Casa Panorama Quattro is a bright and cheerful apartment situated at a short distance from the shores of Lake Como. It sleeps six people. From Casa Panorama Quattro you will enjoy a fascinating view of the lake and of the swimming pool. Casa Panorama Quattro is 60 square meters (645 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a small private terrace with a view of the lake, a shared garden, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be approximately 500 meters (550 yards) from Mezzegra, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the beach at roughly 1 km (0.6 miles).
Casa Panorama Quattro is located on the first floor in the main building. You will reach it from the garden going up a stairway which consists of approximately 35 steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Panorama Quattro. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a parking space. The residence was built at the end of the eighteenth century by members of the noble family Brentano-Mezzegra.  The reason for building the mansion is singular, to say the least.  Legend has it that the sons of the Count Brentano-Mezzegra, upset with their father during a family feud, erected a new building just in front of the family palace, to block the view of the lake that the Count so much enjoyed.


We don't know how much is history and how much is tale, but something is for sure: the new residence enjoys a spectacular view of the lake, while the imposing building right at its back has been "obscured", so to speak.


Throughout the following centuries the building has been used as a monastery and then as a farmhouse.  It was an old country residence still in 2001, when it has been restored and divided into nine holiday apartments.


The residence is located in the quiet village of Mezzegra in an uphill position that offers a wide and charming view of the lake, of the town of Bellagio on the opposite shore, and of the surrounding mountains.  Mezzegra is a tiny lakeside village, which has a place in history because it's here that, on April 28th 1945, Benito Mussolini was executed, or assassinated, depending on who tells the story.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 12.5 meters (40 feet) large by 5 meters (16 feet) long, 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) deep. The area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a fascinating view of Lake Como. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.

Wellness room
At the complex you will find a wellness room with a sauna. Please note that use of the wellness facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally.
Laundry room
In the laundry room you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally).  Living Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. There is an elegant fireplace, for decorative purposes only. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, a small refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the small terrace through a French door. The room also has a window.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, a small refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the small balcony.
Mezzanine Level
In the living room you will find an open mezzanine level, without door. You will be able to access it from the climbing 12 steps. The mezzanine has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed).
Bedroom
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the through a corridor. It has a single bed (80 cm/32 inches) and a pull-out single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a window with a view of the lake.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room through a corridor.
