Captains Quarters w/ a Shelter Cove Marina view

Welcome to our beautiful condo located in The Shelter Cove Marina. Come visit our condo and feel like you are at Home with our beautiful views of the Marina. The views and the quietness are relaxing and serene. Our gated complex has a newly renovated pool and hot tub which overlook the intracoastal waterway. Our one bedroom/2 bath condo is larger than most available. We purchased some new furnishings, including a new bed, in February 2023.

Watch the yachts, fishing boats and sightseeing expeditions travel in and out of the marina from this second floor condo in Captains Quarters. Don't miss the dolphins drifting in to entertain the visitors. A convenient buggy service is available free of charge, during the summer months, to take you to golf, the beach, dining and shopping in Palmetto Dunes. Don't worry about driving to shops, entertainment and restaurants, as a short walk takes you to all available in Shelter Cove. Every week is July 4th, as Tuesday nights in the summer fireworks light the skies of Shelter Cove. Fishing and island boat expeditions are available from the marina.

Walking distance to restaurants in Shelter Cove: Ela's restaurant is located steps away from the condo. For seafood, there's Scott's on the Marina, for the Sports Fans there is Top Dawg, if you like Mexican food, San Miguel's is a fan favorite. Another restaurant option is Bistro 17. If you would like to grab a quick bite for breakfast or lunch, try Daily Market Cafe. For the sweet tooth, you should try Hilton Head Social Bakery. Their pastries are amazing.

Free Buggy Service: Catch a free ride with the Palmetto Dunes Buggy! Available March - September. Hours: 8 AM - 9 PM Sunday - Wednesday, and till 10PM Thurs - Saturday. Extended Summer hours June - August. The Palmetto Dunes Buggy provides courtesy transportation within Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove. Visit the beach, golf courses, restaurants, shops and tennis courts as well as Shelter Cove Harbour, the Mall at Shelter Cove and the Plaza at Shelter Cove. This is an on demand service, and vehicles will be dispatched first come, first served, based on requests received. Vans generally arrive within 10 minutes of your request.

Water Sports in the Marina: Water Sports: Every conceivable water sport is available at Shelter Cove including deep-sea and inshore fishing charters, sport crabbing, sail and power boat rentals, sightseeing and nature excursions and dinner cruises. Encircling the harbour are delightful restaurants and friendly open-air cafes, shops and galleries. And at its center, standing watch over the harbour, is a commanding statue of King Neptune, one of the world's largest working sundials. The Ship's Store, which is located next door, offers bike rentals for your convenience.

We do not accept pets and we have a 3 night minimum. There is a parking pass fee of $35 paid directly to the pass office if you stay less than a week.

My stay the location was excellent as in the past. The check in process was smooth, efficient, and without any hiccups. The view from both balconies was awesome. I enjoyed early mornings and evenings taking in the view. Lastly, the unit was as clean as any townhouse, hotel, or condo that I have stayed in. That is very important to me!

Great Stay in Shelter Cove

Fantastic Location

We have stayed at this complex several times before, but never in this unit. Was not disappointed. Very clean and well maintained. So many units these days are devoid of spices and things like foil saran wrap, etc. This unit had them all. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely condo!

The condo was up to date and very comfortable. The area was fun with restaurants and shops. We brought our bikes and rode around the marina and to Palmetto Dunes every day. Riding bikes on the beach was great. Our biggest regret was we didnā€™t book for 2 weeks.

This was the perfect place for us. Quiet, clean, comfortable, private; all needed amenities - easy access to the Marina's shops and restaurants. We had some trouble operating the "smart" tv, but the owner Melinda was very responsive in helping fix the issue ,including enlisting the assistance of a very kind neighbor. All in all we would be delighted to be back.

Beautiful Amenities and Location!

This is a perfect condo and perfect location! All amenities anyone could possibly want are in this beautiful Captains Quarters condo in Shelter Cove! We enjoyed the beautiful views of boats coming and going in Shelter Cove marina from the livingroom balcony, and exquisite marsh/river views from the master bedroom balcony. Sipping a glass of wine in view of the late afternoon arrival of the beautiful great blue heron was heaven! Tuesday evening we were treated to the BEST view of the fireworks! We plan to stay again at this wonderful unit!

My husband & I chose Shelter Cove Marina because itā€™s a view we are very familiar with & the restaurants are close by. The condo had ample space for the 2 of us and was beautifully decorated. The 2 balconies provided shade in the afternoon & the chairs on the bedroom balcony were easy for my husband to use. My husband opted to sleep in the recliner because at home he sleeps in an adjustable bed & is used to sleeping in a semi-upright position.

Shelter Cove

This property was amazing for two people. We saw dolphins playing in the harbor off our balcony in the morning and the balcony faces east so very usable in afternoon. Melinda ( property manager) was awesome and friendly when we had questions. Convenient to many fun things to do. We came to golf but will come back for food and the ocean!

We are a family of 4. I have been going to Hilton Head since I was a young child. We like to play tennis, golf, boat, bike, which is why we love Hilton Head so much.

Por que o anfitriĆ£o escolheu essa propriedade

We love Shelter Cove for everything it has to offer. We like to walk to the restaurants and not worry about driving or parking. When it's firework season, you can see them from the bedroom balcony. We also like to watch all the boats, kayakers, dolphins, manatees and an occasional alligator come in and out of the Marina. We also like at night, you can sit on the balcony and see the boats, unlike the beach, you see complete darkness.
