Very nice property with clean, modern decor. Great location convenient to everything. Very well furnished with numerous towels and all beach accessories. Only drawbacks are noisy window AC and outdated swimming pool but still great value for Key Biscayne.

Cozy Beach Cottage

We had a lovely stay here. Very cute and cozy. Had everything we needed to feel at home. Close to beaches, shopping and restaurants. Great communication with the host and would love to stay here again!

Great lil place

Space used well: neat & clean and in a great location. 1/2 mile from Key Biscayne Yacht Club. Very easy to get in & out of. Key Biscayne beach club and pool are great additions to their place.

Location was as expected and the place was wonderful with plenty of supplies and amenities. Gail has it well stocked to support your travels. She has thought of everything you may need.

1st stay in key biscayne

This is a nice little beach condo that works.well for a couple. Close to Miami and that makes it great for enjoying all that the city has to offer, but a relaxing neighborhood that is great to walk. We liked Bill Baggs park for the beach.

Cozy and stress free

Really enjoyed this place and the neighborhood is great. Lots of kids around the local park, restaurants everywhere, safe location. Only concern is the front air conditioner needs to be replaced. Bedroom air is good.

This apartment is centrally located in Key Biscayne in a great neighborhood. Gail is a very good host and was attentive to any issues we had. Also, good location if you have a pet.

Comfortable little home that is close to everything but quiet and peaceful! We were about 20 min from University of Miami and minutes to a clean quiet beach on Key Biscayne or could enjoy a clean refreshing dip in the properties pool just steps away. Great eating and shopping were walkable. The property was clean, well supplied, and if needed there was on site host as well as owner easy to contact. My husband and I will be back to enjoy this little slice of paradise again soon. I highly recommend this property for your next get away to Key Biscayne!

Cozy and Comfortable

The was a perfect home-base for us as we explored Key Biscayne and the surrounding areas. The condo was clean and bright, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was wonderful - quiet neighborhood-feel, but also centrally located with easy access to groceries and restaurants. We appreciated the designated parking space and the extras, such as beach chairs/umbrella and key access to the private beach. Gail was responsive and easily available for any questions. We would definitely return for another visit!

Little gem

Hubs and i really enjoyed our trip to Key Biscayne and this condo was perfect for us. Beautifully decorated and renovated in. Beach motif. Fully outfitted with everything you could possibly need. We walked the whole island from restaurants to the beach and took regular advantage of the free golf cart service. Loved the state park and pristine beaches. This island is a gem. Having the patio and pool was a real plus for us and our toy poodle.

Wonderful little getaway!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the condo. Gail was very communicative and Shirley (the property manager) only lives a few units down in case we needed anything. You really can’t beat this location, incredibly close to the dog park and across the street from the farmers market on Saturdays. I’ve been visiting family on the key since I was a child, and it’s really perfect. This place was absolutely perfect for us and our dog. The unit is clean, quiet and the AC was great! We didn’t use the pool a whole lot simply because of my family on the island and them having a pool, but the pool at the property was very clean and private. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we come and visit the key.

January 2023

My husband and I chose KB for January because it’s a relatively low key place not far from Coral Gables where our son and his family live. Gail’s apartment was perfect for the two of us; fully stocked kitchen, loads of towels, beach towels and linens. New, clean beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for our use. Access to the beautiful private beach is a 10 minute walk, short drive or free KB shuttle away. The apartment is next door to a great park which our grandkids loved. Everything was In walking distance from the apartment. We walked to the Winn Dixie grocery store, Golden Hog gourmet market, restaurants and coffee shops every day. We also walked to Bill Baggs Park often and watched the sun set from the Cleat, a very cool spot in the park. Gail was an extremely responsive host who checked on how things were going for us often. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

KEY BISCAYNE IS UTOPIA!

We stayed here after researching destinations in Florida. Never had heard of Key Biscayne prior to this search and we stumbled upon Gail's Oasis. We decided to stay and we are so glad that we did. Gail's apartment is located in the heart of Key Biscayne! We had a car rental and we had our own assigned parking spot. We absolutely loved that we could walk to all the local restaurants within a 5 minute walk! We loved that this location was quiet and serene. It is also located near a pristine dog park. The apartment is lovely and quiet. Everything that we would want was here in this apartment. The accommodations are just so great from the comfy Living Room, comfy bed and fabulous shower! Let me not forget to mention that this is a dog friendly rental and we brought our 11 lb Papillon with us. We loved the patio area that we could safely have our pup with us since it is fenced in with a outdoor table/chairs to relax at. A/C was excellent as well as celling fans to keep us ever so comfy! Plenty of space for two adults and their pup. Nighttime is quiet so you can get a good nights rest and the room is just the perfect darkness too. Beach chairs/towels/umbrella were included to use which was so convenient! Rental comes with access rights to Key Biscayne Beach which is a 10 min walk or a short drive-3 mins. Gail was tentative without being intrusive. We would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to return again! Thank you Gail for your hospitality!

Peaceful, Safe and Perfect

This property was great for the 2 of us. Amenities for kitchen and beach great. WiFi excellent. AC worked always…thank goodness. Loved the area of Key Biscayne. Private beach access is outstanding. Will definitely return to this property!

Great Location

The unit is as shown in the pictures. Only 20 minutes from the airport. Walking distance to park and some great restaurants and shops. Beach was too far to walk and parking on street is very limited. We used Freebie - free transportation provided by Key Biscayne. The wait was only a few minutes. Great service. There is a pool directly behind the unit. The day we used the pool we were the only ones there. Plenty of towels - both beach and bath. The bed was very comfortable. Also, chairs and umbrellas for the beach in the outdoor storage bins along with a few sand toys and one boogie board. A nice outdoor table for 4 with an umbrella to use for meals or just to sit outdoors for drinks. My only complaint had to do with the owners living next door. They were out at the pool with friends at 1 am playing guitars one morning. Since the pool backs up to the bedroom windows it felt like they were right in the bedroom with us. Also, if you do use the sleeper sofa in the living room, the neighbors tv is on the back of the common wall. They rise early and keep the volume/base for the tv up high. It you are a light sleeper, the base booming will wake you. I have been spoiled by my other vacation rentals over the years with coffee and sugar supplied by the owner. There was neither available at this unit. We left sugar and sandwich baggies for the next guests. Salt and pepper are your basic condiments available at this unit. We did enjoy our stay and would consider renting this unit again.

Great stay!

We totally enjoyed our stay here. The property was centrally located, very clean and close to the beach. The bed was comfortable and shower pressure was strong! We used the Freebee services which were excellent. This was our first time on key Biscayne and we certainly want to return.

Great location

There are so many great restaurants within short walking distances of this unit. It is in a family friendly area with the dog park and soccer fields. Rented a bike directly behind the unit to ride to the beautiful state park with lighthouse. Took one of the beach chairs to Crandon Beach one day. I had everything I needed at this place. No steps or elevators or key to deal with. So many things to do nearby, too. My top two off the island were 1) the bike trail at the Shark Valley entrance to the Everglades - about a one hour drive and 2) Miami culinary and culture tour of Little Havana. All in all, great stay.

Perfect island get away in the middle of a buzzing city!

This was the perfect place for a quick get away from city life while still having all the city has to offer at your fingertips. I really enjoyed the short walk to the beach 15 -20 min (depending on your speed). The beach is exquisite and pristine. The place itself is very clean, comfortable, and quaint. A definite plus is that it accepts dogs for those with furry family members! Property manager was very responsible and accommodating! I will definitely come back!

Key Biscayne is situated on a barrier island just a short and gorgeous drive across the Rickenbacker Causeway from Miami. It is known for being a low-key tropical oasis, with quaint neighborhoods and palm tree-lined streets. Key Biscayne is home to some of the most brilliant, white sandy beaches and offers a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities, including bicycling, tennis, golf, fishing, kite boarding, windsurfing, boating and sailing. Besides the beautiful beaches, there is also a nature and visitor center, state parks, the Miami Seaquarium and local eateries famous for their cuisine. It lies between two large parks—Crandon Park and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park—each with long, sheltered beaches, mangroves and tropical forest inhabited by birdlife, butterflies and loggerhead turtles. The latter is home to the 19th-century Cape Florida Lighthouse. Or you may want to explore the many intriguing attractions nearby, like South Beach, Jungle Island or Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
