to a private beach, nice pool. We went in to Cabo once and decided it was too busy and little parking so we really didn't need to go back! One plumbing problem when we arrived was fixed within an hour of letting him know. Definitely would recommend and stay again!

Dated but comfortable stay

Everything needs updating including furniture and electrical access features. The reception was sketchy, some things were not functioning, and the outdoor grill was not useable-all rusted out and too funky to clean up. Overall we gave it a 5 because the location for older folks is easy access, lower level entry with a nice balcony view. A very kind owner with helpful suggestions. ;-)

Beautiful place to stay!

Fantastic and beautiful!!!! Identical to listing. Incredible view from master bedroom and patio of the ocean. Wonderful staff at the local pool bar / restaurant filled with great information regarding local excursions. The owner Ali was amazing! I would highly recommend this place for your next Cabo trip.

Relaxing vacation in Cabo

Enjoyed our stay here at Missiones. The condo was comfortable and the view was spectacular. The beach below was nice as well, you will need beach shoes. The sand is coarse. I will tell my friends to visit here. Thank you Ali for letting us rent your condo. We had a great time in Cabo.

Awesome Location

This place is great! Best part - 3 flights of stairs and you're on an incredible beach. It's a bit rocky but the snorkeling and swimming are fantastic. Second best part - Ali the owner. Extremely accommodating. Third best part - the staff at Misiones - extremely helpful and courteous. Fourth best part - the condo was comfortable, very well appointed, and a fantastic porch over looking the Sea of Cortez. Had a wonderful stay wouldn't hesitate to book again!

The worst VRBO experience in 20 years

Very disappointed with conditions of this property… Expected better - from glasses and dishes to furniture and floors… My wife had to spend a day cleaning and sanitizing everything. Outdated, broken patio furniture. Sent e-mail with my concerns to the owner… he did not bother to respond. Too bad, because location is quite nice .

Amazing location for beach and snorkeling

We had a wonderful time!. My only wish was that there was a rack for drying wet towels and clothing. The dryer was not efficient. I would I recommend this spot if you want a quiet beach and amazing snorkeling!!! ****

Amazing property!

This property is an amazing location. Everyone is so helpful. The property manager was so quick to respond to any of our needs. We had a lovely stay. I unequivocally gave five stars. Just a few quick suggestions: some new towels, pillows and linens would give this place an elevated luxury feel. However, with that said this place easily deserves 5 stars. The views are amazing. And the condo had everything we needed for our week long stay.

Beautiful location! Beautiful view.

The property is beautiful. A wonderful vacation spot. My partner and and I and our teenage kids spent a week and enjoyed the relaxation and beauty. Lots of towels and amenities available. Snorkeling gear and Beach chairs available in the unit. The community pool and swim up bar was nice. There are some minor upkeep issues in the unit to fix, re: leaking toilet in back bedroom. The furnishings and decor is dated and could use a refresh. But all in all the place was very comfortable. I will return!!!!

the resort is wonderful. the condo needs a little work

The resort of Missiones Del Cabo is absolutely fantastic. Clean, well maintained, safe, close to the beach and has a wonderful Tiki Bar. We highly recommend the resort. The condo is very nice but needs better maintenance. Several lights were out and these are not easily replacable bulbs. It took me a long time to figure out the TV. There should be instructions clearly printed out for one to follow. Also, you cannot get anything except, netflix, Prime and youtube. No network or local TV. I will say the condo is very well stocked. The owner has provided all the items needed to enjoy time on the beach including snorkels, fins, chairs and unbrellas. co

Beautiful, worth the view

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this unit the beginning of January 2017. The view from the kitchen, living room, master bedroom and patio is fantastic. The beach is just down a flight of 50 steps. It is a coarse sand “private” beach and when we were there, sparsely populated. At times, it felt very much our own private beach. If you snorkel, you’ll be in heaven – just steps into the water was some of the best snorkeling we’ve had in a long time and so much better than Chileno Beach north of the condo complex. The unit conveniently supplies large beach towels and 2 beach chairs. The unit was clean and neat. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The beds are firm and each bedroom had a lot of storage in the large closets with plenty of hangers. The big sectional in the living room is a great place to lounge and read a book. There is a washer/dryer in the unit but we did not use it. This condo complex is quiet day and night, very peaceful. Communication with the owner and on-site manager was easy and prompt. Security is vigilant, the first couple of days we were stopped and asked what unit we were in. We felt very safe here and everywhere we went in Cabo as well as a day trip to Todos Santos.

Amazing views and location

Overall, we had a five star experience. Location was fantastic and close to everything in Los Cabos. The unit was comfortable and well appointed, beds were great, and the view is breath-taking. In all of Misiones Del Cabo Resort, I would argue that Ali's unit has the best view and location. And, it is literally a two-minute walk down to the beach. Yes, there are steps down to it and there are rocky spots on it. For a young middle aged couple (late 30's/ 40's) and our 11 year old daughter it never felt like a chore to get down, though, and there is a good sized section that is both swimmable with softer sand. We felt safe both swimming and snorkeling on the private beach and never felt crowded. This is the Pacific Ocean, though, and there can be some good sized waves. We are strong swimmers and love getting tossed around a bit so it was perfect. The unit itself is very accomodating with plenty of dishes, spices, pots and pans, etc. We mainly used the kitchen for breakfasts and snacks, but it would be easy to prepare any meal of the day there. There are several sets of snorkel gear (masks, snorkels, and fins) in different shapes and sizes (we brought gear for our daughter and left it there, as well), a boogie board, and plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas provided for almost any family unit. There were even some binoculars that we used a couple of times. The resort was also a joy to experience. The pool bar/ restaurant onsite has great service and delicious, affordable food and drink. We enjoyed breakfast there and lunch on a few occassions and typically went out for dinners. They do offer a concierge service for tours and activities, as well, if you haven't pre-booked those. Jose helped us find private surf lessons that were priced similarly to what we found online and helped get everything set up and scheduled for us. The pool water was a perfect temperature and never felt crowded either. The grounds were well kept and beautiful, too. My only complaint about the resort is that the parking was kind of a pain. I will not knock Ali for this, though, as he was very clear in his warnings to me about renting a car rather than using Uber/ taxi services to get where we needed to be. It was just hard looking into the empty lot for the Misiones and not being allowed to park there. This issue is supposedly being resolved this week, though. We are very thankful that we found this and hope others get the chance to enjoy, as well.

Terribly unclean

This property has so much potential. Lovely location, close to the pool and the beach. Unfortunately it was so unclean. There was mouse poop everywhere. The kitchen floors around the appliances were disgusting. I have never stayed in a VRBO that was so unclean.

Highly Recommended -- the perfect patio

The apartment is conviently located, comfortable, and has an amazing patio with ocean view. The local each is a steep walk down and is pebbly, rather than sand. However, it is a short drive to Playa Chileno and Playa Santa Maria. both have lots of parking, beautiful white sand, and facilities. Both have good snorkling as well. The appartment is well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and towels. It could use more kitchenware and an upgrade in beds, but iwe streongly recommend it.

Spectacular view

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful location. The patio view was as good as you could hope for and the beach below is great for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing by the ocean. I had to deduct points because the queen bed was miserable to sleep on and the floors need a good scrubbing in the queen room and the perimeter of the kitchen. I would come back for sure, But I would have to add in the cost of buying a foam topper for one of the beds.

Stunning ocean views

We stayed for a week over Xmas and the unit was perfect! The pictures did not do the view from the patio justice. It was comfortable for our family of 4. Well appointed large bathrooms and they had a boogie board, snorkeling gear and tons of beach towels and chairs and umbrellas to use. The beach was just down the steps and had amazing snorkeling and no one was selling anything. Super private and beautiful! There is a market and a couple restaurants close and you can walk to Sunset Mona Lisa which was stunning. I would highly recommend this unit! We will be back. It was 10 minutes to Medano Beach if you want more action. So glad we found this place!

Absolutely excellent!

Didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back. Misiones staff was wonderful; COVID return tests right on the property and results emailed next day. Beautiful balcony; spent hours playing games at the table there. Fantastic location right by path to local beach. Lovely pools, one with arch view. Well kept condo grounds. We rented a car but there are plenty of taxis by the complex entrance. Free parking. Air conditioning worked very well. Very nice owner. Very good value. Seriously, we can’t wait to go back.
