Guest return annually to this lovely condo for many reasons. The suite features an excellent view of the Gulf while being close enough to the water for guests to hear the sounds of the surf. The ample balcony is accessible from the primary bedroom and living room and has comfortable furniture that invites guests to linger. With two full baths, 311s offers everyone plenty of space to ready themselves for all that Wind Drift and the area have to offer. The full-sized washer and dryer and dishwasher make it easy to keep everything clean during your stay. Wind Drift is a place for the whole family to enjoy some fun and make delightful memories, and we're confident you will be one of the many who return again and again.

This unit was absolutely perfect for my daughter and me. The property borders a state park, so the beach is not crowded, the views are amazing, the sea turtles in one of the three protected nests actually hatched on our last night there, and we watched the volunteers use their flashlights to help guide them out to sea. The unit is not updated, but very comfortable. Take what you need though, because there are no spices, salt and pepper, coffee, etc. We hope to go back soon! Highly recommend!

Great memories made!

My family had a great time. We enjoyed the beach and pool. We loved drinking coffee on the balcony but we also enjoyed the balcony throughout the day. Very satisfied with the accommodations for the price. Would book again!

Mixed reviews

Good: This is a great location. Not crowded and nice beach experience! Bad: make sure you register and pay the extra $62 to park or youā€™ll be stuck outside trying to get to the parking lot. Itā€™s a storage registration for parking and Vacasa doesnā€™t handle it or make it clear enough during the booking! Iā€™m not the only one who had issues with this. Called Vacasa and they couldnā€™t help and couldnā€™t or wouldnā€™t communicate with the people handling the parking process. Very frustrating! If Vacasa sends you an email that says youā€™re all set but you havenā€™t done the second registration for parking you will be very disappointed sitting at the gate wondering how to get in. This is the only really bad thing but itā€™s a big one as you can imagine! Sitting at the gate with people behind you and you canā€™t back out or get in. Youā€™ve paid all that money but they need $62 more dollars to park and make a fool of yourself.

Things to know before you go

We loved the location. The place is outdated, so don't expect what you see in the pictures. Don't expect a place that is very clean unless they change that in the future. Bring extra blankets for the beds. The swimming pool isn't very clean either. The building is being renovated (outside look), so hopefully they will work on everything else too. Unit 311 definitely needs improvements for the price that we paid. We will not return there, but we hope that our suggestions for improvements left privately will be taken into consideration.

Needs Major Updating

A prominent old and musty smell throughout the condo. Pictures do not match reality. Linens are thin and no extra blankets were provided. Marks on walls and stained cushions. The balcony and view are nice, but the balcony door doesn't lock. The condo building is nice with great beach access. I would not stay at this particular condo again.

Perfect Beachfront Location

We enjoyed this spacious rental right on the beach. Third floor large balcony is just right for sitting and watching the dolphins. There is balcony access from the bedroom as well as the living room. This spot has everything we look for in a beach getaway. I hope we will be able to book this exact spot again in the future. Lovely, just perfect.

Donā€™t use Vacasa

So many issues. I canā€™t even begin to describe them all. 63 parking pass paid for, couldnā€™t get a code to get in the gate. Multiple phone calls, people talked to me like I was an idiot. Then, no sheets/blankets for pull out sofa. Needs updated kitchen utensil items Locked out of unit for over an hour. Called and texted Vacasa support. Got hung up on when I requested a supervisor pitiful customer service. Door lock didnā€™t work. Had to go get a key to get in. Very disappointed. Supposed to hear back from a supervisor, still nothing.

Girls getaway

Had issues with the door not staying locked and had issues with the master bathroom faucet. Reported to host and didnā€™t get response until after I was home which was days later from reporting it.

In need of some repairs

The home is in a great location, however it really needs updated and repaired. Both faucets in the bathroom tubs were in such bad shape the water sprayed out the front. The balcony furniture is broken and tried to be covered by cushions. The cabinets in the kitchen had food where you grab to open them along of edge. I was kinda disappointed, since we use vacasa to book our vacations.

Great view/quiet condo

The view of the beach was great and access to it was very easy. The best part is there is not any condos to the right of this property making for a good stretch of secluded beach.
