This beachfront condo boasts a private balcony furnished with shared meals, conversations, and relaxing afternoon naps in mind. When you're not enjoying the view, the calming and restful interior which includes a comfortable living area and a full, well-equipped kitchen, will help you recharge for your next fun-filled experience in Orange Beach. On-site, Summer House offers beach access, an outdoor pool, and a sandy playground for children. A large hot tub is adjacent to the heated indoor pool, and a well-equipped fitness center, putting green, and tennis courts are also available.

Less than three miles up the coast, discover fine dining, boutique shopping, and a full-featured marina offering opportunities for deep sea fishing, diving, and other watersports, all at SanRoc Cay Marina. For a day of outdoor adventure, hike or cycle the miles of trails that wind throughout nearby Alabama Gulf State Park. And find fun, family-friendly attractions at places like Adventure Island, less than a mile away, and Waterville USA, only six miles from this rental.

Things to Know
Please note that group rentals are not allowed at Summer House on Romar Beach. No more than 5 units may be rented for groups of any kind. Any bookings found to be in violation of this policy will result in a fine of $500.
This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC. Alabama.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Gorgeous Views

The home was great! Perfect size for our 9 person group. We watched dolphins from the balcony. There is a local Walmart Market Place across the street to get groceries. And Kayden’s Ice cream and candy shop was a huge hit and was in walking distance to the condo.

2025 Family Vacation

This was our first visit to Orange Beach. We have stayed all along the Gulf Coast from Panama City, Destin, Fort Walton, and Gulf Shores. Orange Beach was one of our favorites. The condo was perfect for our large group of seven adults and three children. The layout worked perfectly with the three bedrooms. All comfortable and very clean. I got to experience my granddaughters first visit to the ocean. We made many great family memories that will be remembered forever. Communication from Vacasa was second to none. The gate attendant was very helpful and polite. We will definitely return.

50th birthday trip

The condo was in great location and convince to beach was great. The condo was not clean with food on cabinets and in fridge. Also roach in kitchen and multiple roach traps found. Fixtures in bathroom rusted and very dusty. Also when stay was booked construction was not supposed to be going on during our time of stay but was notified after cancel date that construction would be going on. No discounts given due to construction. Vasca was very responsive to complaints . Overall a good condo with amazing balcony and space just needs some extra cleaning and updating to rusted fixtures

Family/Friend beach cacation

First off the property was under construction, it wasn’t supposed to be. Refrigerator didn’t work for the first four days of booking. Solution was to bring us a dirty cooler for nine people. Luckily we had brought coolers for fishing. Stove/oven didn’t work well. Hot water in sinks took forever to get hot. The only plus was the view from balcony. Balcony was spacious though. The situation with the refrigerator wasn’t handled very well, made for a rough trip with 5 kids. Had to go to store daily for ice cutting into vacation time. Parking sucked do to construction and people not following rules evidently. Check in/out was easy. Will NOT return to this property, advise against it.

Great place

This property was direct beach front with umbrella and chair service right there. The condo was clean and well stocked with towels, sheets and toilet paper. There was plenty of dishes etc and plenty to space. The pool was large and everyone was behaved. The elevator was quick and there was plenty of carts for move in/out.

Right on the beach

My husband and I were there with our teenage daughter and her 2 friends. I liked how our bedroom was a little away from theirs. The condo was right on the beach was was great when we just wanted to do a little beachin’ and then go right back to the condo. The condo is in walking distance to stores.

The first day we got there the handle broke off the sliding glass door we called to get it fixed but they said they were busy. We killed two roaches and when people walked upstairs the white part in the ceiling fall off.

Very clean and well appointed

We had a very nice time. The condo was very clean and well maintained. All of the appliances and utensils were in excellent condition. The furniture and beds were comfortable. I had only one complaint. The patio doors were incredibly hard to slide open or closed. They were especially hard (almost impossible) to open from the outside. There was only a small indentation to put your fingers in to open the door. We bought WD 40 but it didn't help. We had to make sure someone was inside to let us back in. If you leave the door open the a/c shuts off. I get it, I wouldn't want a ridiculous power bill either. It was just inconvenient.

Nice, but could use a little maintenance

Very nice place and appeared very clean. After a little time we noticed the ceiling spackling over the table was falling, and the rug in the living room was pretty dirty. The only major complaint we had is both of the sliding doors are VERY hard to open, especially from the outside, even for an adult! Overall though I feel like we got a very nice place for the week.

Beach Trip 2022

The home was very nice. The kitchen was great. It had all we needed for cooking. The rooms were nice and we could all sleep well. The best part was the balcony. It was large and had nice furniture with a lovely beach view. The sliding doors need fixed. They are hard to open. We sure enjoyed our stay at Summer House.

Very Nice Condo

We enjoyed our long weekend in this condo. The living room was very spacious with plenty of seating. The kitchen lacked basics like pot holders and spatulas. The master bathroom was a little small but upgrades were nice. I was concerned about the slick shower floors. My elderly parents were not at all comfortable with the slick finish. Some type of anti skid strips or mat should be used. The large balcony was very nice. Lots of room for everyone. This condo is in a great location. It’s close to most of our favorite restaurants: Fish River Grill, Wolf Bay, Big Mike’s Steakhouse, Brick and Spoon, Luna’s and Cosmos. The grounds were well maintained. I would definitely stay there again.

Girls trip

We had a great stay and would return again. The balcony was wonderful and only a short walk to the beach everyday. Can’t wait to return! The only small negative was for cleanliness - we found chips and a chips bag in the living room - otherwise the place was very clean and had everything that we needed.

Perfect for bachelorette trip!

Lots of space and super clean! And cute, too!! Eight of us girls enjoyed staying there to celebrate my sister's upcoming wedding. We all had a bed to sleep in, and there were plenty of seats in the living room for us to hang out and play games. The dining table with a large mirror was a great place for us to do hair and makeup for going out. Coffee and chats on the large, comfy balcony were a great way to start our days. We really enjoyed our stay, and I'd definitely book this place again!

NICE!!!

Great. Had a wonderful time. Would love a ceiling fan outside on patio. The sensor to turn ac off is smart and logical but would have loved to listen to ocean at nite. We.lived sitting out on the.patio but it was so hot. Fan would have been marvelous. Thank you for.letting us stay midweek at a discount rate.

Awesome balcony!

The balcony is large, well equipped, very private and offers beautiful gulf front view. The condo itself is beautifully decorated, clean and comfy. It has all modern appliances including washer and dryer. There are plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, and plush bath towels. There were several board games and enough TVs and channels to keep everyone entertained. Overall, we had a great stay.
