Great place!

We have stayed at sandpiper twice this summer. Both places were nice! Our favorite is the condo as we were steps from the boardwalk. The entire condo was very clean kept. Everything worked. Will definitely be a condo i look for first when its time for vacation next summer.

Everything was nice some updated needed. The room has only one lamp for lighting at night. Doing the day is nice. Views are amazing Toilet didn't flush well,sliding door in room needs repairs and outside. The tub needs a stopper. Some updates needed. The stay was nice

Budget Motel

Condo felt like a cheap motel. Dirty, old outdated furniture including balcony seating that was the most uncomfortable thing possible. Property is a straight rental with zero decor or homey feeling. Entire unit needs updating. Disposal was clogged and previous renters food back up into sink.

Ocean view

Bright condo has an ocean view as advertised. Living area and dining areas are spacious. Kitchen is big enough for two people to prepare food. One can enjoy breakfast or lunch on the balcony deck. It gets sun at dinner time (summer). The stargazing is good from the deck over the water and away from the lights. Bedroom has a view. King bed is soft by design, a good mattress. Bunks are perfect for the kids. Location is great. Walk outside to the private beach. Covered snack bar serves lunch and drinks including alcohol. Sandpiper has tennis, pickle ball, pools, and a nice restaurant. It's close to Destin activities without the traffic right at the harbor boardwalk. Water park and arcades are near. We'll return!

Summer Trip

I really like the Sandpiper Cove area. Less crowds, quick access to everything however the condo needs some work. The sliding patio door lock is rusted and you canā€™t lock it, there is broom handle stick to put down so that it canā€™t be opened. The washing machine smells of mildew and doesnā€™t wash clothes well. You can also feel the mattress wires sticking out on the bunk beds and the toilet tank ran every time you flushed. The views were great and we will be back to Sandpiper Cove but in a different condo.

Really nice place but...

This is a really nice condo. Clean, close to the beach, air will freeze you out, the water gets extremely hot, the kitchen and the laundry have all updated appliances, but the bed is not very comfortable and there was no cable to be able to watch just regular channels (boyfriend and his football) and the TV in the living room, if you turned it off, you had to unplug it and plug it back in to be able to turn it back on. We just left it on the whole time. Oh, and if you can't climb stairs, you don't want to be in the 2000's. Didn't think about the fact that it would be on the second floor (my fault). Next time I will definitely be reserving one in the 1000's. Other then those few minor inconveniences, we had a great time and will likely rent from Vacasa again.

Very disappointed

Upon arrival we noticed a sizable hole in the living room wall. Not exactly what I would expect when spending a good deal of money to stay at a vacation home. I would expect the property to be well kept, and at the very least free of holes in the wall! We also reported that the WiFi and ice machine were not working. The neighbor also shared that they also had no WiFi and had reported it to Vacasa with no response from them. We contacted Vacasa upon arrival with our complaints and were assured someone would be coming to address. We followed up each day with the same standard response from them. No one showed up for our entire stay. Extremely unprofessional.

Sugary white sand in a few steps!

Beautiful view, white sand welcomes you before you are even on the beach! No fuss with elevators as the second floor has minimal steps. Mattress definitely needs to be replaced in master bedroom otherwise a wonderful stay!

Nice but needs a little updating

The unit is nice. No mention it was a second floor unit and I have two knees that need replacing. The bed needs a new mattress. The toilet doesn't flush completely. When sitting out on the deck you're blocked by a 2x8 that is now to the top of the railing especially if you're short hard to look over it you have to look in between the spindles. But you're paying for the view. And that was nice. Plus they also have a very nice washer and dryer. LOL unit could use a little updating .

Amazing view!

Breathtaking view as soon as you walk in the door, and the large mirror reflects the water perfectly! Light and airy with ample kitchen. We were pleased to find a Keurig in addition the the drip coffee maker! Would love to have had the bar stools on the deck as pictured. The table is nice to have but difficult to see the view over the ledge. Exterior doors and windows not completely secure (and in need of replacing), but that didn't bother us. We left them open most of the time to enjoy the sound of the waves. Overall, a great stay and we would love to return. Great value for the tremendous view and proximity to the beach, plus the amenities! A quiet and convenient location.
