Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Great place.

We love the Summit. We stay average 3 times a year. Great location and love the grounds, pool and direct beach access.

A hidden gem

Better than advertised. Clean. The view was spectacular -especially for people watching . It is across from the elevator but it was never an issue at all .

Great place!!

This place was great!!!! Beds were comfy, condo was well decorated, and the location was wonderful! The tiki bar and bikini bobs were delicious with extremely fair prices. The walk from the condo to the beach was short and everyone left happy. Loved the location of the condo in the facility as the elevators were a little crowded- but that didn’t bother us. There were no blankets for the pull out couch and the sink shot water on you if you turned it on all of the way- which we quickly learned and just adjusted by not turning on the water all of the way. Will be coming back to stay here & will bring blankets for the pull out couch.

Great Location, needs some TLC

It’s a great condo for the prices. You can’t beat the location & views but the condo itself needs a little TLC. The bathroom light didn’t work, the kitchen faucet leaks & sprays all over when turned on and the floors need a little extra cleaning. You can’t beat the views and it’s a great complex. Also, being on the 3rd floor means you can use the stairs and not wait in the elevator lines which is a huge plus.

2022 Fall Beach Trip

We love the Summitt property and stay there often. Being on the 3rd floor right off the elevator was very convenient. The unit however was lacking some basic necessities. We bought and left at the unit frying pans, dish towels and cooking utensils. The unit still needs mixing bowls and silverware. Hopefully the next guest(s) will find them helpful. We will continue to stay at the Summitt and book via VRBO.

great location and view

Rented across from elevator because I cannot do stairs,. it did not work. Place not very clean, could not remedy because no cleaning equipment. Not good for monthly rental! TV system antiquated and not working or losing signal in the middle or end of programs. My friends unit was not any better with an older remodel .

Convenient location. Older complex but unit was clean.

Our unit at the summit was very clean, but could definitely use some updates in the bathroom. Tub is old and cracked, as well as sinks and counters. Shower tile looks dirty due to its age. Medicine cabinet where the complimentary shampoo is was rusted inside. These things were not visible in the listing. There are two toilets and two sinks, one tub/shower. (Shared pocket door to access shower) Master bedroom hears lots of noise due to being directly across from elevator. It was convenient though. Overall, it was decorated and furnished nicely and we enjoyed our stay.

Not bad but needs some repairs and updates.

The room was mostly clean and the bed was comfortable, overall a decent place to stay, however when we got there the faucet in the kitchen sprayed you in the face when you turned it on, some of the lights in the room do not work the master bedroom door sticks, toilet paper roll holder falls off the half bath wall. the maintenance man Mark that came out to look at the sink and the light in the kitchen was extremely nice and fixed both of those two issues in under an hour. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms are very loud. The tile floor in the bathrooms and the bathtub look like they are more than 40 years old as well as the sinks and countertops. Also pieces of the roof above the balcony fell down while we were there. A few upgrades and it would be the perfect place to stay.

Dirty ,mold,broken doors the summit 317

Took 2 days before someone came out to fix the bedroom and bathroom doors before we could close them bc they were broken also no broom I did get one after 2 days . . Balcony door was fixed 2 days before we left we could hardly open it and it would lock you out if you could get it open to get out there before it was fixed so that was horrible .mold on bathroom ceiling and also in hall on the vents , the 2 right burners on stove would shock you while trying to cook .no pot holders or baking sheet and the blender top was broken .very run down and dirty .sand and food in sofa bed and furniture was very filthy and you could tell there was still food prints from the previous renters on Glass table.the tub also had mold in between tiles and the drain plug wasn't attached . the only good thing was we were on the 3rd floor so we could use the stairs instead of waiting for elevator but since the room was right in front of elevators you couldn't sleep because of all the loud people which I guess is expected .bed is very uncomfortable . I would not stay in this unit again I was not happy with this rental . The guy that fixed the doors was very nice and he did the best he could but that whole unit needs re done . The decor was cute but that was it .im ok with things being dated as long as they are functioning but this was not the case .

Aesthetically great, had few misses.

The overall property of the condo felt clean and furnishings/decor were more modern and in good condition. The kids loved the pool, great size pool never felt over crowded. My husband and I enjoyed the morning view of the beach. Few misses, the stove had only two eyes working, you couldn't turn the fan off/on without turning the light on cause there was no pull cord to adjust this was in the living space. The drain in the sink must of been clogged as the garage disposal was full of food debris and the faucet shot out in small cracks at the seams. Few of the lamps had either no bulb or blown bulb. The toilet paper hold fell off on first use. We didn't know what was up with the TV as we could never get it to connect to our Netflix (fire stick) and cable was little to none. Glad we had our laptops and that could of been on on us not knowing how to connect, but were pretty savvy with that stuff. If not familiar with the area or condominium and your looking for a more quiet laid back setting with quiet nights on the beach, this may not be your place. We stayed past the holiday for Memorial weekend but it was still a party place at night. Saturday nights they have bands at the pool that played till 12:30am. The next three nights were DJ'ed by other condo residents with boombox/jumbo speakers at the pool till 11pm at night. It was much more than expect and I had known it was a little more lively than most. If you want a get away and close to beach, pool, lively atmosphere this is your place!
