This rental features a spacious living area, cozy seafoam and wicker furnishings, and a full kitchen with a breakfast bar. The many deluxe amenities of Sugar Beach include shared pools, tennis courts, sun decks, and a grilling area.

Take a short drive up the coast just a little over four miles to discover fine dining, boutique shopping, and a full-featured marina offering opportunities for deep sea fishing, diving, and other watersports, all at SanRoc Cay Marina. For a day of outdoor adventure, hike or cycle the miles of trails that wind throughout nearby Alabama Gulf State Park. And find fun, family-friendly attractions at places like Adventure Island, less than two miles away, and Waterville USA, only four miles from this rental.

*Dear guest, please note that there will be construction going on between 7 AM and 9 PM. There may be construction at the complex, as well as a new condominium being built on the property next door, which will continue through at least the end of the present year. Work is being performed daily using heavy machinery, so construction noise is significant and previously shown views from the balcony may be impacted. This is taking place immediately adjacent to Sugar Beach, approximately 10-15 yards from this rental.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A place to sleep

The basics were clean, but the place definitely needed a deep clean. I was uncomfortable sleeping there the first night, so I ended up buying cleaning supplies and scrubbing until 3 am. It’s outdated but fair for the price.

Wonderful stay.

The condo was great... parking was kinda hectic finding a spot and the construction next door was. CRAZY loud and started at 0630 but we knew that when we paid for the room. Be prepared to pay $25 for a parking pass. Pools were wonderful, extreamly easy access to the beach...

Condo was nice and clean but they need to resupply the eating utensils as there was no forks and very few spoons. Also alot of construction right next door. Kinda loud at times. Kinda hard parking if you have a large suv. (Tahoe). But lots of fun.

Very disappointing

The condo was dirty and not maintained at all. Stained carpet, stained lamps and the dryer vented into the kitchen. They didn’t have adequate supplies- no spatula, limited bathing towels. The pictures of the condo are old and do not give a true picture of the place. Kitchen is very small and so are bathrooms . Condo was right on a busy loud road. We would not stay here again.

Spend the money for a better place

Room was poorly cleaned. Dirty sheet on sleeper sofa. Did not have any extra sheets or blankets for any of the beds. Didn’t have a blanket for the sleeper sofa. Two of the ceiling fans are off balance and terribly noisy. Vent fan in main bath is terribly noisy and the door knob is barely attached. Contacted Charles at Vacasa management about needing blankets when we checked in and was told he would contact property manager and have blankets sent. Never happened. Spend a little extra money because this was to much to pay for a dirty condominium in poor repair with a management company that could care less about your stay.

There were a few things that needed repair. But overall was a very nice and peaceful place to stay. The staff made sure my repairs were rectified . Amenities were wonderful.

Gulf getaway

This two bedroom condo was well laid out with a bath for each bedroom. The condo building itself felt old, just from the size and layout even though they were painting when we were there. Unfortunately they are building a new highrise next door which will completely block any view of the beach and water. We had a view which of course is a selling point but that will not last long.

You get what you pay for.

There is a new construction building being built next to this property. They start the Jack hammering at 6am. It was to loud for our young kids. The condo also wasn’t well stocked. Last thing. Light bulbs were missing in many lamps making the living room not very usable at night.

A bit decieving, but probably not intentionally so.

This is a business-owned condo (Vacasa), so lord knows how often they actually come out and look at the property or if they outsource their maintenance and cleaning (I suspect they do). They desperately need to come do a walkthrough. Location-wise, it was fine. No real complaints there, though you kind of get the impression that it is ocean view. It is not. That needs to be more clear. Also, a parking pass is inferred in the listing we saw. We got the impression that a spot was included with the room. It was not. You still need to pay for parking. This also needs to be explicitly stated. I almost had a heated argument with the gate guard. As for the property, two of the doors (front and queen bedroom) were kicked it at some point. Unrepaired from a structural standpoint. The locks may have been reaffixed, I couldn't tell...the Kaba lock on the front entrance still works. This is a HUGE safety concern. How was this not fixed before it was re-rented out? Seriously? The floors were unswept on entrance. Broom was found tucked in an unmarked closet on the last day, so we walked through sand constantly. The recliner was broken. The pull-out sofa was terrible and thin. The mattress needs to be replaced. You could literally feel the metal frame through it. The air mattress in the closet had a hole, so pointless to try to put on top of the sofa-bed. I honestly wish we had never stayed at this property in the end. While overall it was a decent stay, no real issues otherwise, the glaring and grievous issues force me to rate it 1 star. Do NOT stay here until the company fixed what is wrong. Absolutely unacceptable.

Not good

Property had a lot of damage that property owners new about but did not communicate with renters. Property was not clean. Overall we were very disappointed and will not be using Vasasca again.

We loved staying here. Location was perfect. Parking spaces were really close but it worked out. Loved that there was more than one pool... never was too crowded! We will definitely stay again.

Nice older Condo, but...,

This condo inside Sugar Beach Condominiums is Not individually owned. Therefore; it’s nicely managed through vacasa.com. Clean with MANY kitchen essentials for sure! Unfortunately the condos that aren’t individually & personally owned like this #275 aren’t remodeled, updated & they don’t have those little extras like a beach wagon, beach towels & well u know just those things u may need & if u didn’t bring them then u will need to go purchase them once you’re there if the condo isn’t stored with these items. I know this, bc I’ve stay at the Sugar Beach Condos multiple times & u can just tell the difference between the personally owned & the ones that aren’t purchased yet. Mainly due to the TLC of each individually owned unit. If I have to rent through Vascasa again then I’d be happy to do so, bc the entire process has been easy!

great condo!

I have stayed at many different units in this building. This one had by far the most comfortable beds. It was clean and well stocked.

Need better customer service

I could hear my neighbors up and down shut the back door and knocking around and talking at night. Which is understandable being an older units. But It was very annoying to me because I am a light sleeper. the TVs in the bedroom did not work in the living room the ceiling fan and light did not work . I reported this to the front office and they came and looked at it and left a note for me to call if it still wasn’t working. It was not working it did not work on the whole trip. The directions about the parking pass we got one at the front gate paid $25 for it not realizing that there were two in the room. So I wasted $25.
