Welcome to 2 Man O War! This beautiful home is located second row ocean in Palmetto Dunes. With five bedrooms, five and half bathrooms - it can host a group of up to fourteen guests!

A nice perk of this home is that it offers complimentary pool heat seasonally. As long as the temperature doesn't fall below 55 degrees, you are all set to enjoy FREE pool heat typically March through May & September through early November (must reach out to our office in advance of your stay to confirm and schedule).

Must call Coastal Home and Villa at least two weeks prior to your arrival to arrange for pool heat. **The spa is not able to be heated**

Our family of 7 adults, ranging from 25-65, had a fabulous week in this house. The location was ideal - the neighborhood is quiet and the house is a very short walk to a beautiful beach. We also spent a lot of time in and around the pool. The house itself worked so well. The kitchen and living area are huge, well-decorated, and offer plenty of room to spread out and relax. We had groups watching sports on tv, while others worked on jigsaw puzzles in another area. The kitchen is great - with a huge island and lots of storage. While it is unusually well stocked (including Tupperware, grill tools, etc.), there are a few things that could be added such as additional placemats. Each of the five bedrooms is spacious, nicely furnished and includes a private bathroom. We would not hesitate to rent this home again and highly recommend it. (I will note that there are small spots of rot on the wood deck but it appears that repairs may be in progress as there are some areas of new wood.)

We had a problem with the toilet in one of the bathrooms an d they sent a plumber immediately. Only suggestion to you would be to spruce up the deck, the pool and some of the bedroom furniture.The deck (in the front of the house and the back)was obviously older and in need of care. Pool had tiles coming off and was showing itā€™s age. I feel these things devalued the house. However, w will had a great time and everything else about it was wonderful and we would still stay there again. Layout was great, short walk to the beach.

Very lovely home! Plenty of room for our family of 12. Loved the kitchen and living areas. Very quick and simple walk to the beach and the pool was very clean and inviting. Lord willing we will be back next year! Everyone check it out. You wonā€™t be disappointed!

Nice house butā€¦.

We chose this house primarily because of the heated pool. We called maintenance several times, they came out twice, and never fixed the heating unit which wasnā€™t working. It was very disappointing and no one could use the pool, which wouldā€™ve been a focal part of our days there. The house was prettyā€¦.thank goodness! Lots of windows not functional and some doors would not lock. We own beach rental property as well and were disappointed with the upkeep of such a pretty place.

Nice house but needs work

There was a leak in from the attic into an upstairs bedroom. It was from an access panel and it turned out to be duct work that was leaking and needs to be repaired or replaced. It clearly had been there for quite a while because there were water marks on the ceiling. Regardless it dripped the entire stay until the HVAC guy came and put a pan up in the crawl space ā€” temporary fix, at best as mildew (smell) has already begun. As the property managers, I would think you would impress upon the owners to have this problem fixed and not leave it as deferred maintenance. The pool was ok but when I checked the chemical balance upon arrival, it was also in a bad state ā€” especially the chlorine level ā€” way too low for a large pool with lots of visitors. I watched the pool maintenance fella and he cleaned and checked but made no chemical adjustments. I used the pool everyday so I really wanted it to be cleaner. Sadly this seems to be status quo for rental homes at the beach! Deferred maintenance and various small problems left to just slowly deteriorate the home ā€” too bad when you already the weather that does that for you! We are accustomed to this by now and know that no matter how many reviews I write, nothing changes.

With our family having a couple of members with health issues, the walk was too long. Nice deck and pool area Some improvement suggestions:1. WIFI extender needed.can't get signal on deck and pool area2. Front door steps need step strips or lights. Cannot see each step when wet or dark. Porch light doesn't light the steps well. Makes for unsafe situation. 3. No pantry for storing groceries. We could've used cabinets, but they were all filled with dishes and such4. The freezer does not close properly. 5. Fans squeak in the double bedroom downstairs, and the king without the attached room6. Roof leaks and hopefully is fixed nowOverall, we enjoyed the house, the pool, deck and the great bedding arrangement.

Great location and property needs a few items

Maybe best location in Palmetto Dunes for us. Quiet and peaceful. Great pool and very nice kitchen and common areas. Overall we had a great time. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Yard was great. We had an excellent stay. The areas I would expect to be upgraded or fixed for this type of spend are: One set of doors (off the kitchen onto the deck) would not lock, and bathroom off the kitchen has a barn door with no lock. Decking in poor condition with several screws coming up and rusting. $200 grill for a $2MM+ Home felt a bit underwhelming. None of the issues would prevent us from staying again. Beautiful home beach adjacent

Coastal home and villa makes renting easy. This home is beautifully located in a private location adjacent to the beach. Heated pool was great during March. It could easily sleep a good size family was great open floor plan

Great Home! Clean and spacious!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best time at this home. Great proximity to the beach, perfect size for our family of 12, and very clean! Management company was remarkable - awesome communication! It was nice to find a Palmetto Dunes home that sits on an oversized lot where we could not only enjoy the pool area but also a decent sized yard! Looking forward to returning again!
