Have the quintessential island getaway at this beautiful 1-bedroom, 1.5 bath Barrington Park villa inside Hilton Head’s premier Palmetto Dunes Resort! This unit is a hop and a skip (3 minute walk) from the beach, and the complex features one of the best beachside pools on the island.

The condo features a large bedroom with a luxury adjustable base king bed, walk-in closet and newly renovated bathroom and shower. An open concept common area includes a pull-out couch, 55” Smart TV loaded with premium cable + sports package, and a large desk / chair (& strong WiFi) - perfect for any remote work you need to complete (quickly so you can go back to the fun).

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, and a grill is steps away from the unit. Take your dinner over to the breakfast bar, natural light saturated dining area, or outside to the private balcony that overlooks a peaceful lagoon. An in-unit washer and dryer and an additional half bathroom round out an amenity-packed unit. The unit is professionally cleaned by the island's top rated cleaning service.

Amazing Place!

This was the perfect spot! Easy beach and pool access. Everything was clean. Having 2 bikes included really made this place amazing, as it was so nice to not have to try to rent ones. Definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

Directions to place were a bit confusing . Theres 2 entrances. So we came in on wrong entrance. The beach access was closed first 2 days because they were doing work on the beach. In which I was unaware of. The hot tub was filled with leaves and no skimmer. The apartment was not well stocked compared to other places I stayed. The Only 1 garbage bag 1 paper towel so definitely have to go to store when you get there. The furniture in living room is lumpy and uncomfortable!! My family lives in town and wanted to visit, the pass people at building said day passes were free, the owner has to call them in , but I was told by the owner I could only have 1 pass for the 5 days and then they or we should pay. He did call them in though and but stated we would probably have problems at gate and we didn’t…I’ve stayed at every place on the island over the years. We were able to call passes in ourself. I was there to visit family. I wish I would have known ahead that beach access might not be available, hot tub not useable, and visitors really not allowed unless we pay. definitely would have stayed elsewhere. Live and learn I guess.

There are several inaccuracies in the review which I will address below. We have hosted 100 guests with sparkling feedback, so I hope future guests will scan the response below and consider this review in context. -The guest did not read the check-in instructions which state where to pick up the gate pass on arrival and how to proceed through the resort. The resort has one entrance. I assisted immediately when she let me know she was confused on access. -The condo rental comes with one gate pass included, as noted in the listing. Additional gate passes are paid at the gate or can be pre-paid in advance. The guest needed two passes and instead of paying for a second gate pass, she requested that I enter multiple "day passes" for her to get around the system. I obliged and entered multiple passes for her, but explained the security office may not approve. She was very upset about the gate pass situation, which was the genesis of the negativity and misrepresentations of the review -The Town of Hilton Head undertook a beach renourishment project in late 2025/early 2026 to maintain and restore the pristine beach line that HHI is known for. Her stay coincided with one day where one of our complex beach accesses was closed as they were maintaining that piece of coastline. While inconvenient this one day, HHI only closed 1,000ft of beach at a time, so there were plenty of other access options, which I provided to her. The project is complete in Palmetto Dunes, and the beach looks fantastic. -The hot tub and pool are cleaned daily. March and September are when leaves fall rapidly on the island, and sometimes a few leaves get in the water in between cleans. The hot tub was not "filled with leaves" nor unusable as the guest stated, demonstrated by photos she sent. -Garbage bags are provided (plenty), as are starter supplies of paper towels, dish soap, toiletries, etc.

Perfect place for two near the ocean

Lovely condo

Very well equipped, nicely furnished, and comfy condo for the two of us. The location is great and peaceful. The bikes included in the rental were awesome and very much appreciated for long bike rides on the beach!

Awesome Stay

Great spot for a beach week! 5 minute walk to the beach/pool. Ground unit condo so no minimal stairs. Bed was super comfy, AC worked great, washer and dryer came in huge handy after daily pickleball, and kitchen was fully stocked. We had a minor wi-fi issue that Danny got resolved in under 45 minutes, could not ask for a better host.

Amazing stay

We’ve stayed in several condos at Palmetto Dunes but Barrington is maybe our favorite now. Beautiful condo, extremely clean, great updated furniture and appliances. No problems at all during our stay and easy to communicate with the owners. Thanks again!

Excellent accommodations

This condo was perfect for two people and in a great location! It really is just a short walk to the beach and the pool. And Palmetto Dunes is a beautiful place and offers many activities and is close to restaurants, shops, and other things to do. Danny is an excellent host and made the check in easy. We highly recommend!

Fall getaway

We love Hilton Head especially in the fall. The weather was perfect and Palmetto Dunes is a great location. The condo was perfect for my husband and I. Tastefully decorated and we had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Danny for being a great host!

First time to Hilton Head

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Great size for two people. Centrally located near all restaurants and destinations. We had wonderful weather. No rain and mostly sunny skies. A little disappointed that neither the pool or hot tub were open.
