Nahil #6 is a beautiful and comfortable, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo right on the beach of Akumal's Half Moon Bay. This is a well equipped modern condominium that makes feeling at home easy. Modern amenities throughout add to your enjoyment. The view from Nahil 6 is one of it's best features. This upper level unit enjoys a big beautiful view of Half Moon Bay. From your terrace you can enjoy the soothing view of the sea, and even the turtles, birds and other sea life in the bay. Morning coffee has never been so enjoyable!

The open concept floor plan in the living, dining and kitchen area gives you unparalleled views no matter where you are. Your private patio is furnished with a sitting and dining area.

The Master suite with its own en suite bathroom enjoys the same glorious sea views. Whether you are lying in your king bed, or having a cocktail on your private terrace, you will find it hard to tear yourself away from the view of Half Moon Bay.

The guest bedroom has its own en suite bathroom, jungle view and a private balcony. This is the perfect place to read a book, catch up on some much needed alone time, or watch the sunset.

Outside you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful beachfront swimming pool and the comfortable sun loungers. Two steps beyond the pool is your beachfront haven. Step into Half Moon Bay, a protected inlet which is part of the Caribbean Sea, and offers excellent snorkeling. A short 5 minute walk to the north you will find Yal Ku Lagoon, a popular snorkeling area in Akumal. Get your tropical fish and turtle book out so you can identify all the different species seen in the lagoon.

Located just one hour from the Cancun International Airport, between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, Akumal is a quiet residential beachfront town famous for its turtles, small community and quiet evenings. Nahil Condos are located a short walk from Que Onda Restaurant, La Lunita Beachfront Restaurant and close to La Buena Vida Bar and Restaurant known for its swings and tree houses. Known for its calm bay areas and water sports, Akumal is also in close proximity to famous Riviera Maya cultural attractions and other beachfront cities.

Serene stay, exceeded expectations

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week in Nahil #6! The unit had everything we needed: plenty of linens, comfortable beds, blackout shades, hot water. We appreciated the water cooler (refilled as needed by housekeeping), and extra amenities like Tupperware, spices, snorkeling gear, etc. The daily housekeeping was such a luxury! The grounds were beautiful and maintained daily. The pool was so clean and perfect for our two young kids. The other residents of the complex were very friendly and quiet and we never really overlapped at the pool or even the beach. The snorkeling out front was great. It’s rocky as others mention, but there is a sandy “pathway” into the water. The check-in instructions were confusing, as it said there was an office but that wasn’t true. I wish we’d just had the lockbox code emailed to us in advance so we didn’t waste 20 min trying to figure out how to enter the unit. Other residents were helpful. Overall Everything was lovely and we cannot wait to return.

My Favorite!

Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at a lot of Airbnb's on Halfmoon Bay over the last 10+ years and this was by far our best experience. The owners thought of the little things like properly stocking the kitchen needs, the beds and linens were perfect, the couch was comfortable which is hard to find in Mexico, and everything was great. It's how I would do an Airbnb if I had one.

Paradise in Akumal

Wonderful space/atmosphere, very clean, and great location that had minimal sargassum compared to the rest of the bay. As beautiful as the pictures show. Convenient parking, great 24 hour security, and a special thanks to the amazing ground keeping crew and Fatima the maid. We’ll equipped kitchen and even though we had our own, the unit’s snorkeling gear was a real plus! Made our stay in Akumal very enjoyable!

Ultimately a great place with one major flaw

The place was just as describe. Very clean and very comfortable. One major problem and a big enough problem that I would not stay again: There is a unit above you. All the floors are tile. The unit above, both occupants and housekeepers, constantly pushed chairs/furniture around scraping the floor. This was intensely loud to be under. This problem could easily be solved by requiring all furniture (even patio) to be on a rug or have pads on the legs. When you have people traveling from all over the world, you’re not always on the same schedule. The unit above us seemed to like to move chairs late in the evenings and would wake us out of a dead sleep, very unsettling. Please know you are about 20 minutes from Tulum. We actually preferred this little community as it was much quieter. However, all of Tulum as well as this area are very expensive. Limited grocery supplies. Even the huge grocery stores in town did not seem to have quality food. We thought we would prepare some meals at home, but ended up eating all meals out. Restaurant prices are outrageous. Something to consider when working on your budget. It was great to have housekeeping service everyday. The beds were comfortable. The snorkeling right out front was great. The beach is rocky but a little sand to relax on. The pool was taken care of and clean but wayyyyy too many chemicals, we stayed out. Two great restaurants you can walk to. One across the street and one a little walk down the beach.

Tranquil Paradise

My family and I enjoyed the tranquil and natural setting. Akumel bay is conserved land for natural habitat including sea turtles. We will be back!

Akumal Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Nahil #6. Very comfortable accommodations. Never an issue finding a spot by the pool. The reef seems to be in decline, saw some fish but not a lot. Probably due to increased water temperature. Love having insuite laundry. Neither of the hand held shower heads worked, not a big deal but would have been nice. All the staff are very nice and do a great job. Ricardo is always helpful and available. Overflow parking would be nice when the complex is full. WiFi can be spotty, could be improved.

Fabulous Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Nahil Condo's Unit #6 was the perfect two bedroom, two bath for our party of four. This unit is roomy with a open concept. Full glass doors that take you onto a large balcony boosting a gorgeous ocean view. It has a comfortable couch, table and chairs for enjoying breakfast or cocktails along with two lounge chairs. The Master bedroom is ocean view. The second bedroom overlooks the jungle courtyard and has a small terrace. The unit is nicely decorated. The pool is very refreshing and large enough for laps. Kayak and snorkle the beautiful blue waters just steps away from the condos. This property has a relaxing atmosphere and amazing staff. We highly recommend this property and can't wait to be back next year. Enjoy!

Beautiful stay in Akumal

We had an amazing trip to Akumal…Nahil 6 was perfect for our group! The condo has everything we needed and more. There were incredible views from the balcony full of comfy furniture, a beautiful beach and a great pool! We were in walking distance to delicious restaurants and could walk to a lagoon to snorkel and could even snorkel right in front of the condo. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and hope to be back soon!

Great location, awesome view

I had a wonderful time at the property. You can`t beat falling asleep with the ocean sound in the background and the view in the morning is breathtaking. The apartment has everything you need for a great stay, even snorkles to go snorkling. Highly recommended! You need a car though to get to Tulum or Playa Del Carmen !

Relaxing by the beach

Loved the small number of units, never had to fight for a spot by the pool. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance. Yal Ku lagoon 5-7 min walk. Decent snorkelling right in front of resort. One minor issue with the hot water tank failing but it was fixed promptly

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our family stay at Nahil #6. It was a perfect spot--beautiful, new, clean condo. Excellent pool and beachside location, quiet and safe area. Great sandy beach--it is generally rocky at water's edge but there is a sand channel for easy access into the water for swimming and snorkeling. And on the north side of the bay, it was more protected with little seaweed in July--much less than the middle of the bay. Staff was great--professional and friendly. We loved walking to nearby Morningstar Cafe and La Lunita cafe, even the main Akumal entry about a mile away, as well as to Yal-ku for really cool snorkeling. I'd return and highly recommend.

Perfect getaway!

We were very pleased with this condo, the people were friendly, transportation was good as well, It is a tropical area therefore there is no good steak tacos around, their specialty is seafood. Definitely recommend though (:

It had all the beach equipment necessary for snorkeling and a fully equipped kitchen. Mari the housekeeper was wonderful. She was very clean and thoroughly fulfilled all our housekeeping needs. The property employees were always busy maintaining the beautiful beach and property. We cannot wait for our next visit. The property is close to Tulum, Playa del Carmen and many cenotes. Great location! We were adventurous and drove over the bridge for amazing local and authentic dishes. We felt very safe and everyone is friendly.
