The great room with 27' ceiling boasts a state of the art kitchen seating 12 for dining. The heavenly steeple room library is surrounded by light and windows, towering over Cape May.

Great place

The house is close to everything and it was very unique. The host is very responsive and so was the property manager. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous rental!

This is the most fabulous place we have ever rented on VRBO. So much space, gourmet kitchen, and close to everything!! Highly suggest!

Lovely place

This is a unique and well-appointed property, and the location is terrific (10 minutes walk to everything, including the beach). It is thoughtfully decorated and the owners clearly put a lot of money into the place. We enjoyed it.

Girls Weekend

Great location and home for a girls weekend. Only bummer was being required to provide our own sheets and towels, but otherwise the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, games, etc. Great place to have made lovely memories.

The most gorgeous place!

We have stayed at this property three years in a row… the stain glass windows, gourmet kitchen, high ceilings, mouldings, library, too many things to list! You walk out the door and a few steps and you are in the heart of Cape May. Can’t say enough about how much we love this annual get away to Franklin Street! Book before it’s too late!!

Wedding Week

The property is "Majestic". The decorating is impeccable. This was just a fabulous place to host family and friends celebrating a marriage. Everyone loved the accommodations. Staying at the "church" was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Alice was the perfect guest! We had many conversation porior to her check-in, as she hosted a a beautiful wedding (post celebration) at the Majestic Steeple! The communication was outstanding and Alice was the kind of guest you want back every year!

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding pre planning, rehearsal dinner, welcoming our friends and family to Cape May and the wedding day. It was a great location for us to use as our base and everything turned out great. We were centrally located. The house was beautiful and my daughter decorated for the occasion. We enjoyed our stay. We could walk easily to beach, mall, and downtown.

Historic beauty but needs attention

This historical old church was a beautiful space that my husband, an architect, loved studying while we were in Cape May. The location was ideal for walking to Washington Street Mall and surrounding areas. We hosted our adult children and their spouses so we utilized the entire house. Upon arrival, we noticed the house was tidy but not really clean and the downstairs had an unpleasant odor. The house was dusty, decor off the walls, trash and past guests items were left in several rooms. It was very warm in the house. Unfortunately, it stayed that way. Some days the thermostats hovered at 80 degrees. We notified the owner and the property manager but the issue wasn’t addressed by a technician until the last day of our 2 week stay. This was the main issue that made our time here uncomfortable and disappointing, as our guest got little sleep and they were with us prior to the heat wave that hit during the stay so the conditions got worse.Other issues, the range hood is unusable due to a piercing whine, the jets on the bathtub didn’t work, upstairs master toilet never flushed properly. Items listed as available (ice maker, electric tea kettle, coffee grinder, bikes) were not at the unit. These items we had planned to utilize. Food prep and cooking was difficult due to ants. Chris, the property manager addressed a broken shower head quickly. This condo needs some attention and the listing needs to updated to reflect what’s currently available at the unit.

Beautiful property .

This was a beautiful property in a great location for Cape May. My only criticism would be that it is stated that check-in time is 4pm, however the email with all the check-in information states keys can be picked up between 2-5 pm. When I went at 2 pm I was told that check-in was 4 pm. The agents did reach out to the owner and she did allow give us early access since the unit was prepared. I just think the communication should be consistent.

Very large and spacious

Property is gorgeous and has lots of space for multiple family’s. Only downfall is it only has 2 full baths if you have lots of showers. Otherwise it’s close to shopping a short walk to the beach.

A fabulous place in a great location. Top quality appliances, comfortable beds, excellent furnishings. There are only 2 full baths - 1 on each level - so if you have more than 2 couples, it is a bit under-bathed.

Easter Vacation

Our family of five had an enjoyable Easter vacation together at this unique stay. Each teen had their own royal bedroom to enjoy! The was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax in our own ways. The church/house is in the perfect location for an off season beach stay - the kids loved walking around town on their own. It is very close walking distance to the grocery store and the Washington Street Mall. It is a longer walk (10 minute walk) to the beach - but a beautiful walk through the gorgeous neighborhood. The kitchen and main living area is on the second level (just to inform any one who has issues with steps). Most essentials are available except bed linens and bath towels because of the pandemic.

A Thanksgiving getaway treat

We had a wonderful time. The condo (#2) is prettier than in the pictures. The location is close enough to Washington St. mall, but far enough away so its not too busy. The walk to the beach is easy-peasy. We loved staying here and enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner in the house. So very nice.

The STUNNING Steepled Beauty in Cape May!

The Majestic Steepled Beauty definitely lived up to its name! What a stunning property! The condo is amazing, with such unique rooms--each room is more beautiful than the next. And it is not only the design of the property that is unique, but the accent pieces that are a part of each room are show stoppers! The grand chandeliers, the fine painted globe resting on the desk in the great room, the high end kitchen appliances with palatial island, the charming closet where the organ pipes/bell chimes used to be housed, the brilliant choice of books in the steeple room library, the choir loft, the soaring wooden beams, the delicate crystal seashell lamps, and the magnificent Hummingbird wall paper in the Princess room! We had a lovely time at the house--the great room on the second floor is a wonderful place for the whole family to get together to eat, talk, drink, and watch a movie! There is a lovely outside patio area with plenty of seating and a huge umbrella to keep you nice and cool while you cook on the grill! Added bonus: a wine fridge and another refrigerator/freezer downstairs right by the entry way to keep all your drinks cool and you can grab them as you go out to the beach! Mark and Caroline were unbelievably accommodating during our stay--they wanted everything to be perfect for us! Anything we needed, we could call them and they were there to help! They provided us with 8 beach tags for our stay! They also had a brand new beach umbrella, new beach chairs, and beach towels for us to use for our visit. So convenient! We had a lovely time and would highly recommend the steepled beauty! It was an unforgettable experience! Thank you Mark and Caroline for making our stay so wonderful!
