Welcome to this distinctive vacation property managed locally by Island Time Hilton Head.

This fantastic 2nd row of the ocean is nestled in the palms of the Palmetto Dunes resort. With 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths, this low-country home is the perfect getaway for family and friends!

A circular drive leads to a beautiful entrance way and wraparound porch. The grand foyer opens to a huge family room, a fully equipped chef-quality kitchen, and an elegant dining room. The dining room features seating for eight.

The second living space features a game room and full bar. There are two master suites as well as four other bedrooms with private baths. An elevator and spacious laundry room are available for your convenience.

A gorgeous porch and pool area make this home great for large family dinners as well as quiet times reading or sunning.

This beach retreat really has it all, and it's just a few sandy steps to the beach.

Key Features:
• Proximity to the beach: 2nd Row on the Beach Path, 1 minute walk to the Beach
• The pool and spa can be heated for an additional charge, give us a call for heating rates and to make arrangements. Pool and spa heat must be scheduled at 14 days prior to arrival. Additional fees apply for last minute requests prior to arrival or after arriving at the property. If the weather drops below 60 degrees, the pool may not be capable of being heated and or reaching optimal temperature.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second year we stayed in 3 Iron Clad for the holidays. It is a wonderful property.The house has six bedrooms (all very nice) each with a private bathroom. Very helpful for a large group that all want nice rooms! The family room and kitchen were wonderful spaces to congregate and the game room was awesome for watching the football games. We will return! Island Time was great to work with and manages the property very well. Everything was in working order/very clean and whenever we have raised questions, Island Time was extremely responsive. Wonderful experience!

Amazing stay!

Large, beautiful, clean and cozy house. Ample space and great features for our large group. Great outdoor space, very close proximity to beach! No issues at all, would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

House is lovely. Bedrooms are all large and beds very comfortable. Pool is a bit small but the kids loved it. Waterfall feature was a hit. Great location. Easy walk to beach. Lots of parking.

House was very clean big bedrooms and lots of space. Very nice layout and appliances. The pool was not clean and only issue during stay. Otherwise place was great for group to have room to hang out and very comfortable sleeping quarters

It is beautiful, with an unusually well appointed kitchen, large bedrooms, a lovely pool/outdoor eating area. We have ten and ask for two extra chairs for the table. At times it has shown its age, but overall this house is great.

Beautiful home close to the beach

We loved our stay at 3 Iron Clad! The proximity to the beach and the size of the bedrooms were amazing! Beds were very comfortable and a lot of space in the house for our group of 12 to spread out. Unfortunately a few of the appliances were not working, but the property manager was quick to respond. They just were not repaired during our stay. Overall house was beautiful and would recommend the property!

This house is located farther into the property. The home is beautiful and very spacious. The mattress in the primary bedroom downstairs needs to be replaced and a couple of skillets in the kitchen have definitely seen better days. Other than that, it's a great house and we would definitely stay there again.

The house was wonderful for accommodating our large family and spacious which made visiting very comfortable. The elevator was a huge bonus for getting my mother and my aunt up to the living area from the garage. The game room was another huge bonus for watching football games and passing time playing games. I found the staff at Island Time very pleasant, helpful and responsive. A quality management company is important and they were excellent. Will happily rent this home again and work with Island Time again.

Started in the 80s, just my wife and I and friends. Then started taking our children and are now taking our children and grandchildren. Overall, very happy with this home. It is a great location with very good beach access. Layout and amenities within the home are very good. The pool was a little small and could've been cleaner when we arrived. The interior of the home is very nice but it is starting to show it's age, especially the cabinetry in the kitchen. I would definitely stay in this home again.

Really nice 2nd row house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a wonderful house, and it is in great condition. All the bedrooms are nice, roomy, and have adjoining baths. The two King bedrooms have small walk-in closets. The master bedroom downstairs is palatial and has a large bathroom and closet. I really enjoyed talking to Brenda for my questions when we chose the house. The pool and spa are wonderful, and were warm and worked well the whole week. We really appreciated access to the garage (which is under the house with a side street driveway), being able to take things up from that level in the elevator and being able to keep our beach items and bikes in the garage. We encountered a rattlesnake along the paved beach path out to the beach. After that, I didn't feel as comfortable walking the path of pine needles and leaves behind the house to connect to the beach path. Please note that the description of how to get to the beach in the listing is incorrect. There is no connection to the beach path from the front of the house. The path is accessible by walking on a path through the woods behind the house until you get to the paved beach path. I think a good improvement would be white rock along that path, so anything would be more visible. Thanks so much to the owners and to Island Time for making this a really wonderful vacation!!! Wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. The house was spotless, the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were all very well stocked. The pictures don't do it justice, this home is huge! The kids were particularly fond of the media room with the video games and big screen TV. The wrap around deck was also a big hit. Best of all is the location. Palmetto Dunes is one of the best locations on Hilton Head, and the house is located in a very quiet dead end street that is a two minute walk to the beach, You can hear the ocean from the front porch. The only complaints I would note are the following: Anyone who has ever owned a home knows at any given time there is a list of things that need fixing/updating. This home is no different. The pool/hot tub could use a fresh paint job and re-grouting of the tiles (a couple were loose). The couches in the den and media room, as well as most of the mattresses in the bedrooms have reached the end of their useful life and should be replaced. They were still clean and comfortable but they do sag quite a bit when you sit on them. The biggest issue we had was that on the hottest days the air conditioning struggled to keep up on the second floor,. We usually set the temperature at 72-73 deg but by the end of the day it would be closer to 75-76. Not catastrophic by any means but for a home that is high end and charges nightly rates accordingly, definately something that needs to be adressed,. One of the bedrooms in particular was affected by this. I certainly don't want this commentary to come off as negative of even mixed review because we all very much enjoyed our stay, and took full advantage of all this wonderful home has to offer. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and responsive to all our questions, and very prompt. Usually responding within the hour. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone! Charles

Nice house.

This house is roomier than the pictures look. Other than a better cleaning job could have been done we enjoyed the visit and would rent it again. The windows on the house are what made it not look as clean. They need to be cleaned and the pool has missing tile that should be repaired.

The location is perfect with a short walk to the beach. The only issues were a unfinished hole in the wall from the master shower repair and the pool pump filter wasn’t coming on after a few days and the pool became green and not usable. Overall this is a great home for 2-3 families to share. The Palmetto area is awesome.

Great location!

A fun house - close to the beach with a fun pool area (with a waterfall!), hot tub, and great porch for sitting and relaxing. Lots of space and two huge master bedrooms with giant bathrooms.

Hilton Head Vacation

My family and I loved your home! Rooms decorated beautiful, kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of TV's, although we really didn't watch much. Landscape was beautiful, site so close to the beach. No complaints. Highly recommend your property to anyone looking for a large home to stay in. Thank you for renting your home to us! Barb Steinmetz
