Wake up to stunning mountain views and enjoy a coffee next to your own private lake surrounded by 5 secluded acres of the bucolic Catskill Mountains. Relax by the huge wood burning fire, or cook dinner for your friends in the gourmet kitchen. Minutes to skiing at Hunter Mountain, hiking, and the trendy town of Phoenicia. In the warmer months have a swim around the lake (the lake is 15ft deep in the middle & professionally cleaned & maintained - it is the cleanest & clearest private body of water in the area), lie out on the swim platform, take the boat for a spin or simple hang out. We are new here but have 5* reviews on the other booking website.
You need never leave. This is the ULTIMATE getaway!

We came for our nephews wedding. The place was so peaceful and amazing. We enjoyed some down time plunging in the lake then soaking in the sun and relaxing. The house was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. I did not want to leave!!

Ski trip to Belleayre

Our family of four stayed here for MLK weekend to go skiing at Belleayre. The house was great and we look forward to staying here again in the future!

Great stay in Caskills

Gorgeous property and fun place to stay. Loved the pond, rowboat, fire pit, Jacuzzi tub, and pool table. Very close to all the hiking trails, restaurants, and Explore the Rails attraction.

Lovely relaxing situation and great swimming pond

Very comfortable property, generally well equipped, comfy bed and nice en-suite bathroom. My wife swam daily in the pond. Would return and recommend.

Perfectly peaceful

The home is better than the pictures show, we were very pelased when we arrived. Sitting by the lake was so relaxing, and the views in every direction were worth the booking. There are some very good places to eat just a short drive away. One day my wife booked a massage and was sad she would have to leave the house for a few hours, she enjoyed being there so much! And the owner was great with communicaiton. We didn't need to contact them much, but the response was immediate each time.

Absolutely gorgeous home

This house was spectacular in every way. It's beautifully furnished and so, so comfortable. It rained the entire time we were there, so we couldn't take advantage of the lake, but we did see some cute newts. I could have laid on that couch with a book forever, though. So peaceful! It's such a good house for a relaxed group -- the kitchen is perfectly equipped to make a nice meal and there are board games aplenty. Our host also provided excellent directions to the property as well as plenty of clear instructions for the amenities that weren't intuitive. Loved our stay here and would stay again.

Best house we’ve ever rented!

The listing/pics were lovely but the actual house was even more perfect than we could have imagined. The attention to detail, it was immaculate, the property was stunning, dealing w the manager was wonderful…we will be renting this house again.

Beautiful setting for a fall weekend

We loved this property for our fall weekend getaway. There was plenty of space for me and my husband. The home was well-appointed with everything we needed. We loved the peaceful, quiet setting with a gorgeous view. The house was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do while in the area. Susanna was very prompt in responding to us. VRBO caused an issue with our reservation, but Susanna responded within minutes and we worked together to troubleshoot and remedy the problem. She was immediately available when we had questions upon entering the home. We would love to rent this property again on our next trip to the area!

Relaxing in the Catskills

Perfect Place

We loved the place! It is even better than the pictures. The lake is unbelievable! The region is amazing, lot of things to do. The house was impeccable. It was a surprise for my wife’s birthday. She loved it!

Incredible mountain cabin

This house was absolutely amazing. A million dollar home in the middle of the woods! Beautiful views, incredible house with everything you need for a great weekend! Lots of room with no expenses spared at all. Already looking at dates to book again! Also excellent communication with the house manager!

Perfect fall getaway

We came here to celebrate my parent’s 40th wedding anniversary and it was amazing. Modern, yet rustic… super clean & spacious. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Place

What a beautiful setting with mountains and a small lake. The house was perfect. Nice kitchen will all the amenities. Centrally located to all the hiking and biking we did. Susanna was great quickly answering our questions. Just a perfect place for a getaway.

Perfect Stay!

My husband and two kids had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house. Susanna was so helpful and responsive, even proactively notifying us of dangerous road conditions and closed roads due to a winter storm. Luckily the house was so perfect - spotless, tastefully decorated, and spacious - that we had almost no need to leave! We will be back!

Amazing well kept property

The owner Susanna was great throughout the check-in to check-out process. Even a small beeping sound from the alarm panel she was able to get resolved within an hour. The amenities are great, especially the beautiful fireplace in conjunction with the record player. The living room is double height and cozy to sit down after a long day of skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pots, pans and dishware. The egg grill outside was also very convenient and felt at home since I have one too lol. Pictures look beautiful in front of the pond with the scenic mountain view backdrop. We would certainly only stay here on our trips up to Hunter Mountain. The only downside is we could not stay longer.

PERFECT!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!

This property is a step or even two above other places I have stayed. The private lake is as fantastic as it sounds and we were lucky enough to get a good wallop of snow which made the property look even more amazing. With Hunter Mountain less than 15 minutes away it was perfect timing! The plow guy came twice during the storm to ensure we were able to leave safely & we were one of the first to the Mountain in the morning – great skiing on fresh snow. Everything in the house smacked of being high end: the appliances, the pool table, the linens. I can’t recommend this house highly enough – the property manager was responsive and the location is perfect, Phoenicia is minutes away, and yet you feel a million miles from anywhere.

Best place for a weekend in the country with friends

Stunning high end luxury home on a beautiful piece of property 5 minutes from the trendy town of Phoenicia! One of the nicest houses we've ever stayed in upstate NY. The photos do not do this place justice. The high end finishes and details are incredible.. Heated blue stone floors throughout the home and high end high-tech appliances this home will make you feel like you are in your own resort. The property makes it especially special, you are secluded, on a private pond with clear water, surrounded by mountain ridges. The space is voluminous and very open from the kitchen to the dining area and living room, it was perfect for us to hang out while we cooked! The decor, the high end finishes combined with just a really solid beautiful home made us want to spend more of our time hanging out at the house and less time hiking or eating-out. Susanna was an amazing host, very responsive and accommodating. Being a host myself I had high expectations and this house and the hospitality we received exceeded our expectations. Other plusses: Water pressure was strong, comfortable beds and linens, awesome blue tooth speaker, record player and pool table! This is the best place for a weekend in the country with friends. We will certainly be back soon!

This house is extremely quiet & private, oh and did I mention it has it's own private lake - with a swim platform & a row boat! The house is newly renovated, all the furniture linens & beddings are brand new and it has a gourmet kitchen. There is a professional billiard table, a large wood burning fireplace & a fire pit. It is really unique and well maintained. Please note, a washer & dryer is available for summer guests as well as guests staying a week or more. We have a professional property management team available 24/7 to answer any questions you may have. PLEASE NOTE: in these challenging times we are taking extra steps with our cleaning protocols. These include: requiring our cleaners to wear masks & gloves at all times, leaving the house vacant between guests for as long as possible, sanitizing all hard surfaces, light switches, door knobs etc., providing guests with sanitizing cleaning supplies. Please be assured we take every precaution to keep you safe.
