Bright and Newly Built Carriage House in Historic District by Lucky Savannah

Located off of East Liberty Lane, this charming and bright carriage house welcomes four Lucky guests. The location of this property is one you cannot beat - Within walking distance to the River front, Savannah's Shopping District on Broughton Street, and many more venues!

Atop of the stairs you'll find an electronic lock, that will work with your unique door code for ensured safety. Step on in to your new digs, and get settled!

The open and inviting space boasts with natural light, and provides plenty of space to move about without feeling crowded. The living room is open to the galley style kitchen, and offers a smart flatscreen television, dedicated dining space for two, and a queen size sleeper sofa. The kitchen is equipped with modern conveniences such as stainless steel appliances, a full-size oven, fridge and dishwasher. An ideal set-up for short-term or extended stays!

Moving to the bedroom, guests will find a Queen size bed, and an ample amount of storage for their belongings. The en suite bathroom boasts with natural light and wallpaper, tying this quaint space together. Guests will appreciate having plenty of counter space to get ready for a day out on the town!

Looking to start your day off with brunch? Head South West toward Oglethorpe Avenue to Collin's Quarters. While on your way, take a short detour and stroll through Colonial Park Cemetery. Pop over to some of Savannah's most famed shops just over on Broughton Street, such as The Paris Market, a boutique offering an eclectic range of antiques, housewares, gifts & jewelry. Heading into the evening, step over to The Public and enjoy dinner on their rooftop terrace. Looking for a fun way to end the night? Enjoy hand crafted cocktails with your party at The Lost Square Rooftop Bar, over looking River Street.

Exactly what we needed

Was great for what we were looking for - nice, in a great area, and priced fairly. Easy communications with the property manager for access - just need to be cognizant you’re coming in from what feels more like an alley vs main road

Perfect Stay in Savannah

This carriage house is a perfect fit for two! We spent seven days/six nights in Savannah and absolutely loved our stay. Equipped with everything we needed and in a fantastic location, we were able to walk everywhere and explore the most beautiful sights in Savannah. We definitely plan to stay here again…hopefully in the very near future! You can’t go wrong with this beautiful carriage house!

Savannah stay

The check in process wasn’t as smooth as would have liked. There are 2 rows of buildings with the exact same numbering, we tried getting in the wrong place. I then called Lucky Rentals and nobody said are you at the brick side or siding side building. Would have save a lot of time. Bedroom ceiling fan light bulb was burnt out you would think housecleaning checks those. Parking isn’t the most convenient. Other than those things we enjoyed. Easy access walking to eat etc.

Cute Little Carriage House

We loved our stay here in Savannah. The carriage house was decorated beautifully. It was evident that every single thing in this unit was carefully chosen. All of it together created a wonderful atmosphere for a relaxing and romantic Valentine’s Day weekend. I will say that we didn’t know that all carriage houses are directly behind a larger home that faces a Main Street. You will enter the carriage house on a smaller side street that has other carriage houses on the other side. It has sort of an “alley feel”, but it is super clean, well-lit, quiet, and has a great little peek-a-boo view of the cathedral steeples. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was so convenient to everything we wanted to see. We would recommend it! We would recommend!

The internet doesn’t work, I think it’s shared and in the evenings and early morning it would not work at all or be so glitchy you can’t stand to watch tv. We ended up using my iPad with my data to watch anything. Also, the locked gate at the bottom of the stairs is locked from both sides and the lock box doesn’t work great. I can’t imagine that that would meet fire code to have people locked in.

The place is exactly as described on the website. Everything was clean and spotless. If you are driving it is good to know that parking is not on site but there’s plenty of free street parking available. If you have any mobility issues be aware there’s a steep staircase (as shown on the website) to access the apartment.

Great location and very clean

My only critique is that it's hard to figure out where and how to get into the property when you first arrive. Everything else is great -- quiet, very clean, plenty of towels, fantastic location for sightseeing in Savannah.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apt was very clean, nicely decorated and in a decent location...however, it was VERY SMALL! The pictures are quite deceiving. The description stated that it accommodated up to four people- but it was uncomfortably tight with three people away for a long weekend. The “living room” was extremely small and with the sofa bed open, it was claustrophobic and simply non-existent. There was no separate entry into the bathroom- you had to walk through the bedroom which eliminated any privacy. There was absolutely no place to store any clothes/luggage/personal items if you were sleeping on the pull out couch. I would not recommend this property to anyone other than a couple...but frankly for only two people, it’s not worth the price.
