We appreciate the opportunity for our guests to file reports based upon their experiences at our home. However, in this instance, the review is exaggerated to such a degree that it is damaging and warrants a response. The guests did contact us about a man that they felt was wandering around the house. However, this contact was not made until several days into their stay. Their review, suggesting that this happened 3 out of the 5 nights was not reflected in their report of the purported incident to us (or to the police). They sent us videos of the man walking on the public sidewalk in front of the house. There were no videos of the man attempting to make any entry into the home. The guests contacted the police about this man and the police visited the home. After an interview with the guests the police determined that there was no need for a report to even be filed since the man was on a public sidewalk and there was no evidence of any attempt by any person to enter any houses. We want to ensure that all of our guests have an excellent experience at our home and we do not want a review that is this hyperbolic to cause unwarranted concern for potential guests.
