Great condo

Beautiful view of the beach and only steps away. The bed and sleeper sofa were so amazingly comfortable. The condo was beautiful with all the comforts of home. I will definitely stay here again!

Close to beach with great beach views

Close to the beach and has great beach views from the deck. We enjoyed the beach service. Kitchen and baths were nice and updated, could use some updating with the living room furniture and rug, but overall this is a nice condo in a nice gated community.

Great Location and View!

We loved the view from the balcony! It was a short walk to the beach and we rented chairs right in front of the walkway. Everything was as nice in person as it looked on the website. We enjoyed our stay very much . We plan on coming back!

Excellent and enjoyable vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony and the fact that the condo was right on the beach. Would love to stay at this same unit again next year around the same time. The only thing that would make our visit even better would be to have one recliner.

Such a perfect place to stay! We had a great stay in our condo. It was just my husband and myself so we didnā€™t use the pull out sofa, but the king size bed in our room was very comfortable and the large TVs were nice to have. It was very convenient having two bathrooms even though we only used the big shower. We will definitely come here again!

Ok place to stay with great beach access

The beach access makes it worth it. The rental needed updated and better taken care of. Basic items like paper goods and such would be nice to have. Our previous stay at Sandpiper Cove was with an actual owner VRBO and offered many additional no cost amenities. Shame on us for expecting the same through Vacasa; should have done more research on this one.

The beach view was the best part of this unit. I would not recommend staying here. The sliders didnā€™t lock to the deck, the only way to lock them was the wood sticks placed in the slats. The furniture was outdated and uncomfortable indoors and outdoors. The bed felt like you were in a sink hole.

Disappointed

We stayed here two years ago and LOVED it! This time that was not the case. There was a lot of mold in the guest bathroom on the vent. It leaked water the whole time. I spoke to someone at Vacasa regarding the matter on day one but nothing came of it. There were no pillowcases for the pillows for the pull out couch. The blind on the window leading to the balcony fell off on day one and we couldnā€™t get it back up. The rug really needs to be replaced because itā€™s coming up on the sides and thatā€™s a major fall hazard. There was thick layers of dust all over the living room, behind chairs, on the electrical outlets. The deadbolt on the front door has been removed and the locks donā€™t work on the front door or the balcony door. I know you enter a code to get in but it makes you feel safer at night when you can deadbolt the front door. On our last day housekeeping busted into our room around 4pm. They never knocked. They said someone had requested the door be unlocked since the condo is a duplex and both units can be rented. We explained to her that we didnā€™t request this and we didnā€™t even know the family staying in the other unit. She argued with us about it. We told her we would be checking out in the morning so it was probably for the people coming in next. She wasnā€™t very friendly. Weā€™ll be staying elsewhere next year.

Family Destin 2022

This was our 16th time to stay at SPC, and in condo #2128. We love it for its location, security, easy access to the beach. These being older condo's, the owner seams to always try to keep #2127/#2128 up to date. This year it was nice to see a Keurig in the kitchen, just another good gustier. The ice maker needs to be fixed, never worked during our stay. A few suggestions to keep this condo top notch: replace the carpet in the main area, and soon within the next few years for sure replace the mattresses. I would also consider upgrading the Frig. I know these are high end items, however this is one of the best condos at SPC, let's keep it FULL. We will be back. .

Nice Condo

Loved the closeness to the beach and the view! Plenty of towels and washcloths! We had a couple of minor issues with housekeeping that were addressed and we were actually able to take care of them. Enjoyed our stay. Will stay there again!

Love Sandpiper Cove

This was our second trip to Sandpiper. Easy to walk to private beach. Chair and umbrella service. Staff is nice. Condo was nice and clean.

Great beach views

This was a great condo right next to Destin beach and worked great for the two of us. Nice updated kitchen and master bedroom with an amazing bathroom. We loved our deck to watch the ocean plus enjoy the sunshine. This was a great location to get around the Destin area.

Peaceful week

My family and I really enjoyed our week in this condo. It was quiet, homey and had a beautiful view of the beach! The master shower was absolutely amazing and sooo relaxing! The property manager was easy to speak with and quick to respond once we noticed a small leak in the master bathroom. My only complaints about this unit is there were no extra trash bags and the toilet paper was so cheap that I wish I had brought my own.

Gorgeous place and location

Our condo was gorgeous. Modern, clean, comfortable. Beautiful ocean view off deck. Fully stocked kitchen & baths. Even washer/dryer for sandy beach wear. Pool was a short walk away (as promised). Condo was easy to get to and close to food and entertainment. Perfect place to stay in Destin!

First Family Vcay in Destin
