Classic house in the BEST KCB location - Immediate access to open ocean and bay

Weekly rentals in the Keys {and generally elsewhere } are based on a Saturday to Saturday occupancy. Check - in is on Saturday at 4:00 PM, and check - out is on the following Saturday at 9AM . If other times are required \ requested , please inquire. This house is usually not available from the end of October until the 1st of May each year as the owners are in residence during that time.

Pups are welcome if well behaved . There is a weekly pet fee as follows : one pup , $250 , two pups , $400, and three pups , $500. . See VRBO # 335111 { Casa del Sol } The Casa Del Mare is a wonderful house built by D'asign Source --- considered the top builder \ designer in the Florida Keys . Situated on the ocean side of the island on a wide crystal clear canal only a few yards from the open ocean, the location could not be better. Our dock is approximately 100 yards from the open ocean and just across from the entryway to Vaca cut and accesses to the bay country. The dock is 30' long and can easily accommodate boats up to 38' . This is a real plus for the serious diver or fisherman.
The house is sited on a beautifully landscaped lot with mature plantings -- to include honey mango and banana trees. PLEASE share honey mangoes when ripe in June --- everyone wants some ! There will be well over 100 fruits --- and they are the best ! A great house for families and children.
Inside there are two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms on the ground floor. One is a master bedroom with king bed and a lovely illuminated tray ceiling and large master bathroom with walk in shower and closet. The other guest bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed and a full bathroom and walk in tiled shower with glass door enclosure.

Upon entering the front door you are greeted by a cathedral ceiling with full length windows looking out over the expansive pool and waterfront beyond. The fully equipped chef's kitchen includes all stainless steel appliances . The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare any dinner of your choosing. Additionally there is a wet bar with wine cooler off the family \ living room. Conveniently there is also a well appointed powder room in the front foyer.
There is a large laundry room in the attached garage right off the kitchen. The garage itself is not included in the rental .
On the second floor there are two guest rooms with en suite bathrooms and wonderful privacy. One bedroom has a king bed as well as a trundle bed { making two singles } . The other bedroom has twin singles . All bedrooms have large flat screen TVs and internet.

Outside there are wonderful spaces to dine, enjoy the pool , waterfront , and a step down dock with fish cleaning station { perfect for launching one of our four kayaks and getting into boats dockside } . There is plenty of space to keep your own boat . Fishing from the dock is a favorite pastime for the kids. There is also a bait freezer outside , convenient to the dock .
A huge pool and an attached child's pool along with several seating areas highlight the waterfront side of the house. Plenty of room for families with children to enjoy without being on top of one another. Also a very convenient pool side bathroom so bathers do not need to run into the house.
A classic old Florida style gazebo with stone columns and tiled roof adds to the enjoyment of the waterfront . The gazebo is equipped with lights and an overhead fan --- a favorite dining spot .
A beautiful new outdoor kitchen to include a Crown Verity SS grill , Fire Magic power burner and sink , round out the picture. The outdoor kitchen is undercover and has lighting over the power burner, grill , and the sink area , as well as two overhead fans. There is ample space in the stainless steel storage drawers and cabinets , all of which are fitted below beautiful full length granite counter tops . Finally , there is a convenient outside powder room adjacent to the pool and outdoor kitchen . Casa Del Mare was built as a family home and not as a rental property , and as such was designed and built with far greater attention to detail than a typical "rental home" .
