Boasting a beautiful kitchen with an impressive hand-cut stone fireplace, here you can enjoy a morning croissant from the boulangeries up the road or an aperitif before walking to one of the local restaurants or café bars. Situated in the centre of a Bastide, there are many shops & supermarkets. A bustling French market is held each Monday morning.

Property Details

This large stone built house is refreshingly cool inside in summer, important for young children to escape the strong mid-day sun. A baby package is available on request, including a high chair, sterilizer, cot with bedding and a buggy. We are an Irish family with 3 children and we endeavour to provide those items that will make your stay with us as stress free and as enjoyable as possible. When you arrive you will receive, as our guest, a special welcome pack which includes cheese, pate, baguettes, fruit and of course bottles of wine, (tea, coffee, sugar and milk are also provided). The ground floor bedroom is suitable for people with reduced mobility; however the house is not suitable for wheelchairs.

The garden

The large private heated pool (10x5 metre) is perfect for a refreshing swim, spending your day lounging & relaxing or playing water sports!!! The covered terrace is safe and secure, our walled sunny garden has plenty of palms trees should you wish to find a shady corner to relax with a good book. There is the wilderbeest play centre, popular getaway "Teribithia" for kids and teenagers - where they can chill safely, away from the adults. It’s got books, toys and games. A selection of outdoor toys & ride ons are provided for use in the garden. There is a BBQ area, shaded patio area with plenty of garden furniture. There is also secure private parking on site.

Bedroom 1 - Yellow Room

Large bedroom with King-size bed and en-suite comprising shower, W.C and wash hand basin.

Bedroom 2 - Red Room

Very large, well-appointed room with 1 double bed, 2 single beds and a child train bed. Shares bathroom 3 with large luxury shower, WC and wash basin.

Bedroom 3 - Chocolate Room

Large super-king room with adjoining door leading to bathroom 2 which is very spacious with free standing bath with shower head, WC & wash hand basin.

Bedroom 4 - Lilac room

Well appointed large double room with 2 seater sofa which converts to double bed. Ideal for families. Shares bathroom 3 with large luxury shower, WC and wash hand basin or bathroom 2 with freestanding bath with showerhead, WC and wash hand basin.

Bedroom 5 - Orange room

Double bedroom – shares bathroom 2 or 3, details as above. Suitable for adults or kids.

Bedroom 6 - Ground floor

Bedroom with King bed, leading to bathroom 4 with large luxury shower, WC and wash hand basin.

We also have a traditional wooden cot and a travel cot with bedding and a bed guard, which can be set up in any room on your request.

Entrance hall

An elegant entrance hall with a striking T-shape walnut staircase, a large wood burning stove (off-season) with seating area where you can take a cool break from the summer sun and enjoy a selection of books available in the bookcase.

Living room

Beautiful, large room with ornate ceiling and ornate mirrored marble fireplace. 42” Flat screen TV with English channels and DVD player. Sofa and reclining leather chairs and coffee table. WiFi available on request only.

Kitchen

Stunning spacious handmade kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven/hob, microwave, iron /ironing board, American fridge/freezer, vacuum cleaner and CD/MP3/Radio. Double doors lead from here to the garden. The kitchen/diner seats 10 adults comfortably and a smaller table seating 4 is available.

Games room

Accessed through double doors from the hall and the living room. Full size Table Tennis table, Slate-bed Snooker/Pool table and Table Football.A selection of board games, books and children's toys and a ps2 with plenty of games are also provided.
